April's Adventure in Pupsitting prt 1

Alright April, I'm trusting you to take care of Pumpkin better than your doppelganger does. " Georgie told April who looked confused, " My what?! April asked confused, as Georgie just shook her head, "Nevermind anyways here's the list of what you need to do, and here's the list of commands she knows. Do not let her escape, which trust me that's easier said than done." Pumpkin heard Georgie said. As once again something came up in Georgie schedule and again she had to leave Pumpkin in the care of someone else. And after her ear got torn Georgie kept her word and limited Pumpkin's time with Lola

Pumpkin groans as she sees it's one of the ladies who looks like Tessa, but it wasn't Tessa and it definitely wasn't Lola so she was guessing it was April. "Seriously another pupsitter. Yeah I'm out what adventure should I go on today?" Pumpkin asked herself as she continues to lie on the bed. Thinking of things that she and Diamond and maybe Treasure could do.

But what she really had to do is plan her escape. April was the complete opposite of Lola and was to strict for Pumpkin's liking. Even just meeting her the few times after work hours she could tell that she was not going to be a fun pupsitter. She was snapped out of her thought by April's voice, "Alright listen here pup I'm in charge. No running off alright." Pumpkin cocked her head, "Make me!" Pumpkin barked as this was her house and she was going out if she wanted to. The question was how.

Pumpkin looked around her home looking for any possible way out, but there was no way out. Pumpkin sighed lying her head back down. She had no idea how she would get out, because April had taken the scarf off the door, and she didn't have Diamond to help her. She then realized that the small air vent under the bed was unscrewed, and it was just big enough for her to slip through. She would have to wait for the perfect moment, so April wouldn't catch her though.

Pumpkin jumped down to the floor pretending to sleep on the carpet closet to the air vent under the bed. As soon as April turned her back Pumpkin quickly yet quietly scrambled under the bed nudging the air vent so she could get through before pulling it back into place.

Pumpkin started smelling her way towards the back entrance which was two slides and a left turn from where she was at now. "I can't believe that actually worked adventure time!!" Pumpkin says to herself as she quickly crawls through the passageway as she continued her journey to freedom.

April turned back around to see Pumpkin missing, "Pumpkin where are you girl." She asks as she looks around the one room apartment, not seeing any sign of the dog. "Great how did she even get out." April asks herself as she looks around for anyway out but not seeing any as Pumpkin had covered it back up.

Pumpkin had finally managed to get to the back entrance and quickly sprinted in to the greenery that led to the sidewalk. April was looking out the window right when Pumpkin had run out into the open. "I'm not even going to ask how she got down there so quickly." April says groaning as she quickly takes the elevator down with a leash in her hand.

Pumpkin noticed this and smirked getting a fun idea. She waited for April to get closer to her before dashing off making sure to stay in her sight but also staying out of reach. "Catch me if you can slowpoke!" Pumpkin barked out challengingly as she sees a bus stop at the corner, "Perfect!" she says running full speed ahead and jumping into the bus hiding on the stairs as it drove off.

April groans seeing the dog drive right pass her, but she also noticed that the bus was heading for Broadway Park, and she knew she could make it there much faster than the city bus. So she got into her car

Fifteen minutes later Pumpkin walked off the bus and felt hands around her she squirmed as she felt a leash snap on her collar, she looked up to see April who was glaring at her, "I got you now ." April told the dog who shook her head, "You seriously think I don't know how to pop a leash! That is street dog 101!" Pumpkin barked as she used her back leg to unsnap the collar, and slowly trots off looking at April who gaped, but starts running after her.

"Now to find Diamond." Pumpkin thought as she looked back seeing that April was still following her, "But I need to lose April first. Otherwise Diamond will not come out of hiding." Pumpkin thought as she made a sharp turn to the right trying to get April off her trail. Now Pumpkin wished it was Lola watching her, as it was much easier to sneak out with her. Pumpkin looked back when she heard a command, "Pumpkin come!"

Pumpkin shook her head "Only Georgie, the hospital staff, hospital children, and Tessa. Get to tell me what to do you have no authority over me. " Pumpkin said challengingly running off again as she went into a more wooded area. Hoping she could lose April there, but unfortunately didn't, "Doesn't this lady ever tire just let me be, I promise I'll be back. Before dinner." Pumpkin groaned out as she continued to dodge trees. She could still hear April yelling commands but she stopped listening. Before finally finding her advantage point, "A drainage pipe!" Pumpkin barks out happily as she speed into it.

Pumpkin sighs in relief as she looks back to the edge of the pipe, "Bye, bye slowpoke see you at dinner." Pumpkin barked as she started running through the pipe going further underground. "Alright to Diamond's territory I go." Pumpkin barked out as she continued.
