30 - Lily and Lizzie

Emily hugs Elizabeth back as she missed her sister so much. Since she left her with their grandfather, she only sees her during her cooking show. She was twenty-one years old when she left the Ricardo Mansion. After graduation, Don Lino arranged her to marry the son of his business partner. She did not like the idea, so she decided to run away and goes back to their Tatay Ador and Nanay Anna who helped their mother took care of her and Elizabeth.

Emily and Elizabeth grow up with the couple Ador and Anna. Ador is their mother's brother who helped them hide from their father and grandfather. Their mother Arlene died when they were already in college. And their grandfather was able find them and threatened the couple Ador and Anna of suing them if they will not give Emily and Elizabeth to him.

The sisters had no choice but to live with their strict grandfather and sick father. Only after a few months of being together, their father died of cancer.

"Kamusta sila Tatay at Nanay?" Elizabeth asked.

"Mabuti naman sila, natutuwa sila sa achievements mo. Nami-miss na daw ni Tatay Ador ang little Lizzie nya," Emily replied.

"Yes, I understand, Lizzie, tama lang naman na nasa poder ka ni Don Lino. Tingnan mo nga, natupad mo na ang pangarap mong maging famous na Chef at makapagtravel around the world. Don't worry hindi galit si Nanay at Tatay sa iyo, they understand," Emily uttered.

"Ayaw mo na ba talagang bumalik sa mansion, Ate?" Elizabeth asked.

"Masaya na akong kasama si Nanay at Tatay," Emily uttered.

"Okay lang sa iyo na employee ka, wherein may mas magandang position na naghihintay sa iyo sa Ricardo Shipping," Elizabeth asked.

"Para sa iyo na ang magandang position na yun, hindi yung talaga para sa akin," Emily said.

"Pero, Ate, ikaw ang mas matalino sa ating dalawa, mas mahahawakan mo nang tama ang business ni Lolo kesa sa akin," Elizabeth uttered.

"As I said, hayaan mo na ako," Emily said.

"It seems hindi alam ng mga Alcaraz ang tutoong connection natin," Elizabeth commented.

"Napansin ko rin yan, but I don't believe na hindi alam ni Mr. Chairman na apo ako ng matalik nyang kaibigan," Emily said.

"Possible yan, Ate, pero bakit hindi nya ipinaalam sa iyo na kilala nya si Lolo Lino?" Elizabeth asked.

"Hindi ko alam, siguro nung nag-apply ako sa kanya, hindi sumagi sa isip nya na apo ako ng bestfriend nya. Fernandez pa rin kasi ang ginagamit kong apelyido," Emily said.

"Have you forgiven Lolo?" Elizabeth asked.

"After the scandal nung dapat na papakasalan mo, I'm sure nahimasmasan na yang si Lolo," Elizabeth uttered. "I know, he missed you, Ate. Pero alam mo naman ang houserules sa mansion, kapag ikaw ang kusang umalis, dapat matuto kang bumalik," she added.
