Gabriel left before ten in the morning, leaving Elizabeth alone with Emily. For him it will be a breather for something irritating that he must endure for the coming days. Had he known that this training will be a pain in his neck, he could have been turned down the request even if his Lolo Jose gets mad at him.

He thanks God for Emily's existence and he is serious about getting her as soon as his grandfather fired her. But he knows that it is close to impossible as the chairman is very fond of her executive assistant.

Meanwhile, Emiy started reprimanding her sister on her behavior earlier. For her, Elizabeth's action is unacceptable. Perhaps, Gabriel is right, her sister needs to learn proper office decorum first.

"You don't treat your trainor like that," Emily commented as soon as she is certain that Gabriel already left.

"What did I do? He asked and I answer truthfully. Di ba sabi ni Mama masamang magsinungaling," Elizabeth replied.

"I understand, but your discussion with Boss Gab earlier only shows you are not interested being trained. And I agree with him, kung hindi ka interesado dapat hindi pa na pumayag, kasi hindi lang oras mo ang nasasayang, pati rin ang oras ni Boss Gab. Also, you should keep in mind na hindi ordinaryong tao ang iniistorbo ni Lolo para lang sa training mo sa negosyo. Boss Gab has a lot in his plate. Hindi lang talaga sya maka-hindi kay Lolo Lino at kay Mr. Chairman in accommodating you," Emily lengthy said.

"Alam ko na yan, Ate. Pinagtalunan na namin yan ni Gabriel when we had lunch here sa mansion. But I think I have an idea, Ate. Why don't you go back to the mansion and handle to shipping business? Imagine, walang oras na masasayang sa amin para sa training ko," Elizabeth said.

"Hindi ako kasali sa usapan nyo kaya wag mo akong idamay dyan," Emily said.

"But all of this are happening because you left," Elizabeth said.

"I just value my independence, Lizzie," Emily answered.

"That was why you choose to leave me alone with Lolo Lino," Elizabeth replied.

"Ang layo na nang narating ng usapan natin, Lizzie. Ang point ko lang naman, since pumayag ka na rin naman sa training na 'to, umakto ka naman nang tama. Stop being stubborn and follow whatever Gabriel tells you to do. If he tells you to read these manuals, then read these manuals regardless if these bores you or not," Emily replied.

"Why will I do that, I am actually pissing him off," Elizabeth said.

"And why are you doing that? Can you explain it to me further please? Hindi ko maintindihan ang contradicting statement mo," Emily asked despite knowing Elizabeth's reason.

"Para umayaw sya, at sabihin nya kay Lolo that I am hopeless at babagsak ang negosyo ni Lolo kung ako ang magha-handle. Since merong willing na mag-train sa akin to handle the business Lolo's hope gets intact. You know how insistent Lolo is, Ate. And no one between you and me can say it straight to him. Mas maniniwala sya sa sasabihin ng ibang tao kesa sa sasabihin nating dalawa," Elizabeth explained.

"What happen to the compromise?" Emily asked.

"Ate, ang usapan namin ni Lolo, I will only give it a try, there is no confirmation that I will handle the shipping business," Elizabeth said.

"Grabe for four years na kayong dalawa lang ni Don Lino ang mag-kasama, hanggang ngayon hindi mo pa rin sya kilala. There is no such thing as compromise to the old man. He will not enter a battle if he is not certain that he will win. For all you know he has a different agenda. Don't you remember, ganyan din ang ginawa nya sa akin noon. He asked me to help the son of his business partner on his studies. For two years naging tutor ako nang mokong na yon. Only to find out na ipapakasal nya pala ako sa lalaking yun after we graduate in college. Perhaps, in this training he wants you and Gabriel to be comfortable with each other and eventually end up together," Emily said, and she felt a pinch in her heart after saying her last statement.

"What? No way that Gabriel and I will end up together. Can't you see, Ate, Gabriel is as boring as these company manuals in front of me," Elizabeth firmly uttered. "And with that realization, the more I will piss him off," she added.

"Spare Boss Gab, Lizzie. He is a good man, and he does not deserve to be treated like that. Hindi ba mas maganda kung alamin mo ang tutoong agenda ni Don Lino," Emily said.

"Tama ka, Ate, I have to know Lolo's real agenda," Elizabeth said.

"And while you do that, I suggest you behave on your training at wag mo nang pahirapan ang taong wala namang kinalaman dito. Boss Gab has been running DBS for years already, malay mo marami kang mapulot sa kanya about running a business not necessarily the shipping business. Alalahanin mo, may cooking school ka at nagbabalak ka pang magtayo ng restaurant," Emily said.

"You have a point there, Ate," Elizabeth said.

"Also, do not call me Ate here, hindi nila alam kung ano tayo sa isa't-isa," Emily said.

"Wala namang masama kung malaman nilang magkapatid tayo eh," Elizabeth said.

"Not now, Lizzie, this is not the right time for the triplets to know," Emily said.

"Yung triplets lang ba talaga, Ate? How about Lolo Jo?" Elizabeth asked.

"Do you honestly think that he does not know who I am?" Emily said. "He will not give me these special priviledges if he does not know my connection to Don Lino. I wonder what the two old men's agenda on me is," Emily said.

"Why can these old men leave us alone? Kung napapasunod ni Lolo Jo ang mga apo nya, pwes ibahin nya ang mga apo ni Lolo Lino," Elizabeth said. "Why can't they just let us live our lives how we wanted to," she further said.

"Perhaps because they want to protect their billions," Emily uttered.

"Protecting their billions at the expense of their grandchildren is a total bullshit, Ate," Elizabeth said.

"We should understand that they work hard for their billions. It is just right to protect those," Emily said.

"Alam mo tama si Yago eh. When we were still together, I was trying so hard to convince him to live with his siblings and grandfather, sabi nya malamang mahirapan sya kasi siguradong de numero ang kilos nya. Siguro Lolo's attention was on you then kaya wala akong pressure sa kanya. But since you left ramdam na ramdam ko ang kilos na de numero, Ate," Elizabeth said.

"But you survive and still surviving," Emily said. "Mas matapang ka kesa sa akin," she further commented.

"But choosing a husband for me is a different story, Ate. Malamang mag-alsa balutan din ako kagaya mo. I don't mind na pakialaman ni Lolo sa ibang bagay, but not choosing the man I will be with for the rest of my life," Elizabeth said.

"Gabriel is a good man," Emily uttered.

"But I don't like him," Elizabeth said.

"You don't like him because you still like Yago," Emily commented.

"He does not like me anymore, Ate. He already likes you. I saw that earlier," Eizabeth said.

"You really are something else, Ate. Earlier during breakfast, I saw how Yago and Gabriel get their eyes on you. Parang wala silang ibang nakikita kundi ikaw lang," Elizabeth commented.

"Akala mo lang yun, they are just used on having breakfast with me, wag mong bigyan nang malisya." Emily said.

"Okay, sabi mo eh," Elizabeth said then shrugs off her shoulder.

"Ang mabuti pa ituloy mo na lang na basahin yung mga company manuals para bukas may mapag-usapan naman kayo ni Boss Gabriel," Emily said, and Elizabeth got no choice but to abide by her sister.

There was a long silence when Emily suddenly asked, "Do you really think, Boss Gab likes me?" and she gains a wide smile from her sister.
