Adventures in Pupsitting prt 5

Jenny sighs as she looked over to Lola, "I don't know but you better answer it." Jenny told Lola who sighed, " Fine. " Lola said picking up the phone. " Hello." Lola asked nervously, as she could tell that Georgie knew something was up.

"Hey Lola what are you doing in my apartment?" Georgie questioned the younger girl, as she had noticed the familiar wall paper. And had no idea why Lola was at her small home.

Hey Georgie, and umm... We were just here to pick up some more of Pumpkin and I see you don't have anymore." So we were just leaving Lola said awkwardly. Inwardly slapping herself for sounding so unbelievable.

Georgie rolls her eyes and sighs, "I spend my life listening to people talk. I can tell when you're lying, especially since both of you are horrible at it. Now where is my dog? " Georgie asked sweetly, but you could hear faint venom in the undertones of her question.

Lola gulped as she knew she couldn't lie about this anymore since Georgie seemed to already know what was going on. Neither girl answered, until they heard Georgie sigh. "She got out didn't she?" Georgie asked as kindly as possible, but you could still here venom lingering in the undertones of her voice.

Lola and Jenny both looked shock, "How did you know that we didn't say anything?" Jenny asks confused and surprised.

" I have lived with that dog. I know what she needs because I can read her expression. Just like I'm reading yours right now."  Georgie explained as she grabbed her bookbag. "I'm on my way if anyone knows her it's me." Georgie told the two younger girls.

"But what about your friends?" Lola asked Georgie who sighs, " They're just my friends Pumpkin is my family, and I know Tessa and Reed understand that. I will be home in half and hour maybe less." Georgie told the two girls as she hangs up.

" Well she didn't sound like she was going to kill you that's a good sign." Jenny told Lola who groaned, " She's to worried about Pumpkin right now. I'll definitely be dead once we find her though." Lola told Jenny who nodded "Where do you think she went?" Jenny asked Lola who groans again, "I have no idea I'm not a dog." Lola said as she sat up on the couch.

After hearing that they had lost her dog Georgie had gotten the keys, and was now making her way to her home making a few stops at where she knew Pumpkin might hide. All of them were dead ends though as Pumpkin was not any where to be found, before she drove back to her apartment though she had an idea.

Pumpkin had always been a smart dog and seemed to know most english words. Maybe if she knew Jenny and Lola were at her apartment. Pumpkin had went to theirs. It was a long shot, but it wouldn't be the craziest place Pumpkin could go either.

Meanwhile both Pumpkin and Diamond had managed to stop the Alexa and finally managed to open the fridge. Pumpkin looked inside the fridge confused, "What's all this junk and where are the carrots? " Pumpkin questioned as she knew at her home the carrots were always in the fridge right by the milk, but this fridge was total mess, and Pumpkin did not know half of the things that were in there.

Diamond shrugged, "Who know, but I think anything in there would be contaminated. I mean this thing is dirtier than my alleyway and that's telling you something. " Diamond told the dog with sas as she jumped down from the counter top, and slipped on the floor as she forgot how wet the floor was from the water. Making Pumpkin hold back giggles as she shut the fridge with her paw, and walked over to the carpeted living area.

Diamond rolled her eyes, "That was not funny." She growled playfully as Pumpkin laughed, "Yes it was the always graceful Diamond slips, and falls. Floor 1 Diamond Zilch." Pumpkin described like a basketball announcer would. Making Diamond roll her eyes again, before tackling the pup, and saying, "Now it's Diamond 1 and Pumpkin zilch."  Pumpkin growled playfully at hearing this, "Oh your on."  she said, as they continued to play fight.

A few minutes later they are both sprawled out on the floor panting, that is until they hear a car door close. Diamond quickly got up and looked down through the window. "Pumpkin your owner is here." Diamond said warning as Pumpkin quickly got up, "What she wasn't supposed to be home until tommorow! Diamond you got to help me clean myself up." Pumpkin said hurriedly as they went over to the refrigerator and turned on the water letting the rest of the mud slip off of Pumpkin's fur.

Afterwards Pumpkin quickly shakes, and looks to the cat, "You got to get out of here Diamond otherwise you'll get in trouble." Pumpkin barked as Diamond nodded and headed for the window nudging it open. " Alright I'm out of her leashed dog! Behave!' Diamond said flicking her tail before jumping over to a tree.

Pumpkin could now hear Georgie's feet coming down the hallway. Pumpkin quickly jumped on the couch lying down, looking as innocent as possible. Considering she had just had the most fun in her life.

Pumpkin saw Georgie peek through the door looking at the little mess she created, and hearing Georgie sighs, before looking to the couch. Where Pumpkin just innocently wagged her tail as if nothing happen.

Georgie sighs in relief at seeing her dog safe on the couch; wagging her tail a bit to innocently as there was a small mess in the apartment. Georgie rolled her eyes at the dog before calling out to her. "Hey Pumpkin stop looking so innocent I knew you made this mess Diva Dog, but I'm going to let Lola handle this since she is the one who let you escape. Now come on let's go, I have to return this car to Tessa and Reed, and I don't care if I have to sleep in the car with you I'm not going to let Lola pup sit you righ now."  Georgie told the pup playfully, and tiredly.

Pumpkin wagged her tail as she jumped off the couch, and went over to Georgie. Pumpkin then follows her to the car. It had been a fun day for Pumpkin, and Pumpkin loves going on adventures, but only when they are  a few hours long, and she gets to return home before Georgie even notices, as she enjoyed being her pet to much.

Pumpkin sighs tiredly once  she was in the car, and lied down on the backseat tired from the day before and calmed by Georgie's presence, but her head perked up when she heard Georgie talking to Lola about it.

"Yeah Lola I found her at your apartment, and have fun cleaning up the mess she made there. And yeah you're right you aren't watching Pumpkin again goodnight." Georgie said quickly hanging up the phone as she continued to drive. To the hotel Tessa and Reed were staying at.
