In the morning, Don Jose is already at the breakfast table when Gabriel came. "Good morning, Lolo," he greeted.
"Good morning, hijo," Don Jose greeted back. "Mukhang sobrang busy ng mga apo ko kagabi ah, nauna pa akong umuwi sa inyo eh," he commented.
"Good morning," they suddenly heard Yago greeted.
"Good morning," Don Jose and Gabriel greeted back.
"Welcome back, Lolo," Yago said.
"Thank you, Santiago," Don Jose replied.
"How was your trip, Lolo?" Gabriel asked.
"We were able convince new investors for our new business venture," Don Jose proudly uttered.
"Congratulations, Lolo," Yago said.
"Thank you, hijo," Don Jose uttered, smiling.
"What new business venture is that, Lolo?" Gabriel asked.
"Lino and I will build a small school, something like a learning center," Don Jose said.
"A school? Mukhang mahirap yang iniisip nyo, Lolo. Mahirap mag-manage ng academe," Gabriel commented.
"We are not building an academe. A learning center lang that will offer short courses in cooking, baking and other skills," Don Jose replied.
"Parang yung cooking school lang ni Elizabeth yan eh," Gabriel commented.
"This is bigger than Elizabeth's cooking school. Dito, we will offer different short courses, parang yung mga vocational courses," Don Jose explained.
"I thought your hands are already full, Lolo, tapos magtatayo ka pa ng bagong business. Baka naman kung mapaano ka na nyan," Yago commented.
"Then start helping us, para hindi ka mag-alala sa health ni Lolo," Gabriel commented but Yago prefers not to answer back.
"I think you could help us with this new venture, Yago," Don Jose said.
"Lolo, you know my basketball career is my priority," Yago said.
"I know that, pero hindi naman forever ang basketball career. I was just thinking that you may want to open a basketball clinic," Don Jose said. "Pag-isipan mo, hijo. Wala namang masama if you start planning for your retirement this early, kahit bata ka pa. I will also ask Franco, baka gusto nyang mag-open ng photography class," the old man added.
"This is unusual, tulog pa ba si Emily?" Don Jose asked Ms. Sonia.
"Pababa na po siguro, Mr. Chairman," Ms. Sonia replied.
"I agree, Lolo, isang himala na nauna pa ako kay Emily sa breakfast today," Franco suddenly uttered. "Good morning, Lolo. Good morning, brothers," Franco vibrantly uttered.
Gabriel suppressed himself in commenting on Franco's vibrant mood. When Emily saw him holding hands with Grace the othee night, they choose to give them their privacy. Since they saw Franco and Grace together, his plan to tell Emily about Riel was set aside because Emily did not stop talking about how glad she is that Franco and Grace are most probably in a romantic relationship. Gabriel knows how close Emily is with Grace and Franco and he could not blame her to be excited on this development about his brother and JACP's chief-editor.
"Good morning," the gentlemen heard Emily greeted.
"Hulaan ko, may series kang pinagpuyatan kaya late ka nang nagising," Franco commented.
"Na-excite lang ako, kaya hindi ako nakatulog agad. Sobrang natuwa kasi ako sa nalaman ko last night," Emily said while she occupies the seat beside Yago.
