"Turn on whatever you'd like, baby," Rosie smiled as she kissed your cheek.

Grabbing the blanket from the back of the sofa, she covered you both up with it and then pulled you into her arms as you decided on a movie.

Days off are rare for Rosie. Since she finally has one today, she suggested you spend it watching some movies and cuddling together.

It sounded fun. But it's also a very difficult thing for you to do. Staying still is extremely hard for you, with your ADHD you feel this constant itch to keep moving.

But you know this is important to Rosé. Quality time together is sadly something you don't get very often and you wanted to cherish it just as much as she did.

You let her hold you a little tighter as you began to get engrossed in the film. But it didn't take long for that familiar itch to return.

You shifted in Rosie's arms and she quickly turned her head to look at you. You saw the look of worry in her eyes as she brushed her hand along your cheek.

"Everything alright?"

You wanted to tell her yes because you hate to think about how you might distract her from the film she seems to be enjoying, or even more so, ruin your morning together.

But you couldn't control the need to move. It was so overwhelming that it was starting to make you anxious.

As hard you try, suppressing the need to move never works. You only ever make things worse.

"No." You said and moved out of her arms to bounce your knee and fidget with your fingers.

"You need to move?" She asked, her voice soft as she spoke.

She brushed a lock of hair behind your ear and gazed at you with shiny eyes, completely understanding your needs.

As much as she wanted to hold onto you, you needed a little space to move and she wasn't going to stop you.

"I'm sorry. I know you wanted to cuddle and everything but I need to move."

"Don't be sorry, sweet girl." She smiled and brushed her thumb along your knuckles in comfort for a sweet second. "I understand."

"You're not upset?"

"No, baby. Not at all. I know you can't control this. It's not your fault. If you need to fidget, then go right ahead. I'm not going to stop you or hold you back. I get it."

You breathed out a sigh of relief and closed your eyes as she pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.

"Thank you for being so understanding."

"Always. If you want to curl up to me at any time, you're more than welcome. If you need some space to fidget, I'll give it to you. Just know that I try my very best to understand what you go through and I'll never be annoyed or upset if you need to stop whatever we might be doing if you need to do these things. I'm right here with you."

You smiled at her and happily kissed her back when she put her lips on yours for a short but sweet kiss.

She sat back, giving you a little space yet still staying close to you, just in case.

She turned her attention back to the movie as you fidgeted.

She was right there if you need her but she was also being incredibly patient and understanding, letting you do whatever it is that you needed to do so you'd feel better.
