"Stay here I got this!" Jade told Pumpkin and her friend; before dashing off again quickly calculating a plan to lose the animal control. "Alright this is risky but I really don't have much choice, so here goes nothing!" Jade barks out as she ran through one of the men's leg before quickly heading to somewhere she had the advantage the sewer.

Pumpkin and Diamond peek their heads out to not see anyone in sight. Jade must have been able to fend them off. As Pumpkin turned around again she saw Jade staring at her, making both animals jump, "Jade you really need to stop doing that or you're going to give me a heart attack." Pumpkin told the dog who looked down, " Sorry Pumpkin I just get so use to using my silent mode." Jade told her before helping the bigger dog and the slightly bigger cat out of the small hole.

Pumpkin wagged her tail, "It's fine. How did you know we were in trouble?" Pumpkin asked somewhat confused on how Jade could have gotten there so quickly. Jade sighs, "Please don't get mad at me for this, but I have been following you since you left." Jade told Pumpkin and Diamond quickly looking away. But turned around surprised to hear Diamond speak, "Wait really? You're amazing at it usually I would have smelled or heard someone trying to follow us." Diamond told the pug who didn't know what to think as just half an hour prior the same cat that was talking to her now, was about to bite her ear off.

Jade looked at Pumpkin trying to figure out what to say. Pumpkin just wagged her tail and nodded trying to encourage Jade to say something. "Well there was a special way that I was taught, and I guess being small has an advantage." Jade explained before turning the other direction to get home, but Diamond stopped her."Jade wait! I'm sorry for how I treated you earlier. I thought you wanted my land or to hurt Pumpkin, but I was wrong. Thank you for saving both of us." Diamond told the street dog who nodded.

" It was no problem, nothing that an Alpha wouldn't do for her pack. Now come on let's go get Pumpkin home before animal control gets back." Jade suggested as the other two nodded, " Agreed." The other two say in unison making all three laugh. As they continue walking, just enjoying the day even though they were in a hurry.

"Hey Jade why haven't I met you before I been all around New York and met a lot of animals, but I never saw you before." Diamond asked the black pug who quickly replied, "I am a night hunter. Since my fur is black it's easier for me to hunt at night. So when you're sleeping I'm usually awake and hunting something, plus I don't get out of the sewer much." Jade told the cat as she was starting to relax as the cat did not look like it was going to kill her anymore.

Pumpkin smiled wagging her tail as she saw her friends finally starting to relax, and talk to one another. Maybe they had more in common than any of them knew. They continued to walk getting to the park where they met another obstacle. This part of the park was under construction, and was blocked off.

"Great how are we going to get through." Pumpkin asked turning to the other two, and only seeing one. "Wait where did Jade go?" Pumpkin asked before hearing a bark from the other side of the blocked off path, "Over here there's a little hole in the wall I bet you could fit through it too." Jade told them motioning her head towards the hole she had went through.

Pumpkin wagged her tail, "Good eyes Jade that's perfect. Now let's go I still need to get home." Pumpkin says walking through the hole, but getting stuck as Diamond just jumped the fence. "Um guys some help I'm stuck. Both Diamond and Jade rolled their eyes. "Alright Pumpkin crouch down and wiggle like I'm doing." Jade says showing Pumpkin what she use to do when she got stuck.

Pumpkin did pathetically making Jade groan, "No, not like that you're doing it all wrong. Let's try again. Do what I do." Jade told Pumpkin again who nods as she watches Jade carefully as she tries again this time being successful. Pumpkin then shook her fur, "Thanks Jade! Now come on not much farther I promise." Pumpkin told them as the carefully walked past the work machine before running full throttle through almost the whole park before seeing Lola.

Pumpkin skids to a stop making the other two topple over her. "Ouch!"  all three said at the same time as Jade and Diamond got off of Pumpkin. "Why did we stop?" Jade asked confused shaking her fur out.

" That's my pup sitter she must be looking for me." Pumpkin tells the other two who nodded. Alright then I guess this is goodbye." Jade says sadly as she wanted and needed to get back the pack, her pack, and since her mission was completed she could go home.

Pumpkin tail dropped, before it starts wagging, "You can come home with me! I'm sure Georgie would adopt you!" Pumpkin says but is interupted by Diamond, "As much as I want to believe that. I don't Georgie has enough on her plate with just you getting in trouble. Plus I don't think you guys have a big enough apartment for Jade." Diamond tells Pumpkin who sighs knowing Diamond was right.

Jade nods her head in agreement with Diamond, "Diamond's right Pumpkin, and I can't just leave my pack hanging. I'm Alpha now, and I have to do my best to keep it safe now." Jade told Pumpkin sadly before remembering something. " If you ever miss me or need help howl. I will always help a friend in need." Jade told Pumpkin before looking to Diamond. "And if you ever need anything just come to my territory I guess. You two are both always welcome." Had told Diamond before looking at the drainage pipe that led to home.

Pumpkin hugged the smaller dog, and then Diamond shouldered her, "Your not to bad Jade I'll see ya around. Now if you two excuse I'm meeting with Treasure I'll see you both later." Diamond told them walking away as the two dogs looked at one another.

" Go to your pup sitter Pumpkin I'll see you soon."  Jade told Pumpkin who nods, " Alright thanks for the help Jade I'll see you later... Alpha." Pumpkin says playfully before both go their separate ways.

Pumpkin runs over to Lola barking happily as she tries to get her attention. Lola looked down seeing Pumpkin and looking surprised, "Pumpkin how'd you get back here?" Lola asked. Pumpkin barks and turns towards the drainage pipe where the black pug was standing. Lola looked over to where the Pumpkin was looking; seeing the dog, and grabbing her phone to take a photo of her. But before Lola could the dog had disappeared into the shadows.

Lola looked confused, "Wasn't a dog there just a minute ago?" Pumpkin nodded barking a laugh at her phantom of a friend. "Yep that's Jade for you. Now can we please go home I'm exhausted and starving." Pumpkin tells Lola who looks down.

"You know you really had us worried Pumpkin, and I really think Georgie is going to kill me this time." Lola told the dog who barks, " I don't think Georgie would kill anyone, but she'll definitely be mad." Pumpkin told Lola sadly as she sits down beside her. "Here Pumpkin this belongs to you. Now let's get you home." Lola says as she puts on Pumpkin pink and purple collar making Pumpkin bark happily. "Yes I had enough adventure for one day. Going home sounds great." Pumpkin says leading the way.
