A Bet Part 1

"Alright fine Lola you can watch them, but you know I will get you if anything  happens." Georgie  warns Lola as she is once again  in need of a pup sitter. She had been requested  at some kind of fundraiser and she was told not to bring her dogs. 

"Yeah, yeah I got it! I swear you and Evje give exactly the  same speech each time I am supposed to babysit  or pupsit." Lola says and Georgie  rolls her eyes.

"Because you're  irresponsible, trust me if I had a choice you would never be watching  them again. That's why Lily took her animals with her to Arizona." Georgie  says with a huff as she looks at her pups who were watching her amusedly.

"Well once again you don't just like Evie and don't  worry nothing  will happen this time I'm  sure of it!" Lola says and Georgie  sighs.

"Alright,  but if  anything does happen, which it will, please call me. Now I really have to go I'll see you pups later and please, please behave for Lola." Georgie  says as she starts to leave, hearing  Lola  slam the door behind  her. Georgie  just closes her eyes in frustration  before  leaving as she really had to go.

"Yay Pumpkin!" Mal says excitedly  and runs up to hug the white puppy. Mira just rolls her eyes and sits down on the floor. "We should go on a adventure!" Mal yells out excitedly,  but Mira stood in front of them.

"Oh no way, remember  last time!" Mira days with a slight  growl.  Pumpkin  just rolls her eyes at her cautious little sister.  She was so annoying sometimes.

"Come on Mira, take a risk for once! You know we love adventure and you always ruin it!" Pumpkin  barks. It's  Mira's turn to roll her eyes. 

"I do have fun, I just don't  like danger or possibly  getting killed! And who are you two to judge? You two always end up getting  Lola in trouble. I bet you two couldn't  stay out of trouble for the few hours we're here." Mira grumbled and Pumpkin  just crouches down looking  her younger sister in the eyes

"Well I bet you couldn't  live the rough and tumble life  yet have fun for a few hours alone, lest make a friend." Pumpkin  barks and Mira gets an idea to keep Mal and Pumpkin  out of trouble.

"Well let's make a bet I'll  go and hang out alone out in the rough and tumble. If you and Mal noth behave for Lola.. I'll  get Georgie  to buy both of you a new toy."  Mira says and Pumpkin  and Mal just look at her they couldn't  pass up a new toys 

"Okay, but what do you want if you do your side if the bet, which you won't?" Pumpkin  asks curiously. 

"Oh that's easy if I win you can't  do anything  stupid for a whole week." Mira barks and Pumpkin  nods that didn't  sound too bad especially  since Mira definitely  wouldn't win this bet.

Mira wanders the forest slowly  a few minutes  after. She had easily  managed to get out and away from Lola and headed to the woods as she liked it better than the actual street and Pumpkin, and she already was a little scared she loved to forest, but this was farther away from her usual spot and she was kind of lost.

Mira knew this was a bad idea, and she knew it the moment she heard wolves howling from afar. "Okay Mira, this is fine there is absolutely  no need to worry…" Mira mutters to herself looking  around before hearing thunder roll. "Okay nope! This was a horrible idea! Where am I? I need to get home!" Mira barks to herself before hearing pawsteps behind her and starts backing up. She was definitely  in trouble now a big hungry animal wanted to eat her.

"You're a long way from home leashed dog." A velvety voice growls from behind the small dog and Mira immediately gulps this was definitely  a bad idea. 

"It was a challenge by my sister. She is a half street dog and bet me I couldn't  survive  a day, or make any friends  before  the day is up and maybe she is right. I've  always been a leashed dog. I'm  not cut out for this! Please don't  eat me." Mira rambles out and the animal behind just laughs.

"I won't  hurt you pup, my name is Loyal of the Redwood Pack. What is your name?" The other animal questions and only then did Mira turn around  to see a stunning black wolf with a grey chest and striking  dark blue eyes.

"I'm  Mira. It's nice to meet you as long as you're not going to eat me." Mira says looking  at the wolf in awe, wolves really  were beautiful. "Your very beautiful Loyal." Loyal just wags her bushy tail slowly at the compliment.

"Aw thank you, and I'll  be your friend. I know everything  about this forest. Every rock, tree and flower in the forest. It is my home." Loyal barks and lets out a howl. Mira just wags her tail slowly. At least this wolf was friendly. 

"I don't  know, maybe I should go home. I'm not cut out for this. The woods are scary and it's getting  cloudy so it could start storming." Mira barks out and Loyal just looks at her curiously to her the forest was everything.  It was her home and it was magical. She wanted to show this human's  pet what being wild was all about. The woods weren't  scary, they were beautiful  in every way!

"There is so much more  to the woodland than that! Come on let me show you all the wonderful things that make this my home. Trust me you won't  regret it." The wolf says striding  off. Mira just cocks her head slowly before  timidly  following behind.  Maybe she would win this bet after all.
