Gabriel notices Emily's sudden change of mood when he mentioned Charry's name and he could not control his giddiness thinking how Emily is getting jealous with Charry. He did not see this coming but he definitely likes seeing the ranting Emily because of jealousy than be with the silent Emily and will keep him wondering what is on her mind and heart.

"Napaka-swerte naman talaga ng Charry na yan at pati ang isa sa favourite author ko may konek sya," Emily sarcastically commented.

"They are good friends," Gabriel said.

"Good for her," Emily grumpily commented while raising an eyebrow.

"Oh bakit ang sungit na naman? Nawala yan kanina ah," Gabriel confusedly asked.

"I've been hearing a lot about this Charry of yours since you left for that abrupt business trip. Pero kahit kailan hindi mo naman sya nabanggit sa akin," Emily uttered.

"Should I tell you about her?" Gabriel asked to lengthen their conversation about Charry because he is actually enjoying it.

"Oo nga naman, magkaibigan lang naman kasi tayo, at hindi mo naman ako girlfriend para kwentuhan ng mga past relationships mo," Emily sarcastically uttered in reply and it is too late for her to realized how odd she delivered those lines, and Gabriel just meaningfully smiles at her after her outbursts. "Joke lang yun," she said taking back her statement.

"Okay," Gabriel briefly uttered. "I don't need to tell you anything about Charry. You'll be meeting her the day after tomorrow, anyway," he further said.

"Uuwi na ako bukas nang umaga kaya hindi na nya ako aabutin pag-uwi ng Bicol," Emily declared.

"How will you meet Charry kung babalik na tayo ng Manila bukas?" Gabriel asked.

"I don't need to meet her," Emily quickly replied. "Also, anong sinasabi mong babalik ng Manila bukas? FYI, Mr. Gabriel Alcaraz, ako lang ang sasakay ng bus pabalik ng Manila bukas," she firmly added.

We come here together, therefore, we are leaving together," Gabriel declared. "Teka lang, nagseselos ka ba kay Charry?" Gabriel straightly asked.

"Wow ha, ang kapal mo," Emily said.

"If you only see yourself, you look like a jealous girlfriend each time I mentioned Charry's name," Gabriel commented.

"Jealous girlfriend your face. Bakit naman ako magseselos sa Charry na yun eh hindi naman kita boyfriend?" Emily asked.

"Gusto mo ba?" Gabriel confidently asked.

"Alam mo, wag kang masyadong magkakakain ng seafoods, masama ang epekto sa utak mo eh, ayan oh, nagha-hallucinate ka na. Ang dami mo kasing kinaing hipon kaninang dinner," Emily commented.

"Ayaw mo ba akong maging boyfriend?" Gabriel asked again.

"Tumigil ka na at para kang sira, kung anu-ano ang sinasabi mo," Emily commented.

"Oo or hindi lang naman ang sagot na kailangan ko. Siguro crush mo 'ko kaya paligoy-ligoy ka," Gabriel uttered in assertiveness.

"Ang kapal talaga ng mukha mo," Emily uttered.

"Hindi yan ang tamang sagot. I will ask again, gusto mo ba akong maging boyfriend?" Gabriel asked again.

"Ayoko, kasi hindi tayo bagay," Emily straightly answered.

"Okay, sige nga pag-usapan natin ang punto mo bakit mo nasabing hindi tayo bagay," Gabriel said.

"Pangkaraniwang tao lang ako, 'yung mga kagaya ni Charry na may ganitong kalaking yaman ang bagay sa iyo," Emily replied.

"You know that is not true, mas malaki ang assets ng mga Ricardo kesa sa mga Imperial," Gabriel said.

"Fernandez ang apelyido ko at hindi Ricardo," Emily said.

"But the Ricardo blood is in your veins, Emily, kaya sa ayaw mo at sa gusto, hindi malayo ang agwat ng estado nyo sa buhay ni Charry," Gabriel said.

"Utang na loob, Riel, pwede ba, itigil na natin ang usapang 'to, hindi nakakatuwa," she added.

"Finally, I heard you call me 'Riel'. Such music to my ears," Gabriel said.

"Ewan ko sa iyo, masyado  ka nang maraming sinasabi, wala namang sense," Emily uttered.

"Is there anything else that you have in mind bukod sa difference ng estado natin sa buhay?" Gabriel continued asking.

"I don't trust you or anybody else for that matter," Emily uttered. "I trusted someone so much in the past. Halos pinaikot ko ang mundo ko sa kanya. I thought our feelings were mutual, but it turned-out, one sided love affair lang pala ang meron kami. Ayoko nang maulit 'yung atangahan ko dati, so promised myself to guard my heart. Not trusting any other man, even how much I like him is my way of guarding my heart,"

"So are you saying that you like me?" Gabriel asked.

"You don't like me," Emily straightly said.

"You are correct," Gabriel replied.

And that simple statement felt like a sharp knife that stubs Emily straight to her heart but she still manage to hide her pain and uttered. "I told you," Emily commented with rolling eyes.

"Meron pa pala akong ibibigay sa iyo." Gabriel then said and quickly tinkers on his phone.

"Ano na naman yun?" Emily asked.

"I sent it to you just now, check your viber," Gabriel said.

Emily agitatedly checks on her phone and got surprise upon seeing a video sent by Gabriel, "Oh my God, meron ding pa video greet from Nicholas Sparks," she excited asked and Gabriel nodded.

"Panoorin mo," Gabriel told her.

Emily hits the play button and she is all smile while watching the video from one of her favourite authors, "Hello Emily, thank you for your support. You know what? I am dying to meet you for two reasons. First, I find you so special because someone exerted much effort to gift you my book with my authograph on it, he is such a rare male species. Don't you think so? Second, this rare male species I am talking about thinks that it will be more special and sweet if I ask you this question in his behalf. I am really very jealous on you, my dear, so, here is the question that he wants to ask you. Emily, will you marry Gabriel?"

Emily was not able to move for a moment after watching the video, she looks at Gabriel after a while and sees him down on his knee holding a small box with a beautiful ring inside it, "It is true that I don't like you, Emily, because I already love you. I know this is sudden but I am seriously in-love with you. I don't want to be just your boyfriend but I want you to be my wife. Will you marry me please, Ms. Emily Fernandez?" Gabriel asked her while he shivers.
