Gabriel and Emily had a very pleasant lunch with Charry and her husband, with a short period of time, Emily and Charry became instant bestfriends as Emily found an ally in Charry against Gabriel. Emily learned that it is Gabriel who bridges for Edmond to Charry. Charry and Gabriel were schoolmates. And they met Edmond in the same school where they took up their MBA.

Emily finds the couple very charming and she could not help herself to see her and Gabriel like Charry and Edmond in the future. It was love at first sight according to Edmond and Emily sees how Gabriel's eyes sparkled when Edmond said it, and it gives Emily giddiness, thinking that it was the same with Gabriel to her.

Like her parents, Emily finds Charry as a warm and sweet lady, too, but she sees strong confidence in her new found friend which she easily admired.

Contrary to her earlier demand, Gabriel had a hardtime for her and Charry to let go of each other as the two ladies had a lot of things to talk about, and books is on top of their list. Charry and Emily only let go of each other when Edmond promised them that they will attend the JAGC's anniversary celebration the next day and Gabriel commits a private air ride for the couple so they don't need to travel another more than ten hours by land to going to Manila.

Gabriel is enjoying Emily's clinginess on their way to Alcaraz mansion from the hangar and she never stops talking about what Charry and she have talked about. "Finally, the issue about Charry is over," is in Gabriel's thought. He could already concentrate on working to get Elizabeth's nod for him and Emily to get married.

"Pwede bang ako ang maghatid sa iyo sa Bulacan on Sunday?" Gabriel asked.

"Wag na, mapapagod ka pa, yun na nga lang halos ang ginagawa ng driver ni Mr. Chairman, aagawan mo pa ng trabaho," Emily said.

"I would like to talk to your Tatay Ador and Nanay Anna," Gabriel said.

"Why do you want to talk to them?" Emily asked.

"Hihingin ko kamay mo," Gabriel quickly replied.

"Hoy Mr. Alcaraz, baka nakakalimutan mo kailangan mo pang mapa-oo si Lizzie," Emily said.

"I know that, I'l just try my luck na baka pwede nila akong tulungan sa kapatid mo," Gabriel honestly uttered.

"You are already on the right track when you said that making peace with your brother is a sure win of my sister's nod, what happen to that strategy?" Emily said.

"I don't want to do it half-heartedly. I want to sincerely do it but I just can't now, masyadong malalim ang pinag-ugatan ng issue namin ni Yago, ang hirap umahon," Gabriel said.

"You can share it to me if you like ... only if you like. Baka mabawasan ang bigat ng pakiramdam mo if you let it out," Emily said. Gabriel took a deep sigh and choose to remain mum and Emily understands that he is not yet ready to talk about his issue with his brother. "You don't need to tell me if you are not yet ready. Basta always remember na nandito lang ako at ready na makinig sa iyo kapag handa ka nang pag-usapan yan," she further said.

"I don't want you to judge me," Gabriel said.

"I wil not do that, kasi na-judge na kita matagal na," Emily declared and Gabriel throws her a sharp stare. "But, I realized I was wrong and I choose to understand you kahit hindi ko alam ano ang pinanggagalingan ng grudges mo sa kapatid mo. Therefore, if you think Tatay and Nanay can help you get my sister's nod, then pumapayag na akong ihatid mo ako sa Bulacan on Sunday to talk to them," she explained.

"Thank you for understanding, my beautiful writer," Gabriel said then planted a sweet kiss on Emily's forehead.

"You're welcome," Emily replied and Gabriel just remained.
