"Let's get this straight Lola. I still don't trust you with Pumpkin, but I really need to see my mother who is allergic to dogs, and once again my other two pupsitter baled or refused so could you watch Pumpkin for the weekend." Georgie asked over the phone as her mother had gotten sick, and had just got home from the hospital. So Georgie was going over for the weekend to help her.

Lola chuckles softly, "Don't worry Georgie I got her this time. I won't let her out of my sight." Lola tried to reassure Georgie. Georgie just sighs, as that was what Lola said everytime. Yet something always happened, whether that was running off or getting her ear torn. But yet again she was left with no choice, as April had immediately declined and the other one she had asked had an emergency to attend to.

"Alright I'll see you later today." Georgie says hanging up. Looking down at the white dog who was at her feet. "Well looks like Lola is pupsitting you again. Now Pumpkin if you don't listen to her please listen to me. Stay with her no running off this time alright." Georgie told Pumpkin who nodded.

Four hours later Pumpkin watches Georgie leave, and sighs. She was going to obey Georgie's command no matter how much she disliked it so she lied down on her bed. Waiting to see what Lola wanted to do.

Lola looked at Pumpkin in shock, surprised that Pumpkin hadn't tried anything yet, "What! Usually you have ran off by now. And I would be looking for you. What changed." Lola asked Pumpkin in disbelief. Still very shocked that the dog was just sitting there.

Pumpkin cocked her head confused, "Of course I am staying. Georgie told me to. Plus I think she resealed all my secret passageways anyway. So their is probably no way out anyways." Pumpkin told Lola as she got up. Lola can we go to the park?" Pumpkin at before bringing her leash to Lola hoping she would understand.

Lola almost immediately understood, "You want to go to the park don't you. Well we can, but you got to stay with me alright." Lola asks the dog who nods, "Fine I'll stay with you. I don't want what happened last time to happen again." Pumpkin says to Lola as she awaits the leash to be put on her collar.

At the park Pumpkin was just enjoying the warm day looking for either friend sadly neither Treasure or Diamond was around. Pumpkin looked at the pond before hearing something coming from behind she quickly turned around ready to pounce, but sees it's just a teenage boy that looked sad. Pumpkin knew she promised not to wander off, but this was her job.

Pumpkin padded over to the boy who looked at her sadly. Before petting her ears. You're such a pretty dog I bet you be worth quite a bit." the teenager says, and Pumpkin immediately regrets her decision of coming near him.

The teenager grabbed Pumpkin where she couldn't get loose from his grip. "Hey let me go!"  Pumpkin yelped more surprised and unhappy then mad at the teenager. She looked over to Lola who was on her phone probably talking to Jenny or her boyfriend. She wouldn't be any help. Suddenly Pumpkin felt her collar being taken off.

Pumpkin growled at the teenager, "What do you think your doing! That's mine! And it belongs to me, and let me Go.!" Pumpkin says squirming as the teenager just started walking away with her in his arm. Soon enough they were in a car. Pumpkin growled looking out the window of the moving car.

She had to get out of here. She didn't belong here she belongs to Georgie. Pumpkin looked at the thing that opened the window getting an idea, but shaking it off as it was crazy and risky.

"I can't jump out of a car! I'd be killed. But I have jumped out of a flatbed, but that was always when there was enough snow to cushion my jump.  Ugh why was am I growing a conscience now." Pumpkin asked herself as she use to do crazy stuff like this when she was a stray, and had to get away from animal control. But back then she didn't have anything now she had an owner who she wanted to get home to unharmed. Pumpkin finally saw her chance to both get out of there as the car slowed.

"Here goes nothing!"  Pumpkin barked as she opened the window all the way and jumped out of the car that was now stopped at an intersection. Once out she looked back at the teen. "Bye bye loser." Pumpkin barked dodging a few cars before getting to the sidewalk where she panted anxiously. She was glad that worked. Now just to go home. 

The only question she had was where was home? Pumpkin was not familiar with this part of the city, and all the familiar scents were gone. She had no idea where she was, where the nearest park was or  where she could find water. Not only that, but she didn't have a collar on. She would have to be cautious of animal control and people in general, as the teenager was write she was a beautiful dog.

Pumpkin glanced around nose in the air as she started walking trying to pick up any familiar scents. Soon enough she was even more lost then she already was and ended up in an alleyway.

Meanwhile Lola had noticed Pumpkin was missing and that her collar was stranded on the ground. She had quickly called Jenny up in panic as she was pretty sure someone stole Pumpkin, as Pumpkin would never take her collar off. Sho loved and protect that thing on her neck, as if it was gold. Because to Pumpkin that collar was gold.

Lola could not believe she allowed that to happen she only turned her back for a minute. She should have known she couldn't turn her back at all. The worst part is she had no idea what to tell Georgie who was going to get off her flight any moment and call her.

This was not good. Not good at all.
