70 - Pure Intention

Immediately after breakfast, Gabriel and Emily they travel going to Bulacan to talk to Emily's guardians. They both know that they are in their right age to decide for themselves when it comes to their romantic relationships stuff.

But as what Gabriel said, he wants to give respect to the couple who also molds Emily into a beautiful, smart and kind hearted lady as she is now because that's what she deserves even it would mean swallowing his pride and sincerely accepts his brother's offer to help get Lizzie's approval.

"Kanina ka pa tahimik, are you all right?" he heard his fiancée uttered.

"I'm fine, may iniisip lang," Gabriel replied.

"Dahil ba sa pupuntahan natin today, o dahil sa nangyari kaninang breakfast," Emily said.

"Should I be scared going to your place to talk to your Tatay and Nanay?" Gabriel asked in reply.

"Tatay and Nanay knows that I like you," Emily replied and Gabriel smiles because of giddiness. "Asus, kilig na kilig ka, Boss Gab," she commented, chuckling.

"Hayaan mo na ako," Gabriel said, smiling sweet while Emily does not stop laughing.

"Is this about Yago's offer to help you?" Emily asked.

"Do you think he is serious about his offer?" Gabriel asked.

Emily gives him a sweet smile, then she cupped his face and uttered, "I know he is sincere, but remember, nasa sa iyo pa rin kung tatanggapin mo yung offer nya. Honestly, hindi ko alam why he offered to help you get Lizzie's nod despite the wall between you and him."

"What do you think, should I accept it?" Gabriel asked.

"Only if you think that there will be no awkwardness between the two of you," Emily replied. "Ikaw naman ang tatanungin ko, do you find sincerity in his offer?" she asked.

"Actually, I do," Gabriel honestly replied.

"I'm glad to hear that," Emily said then Gabriel pulls her towards him wraps his arms around her. "I can sense that you want to open your door for you Yago, Riel. And that is a good start, it may not be now but I know malapit na because the fact that you consider accepting his offer, it only means that you, too, is breaking that wall," Emily said while she gently taps Gabriel's hand.

"And that is because of you," Gabriel whisphered before he kisses Emily's temple.

"Wala naman akong ginawa, nakinig lang ako sa iyo,"Emily said.

"Which is exactly what I need," Gabriel said. "Let out all those frustrations ko kay Papa, mas magaang sa pakiramdam. Thank you for not judging me, my beautiful writer. You have no idea how much it means to me," he added while he tightly hugs her.

"I am happy to hear that," Emily said.

"I love you," Gabriel then sweetly whispered.

"Ako rin." Emily replied, smiling. "Ready ka na ba sa face-off nyo ni Tatay?" she asked, chuckling.

"Nung isang linggo pa, habang nasa North Carolina ako," Gabriel replied, bragging.

"Wow, confident si Boss Gab," Emily uttered.

"And why not, my intention to marry you is pure," Gabriel declared.

"Naku, payong kapatid, Boss Gab, wag mong inglisin si Tatay, baka dumugo ang ilong. Imbes na maayos ang lahat eh magkaproblema pa tayo," Emily warned.

"I'll keep that in mind but only that 'wag inglisin si Tatay' part not the 'payong kapatid', ayokong maging kapatid ka, ang gusto ko maging asawa kita," Gabriel said.
