65 - Breakfast Arguments

Gabriel started getting restless after Emily told him that he has to win Elizabeth's heart before they could push through with their wedding. For him it is even harder than getting all the authograpped books of his fiancée's favourite authors.

Working with Elizabeth for several months confirms how unlikely she is than her sister Emily. Gabriel is very much aware how hard it is to deal with Elizabeth, she is one hell of a stubborn brat. But he understands that it is important for Emily to get her sister's nod, technically, Elizabeth is the only one left with her in the family.

It is only a short moment since he fell asleep when he felt soft hands caressing his face. He smiles upon smelling a very familiar scent. "Good morning, my beautiful writer," he uttered while still his eyes are close and he hears sweet chuckles.

"How did you know it's me?" Emily asked.

Gabriel grabs her hand and kisses it, then he pulls her and wraps her arms around him, "I know your scent," he replied.

Emily puts her head on Gabriel's chest and hugs him tightly, "Magpapalit na ako ng cologne, kabisado mo na ang amoy ko eh," she uttered.

"Even you'll change your cologne every day, I'll know it's you," Gabriel said while stroking Emily's hair. "Can't you heart it? My heart beats so fast everytime you are near me," he said.

Emily chuckles and uttered, "Yeah, I agree to that,"

"I can't wait to have mornings like this," Gabriel said then he tightly hugs Emily, "I love you, my sweet and beautiful writer," he sweetly declared.

"And I love you, too, my gorgeous avid reader," Emily replied then pushes her self up, "but we need to get up, we have work to do. You promise to finish that presentation today," she said.

"I did not say we will finish it today. I said we will work on it here," Gabriel said.

"What? Hindi pwedeng hindi natin matapos yun today, Riel, sa makalawa na ang JAGC anniversary," Emily uttered.

"Finishing touches na lang naman, all figures were confirmed, all we need to work on is the sequence of the presentation," Gabriel said.

"And for your information it is not that easy to do. Palibhasa hindi ikaw ang gumagawa ng presentation kaya feeling mo madali lang gawin," Emily complained.

"Don't tell me pag-tatalunan pa natin yan," Gabriel said.

"Malamang pagtalunan talaga natin, I came here with you because of that presentation and kapag hindi natin natapos ang presentation na yun today, walang magpapakasal," Emily firmly said.

"Hey, that is a personal stuff, wag mong isasali ang personal na buhay natin sa trabaho," Gabriel uttered.

"Try me, Boss Gab," Emily threatened and quickly walks to that door.

"Nag-uusap pa tayo, where are you going?" Gabriel exclaimed.

"To the place where you cannot see me unless you work with me on that presentation," Emily replied before she exited the room.

Emily quickly walks to her and as soon as she closes the door her phone vibrate for a call from Gabriel. She hits the answer button but did not utter a word, "Fine, let's start working on that presentation over breakfast. We will make sure to finish that before lunch time, I want to explore the place with you. I love you," Gabriel said from the other line before he hangs up and did not wait for Emily to reply.

Emily laughs at that gesture of Gabriel, he may sounds really authoritative but she finds it really sweet. So, she hurried getting her laptop and other work stuff as she does not want Gabriel to change his mind.
