Gabriel got surprised seeing Emily arrived early on Monday morning. The latter usually arrived after breakfast. It is such a delightful feeling for him to dine in with her before they start their week at work.
"Wala bang traffic? Ang aga mo ah," Gabriel commented.
"Good morning, Boss Gab. Nakisabay ako sa pinsan ko, papunta kasi sya ng Calamba," Emily replied.
"Come on, join me for breakfast," Gabriel asked.
"Mag-isa ka lang?" Emily asked.
"Ganyan mo ba ka-miss si Yago? Hindi ka pa nga nag-uumpisang mag-almusal sya na ang hinahanap mo," Gabriel commented.
"Si Yago agad, pwede rin naman si Franco di ba?" Emily replied.
"Franco does not usually join us for breakfast. Si Yago ang madalas nating kasabay mag-almusal," Gabriel uttered.
"Well, with all honesty, I am referring to Yago and Franco because there were times na nakakasabay naman natin syang mag-almusal," Emily explained. "Also, di ba ngayon ang dating nung trainee mo, Boss Gab?" she asked.
"Yes, and I have no choice but to reprimand her. I told her to come here before seven pero pasado alas-siyete na wala pa rin," Gabriel said.
"Baka naman she finds it too early. Remember eight-thirty ang start ng working hours natin," Emily commented.
"But there are instances that we need to report for work earlier than the usual. Hindi lahat ng tao mag-aadjust sa atin, lalo na kung kliyente," Gabriel uttered.
"Well, agree naman ako sa sinabi mo," Emily uttered.
"By the way, can you please check with Ms. Sonia yung guest room na gagamitin ni Elizabeth. I want it be ready before she arrives," Gabriel said.
"Ready na, Boss Gab. Naitawag ko na kay Ms. Sonia last night and I also asked her earlier, on my way here," Emily said.
"I like the efficiency, good job," Gabriel commented and enough for Emily to blush.
Emily is already used in hearing praises at work, specially when she started working with Jose Alcaraz, but this commendation from Gabriel somewhat makes her a little giddy.
"Thanks for the compliment, Boss Gab," Emily said when someone arrived at the dining area.
"Good morning, everybody," Elizabeth greeted. "Ay, nakaistorbo ba ako? Sorry, I'll just wait in the living room," she added.
"Join us for breakfast, Elizabeth," Gabriel said.
"Talaga ba, pwede akong sumabay sa inyong dalawa, mukhang may breakfast date kayo eh," Elizabeth uttered, teasing.
"Stop talking non-sense," Gabriel said. "By the way, Emily, please meet, Ms. Elizabeth Ricardo, granddaughter ni Lolo Lino," he added.
"No need for the introduction, I'm sure kilala ako ni Emily," Elizabeth said.
"How can that be? Emily was in Bulacan when you and Lolo Lino had lunch with us," Gabriel said.
"Boss Gab, sino ba naman ang hindi makakakilala kay Chef Elizabeth? Sikat na sikat kaya sya. Pinapanood ko rin yung cooking show nya dati," Emily said.
"Ohh ... I'm so touch, pinapanood mo ang cooking show ko," Elizabeth uttered.
"But you are not here for a cooking show, Elizabeth, you are here to be trained para ma-handle mo ang shipping business ni Lolo Lino," Gabriel uttered.
"Bakit 24/7 ba ang training ko, Gabriel? Wala talagang time na bumisita ako sa kusina nyo?" Elizabeth sarcastically asked.
"You will only have eight hours of training per day. And I suggest that you leave the kitchen to the cooks. You are a guest here and it is not nice if we let you do the chores," Gabriel said.
