17 - Bad Mood

Gabriel is tossing and turning in his bed while he waits for Lily's reply to his numerous messages sent two hours ago. None of those were seen since the last time he checks. This is the first time this happened, and he is beginning to worry that something bad might happen to his favorite wattpad author.

Meanwhile, Emily and Yago's dinner discussion turned out to be a getting to know you date. They talked about a lot of personal stuff and very few were discussed about the book cover design. Between the triplets, only with Gabriel that she feels uncomfortable. She gets along with Franco easily specially when they work for the annual magazine photoshoot. But among the siblings she wants to get close to Yago as she admires the basketball player since college.

She is still in cloud nine when Yago parked his car and assisted her getting out of the car. This may not be the date she dreamt of but for her, this is better than nothing at all.

"I hope you enjoy the night, Emily?" Yago asked while they walk up the stairs.

"Definitely, Yago," Emily replied, smiling widely.

"That's good. Ibig sabihin pwedeng maulit," Yago uttered.

"I don't see anything wrong with that," Emily said.

"Nice! Goodnight, Emily, thank you for a wonderful night," Yago said.

"Goodnight, Yago. Sweetdreams," Emily replied.

"Alam ba ni Lolo that the two of you are going out?" Then heard someone asked.

"Kuya," Yago said. "Si Lolo ang nagsuggest na i-treat ko naman si Emily for dinner," he further said.

"Alam kasi ni Chairman na sobrang fan ako ni Yago kaya nag-request sya kay Yago na ilibre nya ako ng dinner, Boss Gab," Emily seconded.

You don't have to explain, I only ask to make sure na alam ni Lolo ang ginagawa nyong dalawa, and it could be answered by a Yes or a No only," Gabriel uttered then quickly went down the stairs.

"Madaling tatanda yang kapatid mo, ang sungit lagi eh," Emily commented and Yago chuckles.

"Well sabi naman nila mabait yang si Kuya, and I wish makita ko yung side nay un sa kanya," Yago meaningfully uttered.

"Hindi mo pa ba nakikita yung side na yon ni Boss Gab?" Emily asked.

"Ikaw ba nakita mo na ang side na yun ni Kuya?" Yago asked and Emily shook her head, naughtily smiling. "Me, too, to think three years na akong nakatira dito," he added.

"Wag tayong mawalan ng pag-asa," Emily uttered, chuckling.

"I agree, wag tayong mawalang ng pag-asa," Yago said and they both laugh. "I really had a great time. Let's do this again, Emily," Yago said.

"Okay," Emily briefly uttered.

"Really? Pwede ulit this weekend?" Yago asked.

"Grabe ka, uuwi ako ng Bulacan sa weekend," Emily replied.

"That is even better, ihahatid kita sa Bulacan para makilala ko naman ang parents mo," Yago said.

"Alam mo, itulog mo na lang muna yan, siguradong bukas iba na ang schedule mo," Emily said.

"As far as I know, clear naman ang schedule ko this weekend. Unless you accept my offer na ihatid kita sa Bulacan," Yago uttered.

"Can I think about it?" Emily asked.

"Of course, you can, goodnight na talaga at magpahinga ka na," Yago said. "Wag kang mag-alala uunahin kong gawin yung design ng book cover mo," he then whispered.
