Elizabeth is already waiting in Gabriel's office when the latter came in with her sister. She is ready to complain about waiting but it she totally forgets about it when she sees a different glow in Emily and Gabriel's eyes.
"You had lunch out together?" Elizabeth asked.
"Yes, what's wrong with that?" Gabriel asked in reply.
"Are you two dating?" Elizabeth asked.
"We are not," Emily quickly replied.
"Do you have a problem if we are dating, Elizabeth?" Gabriel asked.
"Hindi kayo bagay," Elizabeth grumpily replied and Gabriel chuckles. "What's funny?" she asked.
"Hindi pa nga tayo nag-uumpisa nagsusungit ka na. Relax lang, Chef Elizabeth," Gabriel said while he walks to his desk.
"Saan kayo kumain?" Elizabeth asked.
"Why do you want to know?" Emily asked back.
"Bukas dun kayo ulit kumain, mukhang may pangpakalma ang kinain nyo eh, kasi chill lang itong Boss Gab nyo," Elizabeth said.
"We had ramen and gyoza in BGC," Emily replied.
"Goodness, you went to our favorite Japanese restaurant?" Elizabeth excitedly asked.
"Pati favorite Japanese restaurant pareho kayo?" Gabriel asked. "You have so many things in common, hindi kaya magkamag-anak kayo nung past life nyo?" he asked while the two ladies got startled for a while.
It was Emily who was quick to think of an alibi to prevent Gabriel from thinking malicious thing about her and Elizabeth. "Malay mo nga magkapatid pala kami ni Chef Elizabeth nung past life namin, isn't that great?" she said.
"Sana lang hindi brat si Elizabeth sa past life nyo," Gabriel commented.
"How dare you call me a brat, Gabriel," Elizabeth uttered, and Emily throw a meaningful stare at Gabriel and he quickly understands the stare.
"I'm sorry, I mean no offense," Gabriel apologized.
"Wow, I can't believe you are apologizing now. Have ramen and gyoza for lunch again tomorrow kasi iba ang effect sa iyo eh," Elizabeth commented.
"It is not because of the food, Elizabeth," Gabriel meaningfully said, and Elizabeth is quick to notice the spark in his eyes while uttering those words.
"I see, it is because of the person you were with," Elizabeth commented.
"Mauubos ang oras nyo kung magtatalo kayo, mas mabuti pang mag-umpisa na kayo, Boss Gab," Emily uttered to prevent her sister to further comment that would make her uncomfortable.
"I guess you are right, Emily, we really have to start rather than waste our precious time fighting about nonsense," Gabriel said.
"Seriously, pwede kang utusan ng EA mo, Gabriel?" Elizabeth sarcastically asked.
"It was just a reminder, Chef Elizabeth," Emily uttered.
"And I agreed because she is right," Gabriel said.
"Tell me honestly, Gabriel. Do you like Ate Emily?" Elizabeth bravely asked.
"I guess that question is improper, Chef Elizabeth," Emily firmly said.
"I like Emily, because she is very good at work, very efficient and smart. Lolo is very fortunate to have her as his EA," Gabriel replied. "Since I already answered your question, siguro mas magandang magstart na lang tayo after fifteen minutes, perhaps to loosen up," Gabriel said.
"Mabuti pa nga," Elizabeth said and walks to the round table where she and Gabriel will conduct her training.
"Boss Gab, since we have fifteen minutes before you start the training, you might want to look at the copy of the annual magazine. Sabi ni Mr. Chairman, he wants you to give the go signal for the final printing," Emily said.
"Patingin," Gabriel said, and Emily handed to him the magazine.
Gabriel started scanning the pages while Elizabeth watches him and and her sister commenting on each page. She has not seen that spark in her sister's eyes, even when she was smitten with Clint. Emily's eyes glow each time she looks at Gabriel.
"Ang ganda ng napiling picture ni Mr. Chairman, dyan sa picture nyong apat," Emily commented.
"Sino ang mas gwapo?" Gabriel asked.
"Tinatanong ba pa yun, syempre kayong tatlo eh pare-pareho lang naman ang hulma ng mukha nyo," Emily replied, chuckling and Elizabeth wonders, when was the last time she sees her sister comfortably converse with a male after what happened to her and Clint. She has not seen her talking to Yago and Franco the way Emily is talking with Gabriel now, that is as if the DBS president and her sister have their own world.
"What are you talking about?" Elizabeth asked to remind Gabriel and Emily that she also exists in the room.
"We are checking on the annual magazine, before we do the final printing," Gabriel casually replied as if there was no argument between him and Elizabeth few minutes ago. "I was asking Emily who looks better among us," he further said.
"Patingin nga," Elizabeth said and walks toward Gabriel and Emily.
"All right, if Elizabeth thinks that Yago looks better than Franco and me, I rest my case," Gabriel said.
"Iba talaga ang nagawa ng ramen at gyoza sa iyo, Gabriel," Elizabeth said. "Mas masarap akong gumawa ng ramen at gyoza, gusto mo dalhan kita bukas?" she asked.
"Enough, Lizzie," Emily fiercely uttered.
"Oh, ayan galit na si Ate Emily mo," Gabriel sarcastically uttered.
"Here are your training materials, Boss Gab, Chef Elizabeth," Emily said then she puts on the round table the different sets of folder. "I prepared everything you need for today's session so maybe I can leave the two of you for few minutes," she added before she walks to the door.
"Where are you going?" Gabriel asked.
"I believe, I am allowed to pee," Emily said then immediately went out of the DBS office.
"Oh, tayong dalawa na lang dito, pwede mo nang aminin na may gusto ka kay Ate Emily," Elizabeth straightly said.
"Eh ano naman sa iyo kung may feelings ako kay Emily, why does it bother you?" Gabriel asked.
"Hindi ka bagay sa kanya. Mabait sya, pero ikaw, masama ugali mo," Elizabeth uttered.
"Bahala ka sa opinion mo, it will not matter anyway," Gabriel said, and Elizabeth just raised an eyebrow at him and smirk.
