Adventures of Pumpkin And Friends

Watching Fireworks

And I'm  back with my three original OCs that started all this. Anyways I hope you enjoy if you do vote and comment

"Yo Marshmallow dog what's  up?" Pumpkin  heard as she ran into one of the pack's old territory.  It was the voice she knew oh so well, but where was her friend? She finally looked up and saw the cats sitting on the edge of an elevated window keeping watch.

"Hey Diamond! Do you want to go watch the fireworks  tonight? They're not really my human's or Mira's things, but I was planning  to sneak out and watch them in real life instead of over the television." Pumpkin  rambled and the street cat rolled her eyes fondly.

"Yeah sure, you want Jade to come too? We're  technically not the alpha's anymore so we're  free." Diamond  says trying to quiet fear so she still looked tough in front of Pumpkin. The dog wags her tail excitedly at Jade, being mentioned It could be a girls night, just a fun night with just her two best friends sounded amazing. 

"Yeah, I would love for Jade to come! This is gonna be so much fun!" Pumpkin  barks and spins around  in a circle. Diamond  just watches the dog with amusement.

"Fun… yeah…' The cat says in her usual unamused manner, and Pumpkin  just looks up to her cat friend. That is before  Diamond  swiftly jumped down, landing  right in front of Pumpkin. 

"Come on you know it'll  be fun." Pumpkin  challenges  playfully and Diamond couldn't  help the smirk on her ginger face.

"Oh really I guess we'll see Leashed Dog." Diamond says flicking  her tail into Pumpkin face Pumpkin  just blows it out of her face with a huff and an eye roll at her friend.

"Come on let's  go get Jade and then do you want to hunt! I've  got the whole day!" Pumpkin  barks excitedly and Diamond  looks at her skeptically. 

"Are ya sure Georgie  won't  get mad?" Diamond  asks slowly and Pumpkin  nods enthusiastically and Diamond  rolls her eyes. She highly doubted Pumpkin  actually had permission,  but oh well. "Alright then, come on the pups will love to see ya." Diamond says and she can see Pumpkin start to  follow behind. 

……..

"And caught ya little fella!" Jade barks playfully grabbing  the scruff of a light red pup who squeals in delight as the black dog shakes him gently.

"Yo Jade, look who finally turned up after weeks of not visiting." Diamond says causing both Jade and Briar to look up.and wag their tails. Jade ran over to nuzzle their friend.

"Well hiya Whitey long time no see!" Jade says  and Pumpkin  smiles at the black dog who had once saved her from her half brother. That is before  Briar  tackled Pumpkin  down. Thorne's pups had grown do big even in the few weeks she was gone.

"Hey Briar, where's  your siblings?" Pumpkin  asks the eldest pup who wags his tail slowly at the mention  of his siblings who were all out at the moment.

"Moon is on a date with that Azad guy, Rosalyn  and Lucky are exploring  with Liberty, and Spectro went out with Dad and Atlas. Ooh and Tyson and Dove are out hunting with Mom and Missile." Briar says and Pumpkin  nods

"Oh, I  see so Jade got pup sitting  duty huh?" Pumpkin  asks and Jade shook her head looking  up the hill at the red Cavalier and black mini pinscher.

"Nope just playing with them, Blaze and Flame got up sitting duty today, but since Flame hasn't  been feeling that well I  offered  to play with him a bit." Jade says and Briar nods, and Pumpkin  wags her tail even more.

"That's  great, because  I was wonderin if you'd  like to watch the fireworks tonight with Diamond and I." Pumpkin  barks, cocking  her head in quiet questioning.

"Of course I will! After all, it's  been a while since only the three of us got to hang out together, so let's  do it!" Jade barks excitedly, her curly tail wagging and Pumpkin  just spins with excitement. 

"Yes!" Pumpkin  yips and Jade just snorts while Diamond  rolls her eyes fondly at the overexcited white dog.

The sky was getting  dark, and while the packs were settling in for the night, Jade, Diamond and Pumpkin were leaving  to start and find people shooting off fireworks or sparklers.

It took a little bit of walking, but they finally found a little household playing with sparklers that lightly  lit the darkening  sky. The real fireworks  would come later, but for now the three just enjoyed the crackle of sparklers.

Boom! The three animals that were resting on the highest hill just looked up quietly and looked at the sky seeing the burst of color in the air.

"Wow!" The three say in unison as they sit up on their haunches. There were all different  colors lighting the night sky. Anyone who was asleep would definitely  be awake now. The three friends did not care though as they watched the late night sky and sat  in awe. Just enjoying  the beauty and the time they got to spen together that day.

This friend's day was definitely a success in Pumpkin's  eyes. Although  she knew Georgie  would probably  be mad when she got home, it would  be worth it. Cause you can take the dog off of the street, but you can't  take the street out of the dog.

Pumpkin  lived in both worlds, sometimes  she wished she could choose just one, but on nights like these she didn't  regret a thing.

All good things have to end though so when the explosions  stop the three animals went their separate ways  promising to meet up again soon
