Emily witnessed how frustrated the Chairman is after reading the agenda for JAC Publishing. His face was all red when he instructed her to call immediately call Gabriel. She overheard how the eldest of the triplets was reprimanded by their grandfather.

Don Jose is shooks his head upon ending his call to Gabriel. "I can't believe he did not inform me about that project," she heard the old man said.

"Is everything all right, Mr. Chairman?" Emily could not help but asked.

"I am so upset with Gabriel," Don Jose replied.

The old man remains silent for a long time and prefers to review the documents on his desk. This is the first time Emily saw the Chairman behaves like this. His eyes may be on the documents he is reviewing but Emily sees him often releases a deep sigh. "Have you read the materials for the JAC Publishing meeting later?" Don Jose then asked.

"I did, Sir," Emily briefly replied.

"What do you think about their project on releasing a book written by unknown author?" Don Jose asked.

"Honestly, Sir, I like the idea. JACP can give chance to new and aspiring authors. At least kapag sumikat sya nakakabit ang pangalan ng JACP because the company discovered her," Emily replied.

"But how can we sell the book of an unknown author? Hindi ba siguradong malulugi tayo kesa kumita?" Don Jose asked.

"Sir, I believe that is the job of the marketing group. I think we could gauge how good the marketing group is if they were able to promote the book of an unknown author," Emily replied and she smiles upon seeing the old man nodded.

"Do you like reading books, Emily?" Don Jose asked.

"I make sure to read at least one chapter of book everyday po. Pero kapag wala po akong ginagawa, I can finish a book in one sitting, Sir," Emily replied.

"What kind of books do you like?" Don Jose asked.

"I mostly read contemporary fiction books. I also love reading self-help books, Sir," Emily replied.

"Have you thought of writing a book?" Don Jose asked.

"Honestly, Sir, meron na po akong naisulat na romance story. Gusto ko rin pong maging writer when I was in high school," Emily said.

"Really? What happened to the story you wrote?" Don Jose interestedly asked.

"Nothing, Sir, nakatago lang po sya sa laptop ko," Emily said.

"Give it to me, gusto kong mabasa yung ginawa mo. Isali natin sa mga stories na for review nila Gabriel," Don Jose said.

"Po? Naku nakakahiya naman po. Also, baka magalit po si Boss Gab, baka isipin nya na pinababayaan ko ang work ko as your executive assistant. Yun nga pong offer ni Sir Franco, feeling ko ayaw ni Boss Gab, tapos eto namang pagpasok ng story ko sa JACP," Emily said.

"Then use a pseudo name so he would not know na ikaw ang nagsubmit nung story," Don Jose said. "I am serious, Emily. I want you to send to me today your draft story," he added.

"Pero, Sir, nakakahiya po talaga," Emily said.

"Ano ba ang nakakahiya? You should be proud of yourself because not everyone has the skill to write a story like you do," Don Jose said.

"Sir, hindi nyo pa nga po nababasa yung ginawa ko to say that I have the skill to write," Emily said, and Don Jose just smiles at her.

"My daughter Amanda likes to write romance stories, too, when she was in high school. Sya ang nanay ng triplets," Don Jose told Emily, smiling widely.
