Since Elizabeth's training has ended, the Ricardos and Alcaraz' agreed to have lunch at the latter's mansion the weekend after her training and the triplets are present as demanded by their grandfather.
Don Lino got surprised seeing his eldest granddaughter dinning with them this time. But as a typical old fashioned grandfather, he supressed his desire to run and hug his Emily despite missing her very much. But he is very grateful to God for bringing his granddaughter to the Alcaraz as he knows they will protect her in all aspects.
He was very happy when Elizabeth told him about Gabriel and Emily's engagement not because his and his best friend's dream is coming to reality but because he knows that Gabriel is a good person who could take care of Emily and make her happy.
Like the usual, the two old men talk about business over lunch, while the grandchildren choose to just listen to them. They are having their dessert when Lolo Lino asked Gabriel, "So how was Elizabeth's training, Gabriel? Did my granddaughter gave you a hardtime?"
"Yes, she certainly did, Lolo Lino," Gabriel quickly uttered.
"Really, mukhang kinakabahan ako ah. Postponed ba ang retirement ko, Gabriel?" Don Lino asked.
Gabriel paused for a moment and Elizabeth is holding her breath while waiting for what Gabriel is about to say, "Despite na pinahirapan ako ni Elizabeth, Lolo Lino, she still fascinates me. The case studies I gave her are all impressive. She even can handle two businesses at the same time. She can manage her restaurant while she runs the shipping business. Her time management skill is unbelievable like her sister," Gabriel uttered.
Elizabeth could not believe that Gabriel would not give in to her request despite his marriage to Emily is at stake. "I hope you know the consequences of what you said, Gabriel," Elizabeth seriously uttered.
"I know, Elizabeth, but I still choose to be truthful because that is the right thing to do," Gabriel said. "I'll just find other ways to get your nod about me, marrying your sister," he added.
"I believe in you, Gabriel because I see that in Elizabeth, too. I just need someone to tell her about her strength, kasi kung ako ang magsasabi siguradong hindi sya maniniwala sa akin. Sasabihin nyan binobola ko sya para hawakan nya ang negosyo ko," Don Lino declared.
"Eh tutoo naman na binobola mo ako, Lolo, para i-manage ko ang shipping line business mo," Elizabeth said.
"I admit, I may be exaggerating sometimes, but I am telling the truth," Don Lino said.
"Not only sometimes, Lolo, but all the time," Elizabeth commented.
"Pero kay Gabriel na nanggaling na tutoo ang mga sinasabi ko," Don Lino said.
"At naniwala ka naman kay Gabriel, eh gumaganti lang yan sa akin kasi pinasakit ko ang ulo nya during my training," Elizabeth uttered.
"That is not true. Before this talk happens, you told me to tell you honestly my assessment. And I told you exactly what I am telling Lolo Lino now," Gabriel said.
"At since, kaya mo namang maghandle ng dalawang business at the same time, perhaps you can start working in the shipping business while you are establishing your restaurants. Just let me know how much it would cost you, ako na ang bahala," Don Lino said.
"Pero Lolo, ayoko talagang mag-manage ng shipping business mo. Kapag dalawang business ang hinawakan ko, hindi na ako makakapag-travel, much more baka mapabayaan ko ang cooking school," Elizabeth complained.
"You can still travel even you are managing two businesses, sabi nga ni Gabriel, your time management skill is unbelievable anong problema mo?" Don Lino said.
