"No Tessa I am not leaving Pumpkin with Lola again! I don't trust her on a regular day now it's calling for snow! My dog is white, and blends in with the snow. Lola let her escape last time, and couldn't find her! Pumpkin would be invisible this time! I even have to keep a magenta leash on her when I walk her in the snow!" Pumpkin heard Georgie exclaim. This conversation had been going for the past hour, and it was basically Georgie reiterating that one sentence.

From what Pumpkin had understood so far was. Both Tessa and Georgie had decided to meet up in California as it was the day before Valentine's day, but now. Georgie was having second thoughts as the forecast changed and said that they would have a lot of snow and ice, and the dogsitter she had hired baled on her due to that.

Once again Pumpkin's owner was at her last resort, and she wasn't taking it easily. As the first time Lola had lost Pumpkin and didn't tell Georgie until she figured out on her own. So Georgie still wasn't very happy about that.

Finally after a little bit of arguing, Georgie won the litte argument. Pumpkin wagged her tail when she saw she had Georgie's full attention. "Well it looks like we're going on a little flight Pumpkin." Pumpkin wagged her tail.

Pumpkin was still a little new to flying, and going to places that weren't her home, especially since this wasn't a normal flight. Since they didn't do it when they live in New York and the winters are warmer day could turn into a frigid temperature within minutes, and Georgie disliked getting stuck at the airport; while it snowed. Which was reasonable as Pumpkin didn't like the bustling place either. It was around thirty-nine degrees out and supposed to get a little warmer before the temperature drops again, and it starts snowing.

Pumpkin sensed Georgie was a little nervous about something before she said, "Alright Pumpkin I better change this ticket so you can fly with me, before it gets any colder " Georgie told Pumpkin who cocked her head, and licked Georgie's hand. Making her owner laugh. "Alright girl stay I'll be back in hopefully an hour." Georgie told Pumpkin who wagged her tail, as she watches Georgie leave.

An hour and a half later

"So much for a quick change."  Georgie thought to herself. Georgie had been at the airport for an hour and a half now and it was starting to snow. Georgie hated to admit it, but she might just get snowed in, and Pumpkin needs a pupsitter, especially since the snow was picking up, and she might not make it home before it gets to bad. Though she didn't want this she reached for her phone, and called  the least responsible person she knew.

Georgie sighs as she dials up Lola's number. "Hey Lola it's Georgie and I need a favor.".

Meanwhile Pumpkin was just hanging around. She had been told to stay so she was listening to her owner, besides it was to cold for her liking. That is until the landline started to ding.  Pumpkin quickly jumped on a chair, and onto the counter looking at the landline phone.

Pumpkin knew somewhat on how to answer the thing so she paws at it. Listening to what the odd voice has to say. "One automated voice message." The robot thing said before Pumpkin heard a familiar child's voice. "Hey Georgie, hey Pumpkin I know it is the day before Valentine's day, but I was wondering are you busy. Me and the other kids would love to see you." Elena a girl who was at the children's hospital asked. Pumpkin barked at the girl happily as the voicemail ended. She just had to go, but how? Georgie had taken the scarf off the door so she wouldn't be able to get out.

As if it was answered prayer though, the door opened. Pumpkin did not question it, and ran out the door to into the elevator that was just closing. "Alright let's make this kids day just like Georgie taught me to do." Pumpkin barked to herself excited for this adventure.

Lola had literally just gotten in Georgie's apartment, and she had already lost the dog! "Just great, if Georgie didn't kill me last time she definitely is this time since it is below freezing." Lola said to herself as she puts her bag of food down, and then started to head out to find Pumpkin again.

Pumpkin continued to run through the snow that was now basically pouring down. "Boy it's to cold for this."  Pumpkin told herself out loud until she heard a familiar feline voice, "What are you doing out here Leash Dog?" The very familiar voice of Diamond basically yelled as it was hard the hear with all the snow and wind.

"I'm going to the children's hospital. They requested me, and Georgie wasn't home so I am going by myself." Pumpkin told the cat proudly, but the cat just snickered, "Not in this weather you won't the children's hospital is still three miles away it would take us until dusk to get there with this weather. I mean I can barely even see my own paw." The cat informed Pumpkin who nods, and growls, " I have to try, and with a good scout like you I will make it in no time." Pumpkin told the cat as she continued walking, as Diamond groaned, but followed the scent of her white friend

"Pumpkin I'm not kidding! Usually at regular speed it would take us fifteen twenty minutes, but it is snowing harshly, and it doesn't help that you're a white dog" Diamond told her in a loud hiss. Pumpkin sighs she knew that Diamond was most likely right, but she loved those kids dearly, and just wanted to brighten their days. Right then Pumpkin heard a truck, "I have an idea let's hitchhike I used to do it all the time as a stray."

Diamond groaned, " Yeah, but was it blinding snow and icy when you did it?" Diamond asked the pup who shook her fur. "Nope but hey what's a little danger, you know I don't get out often." Pumpkin says as both got ready to jump, as Diamond knew she could not win this argument. "Fine but I'm coming with you I'm not letting you get hurt!" Diamond told the dog snarkily as both animals quickly leaped, and harshly landed in the flatbed of the truck.

Meanwhile Lola was forced to give up looking as the snow was falling to hard. "Well great she gives me a second chance, and I do worst then the first time! How in the heck am I going to find Pumpkin this time?" Lola asked herself as she looked out the window of Georgie's apartment. Before trying to watch TV, but it wasn't working due to the snow. "Just great now I don't have anything to do either." Lola groaned as she flops on the couch she would be in so much trouble when Georgie got back.
