An Unplanned Vacation prt 1

Georgie, Pumpkin and Mira was sitting on the couch one evening, as they looked through who had house calls the next afternoon. Which wasn't many thank goodness. "Hey Mira we get to see Mina tommorow." Georgie tells her Chihuahua papillon miss who wags her tail at the name. As Mina was finally able to get out of the mental institution a week ago, and now came over about once a week to talk with Georgie and Mira and Pumpkin, and Mira enjoyed it.

"Let's see here we have to be at Broadway tomorrow night we don't have to work in the morning though what do you say about a walk in the park and then going to the children's hospital to visit Elena and them." Georgie asks before her phone started beeping. " Causing Georgie to look at it. "Oh Lily is face timing want to say hi Pumpkin?" Georgie asks as Pumpkin nods they hadn't talked to Lily in forever!

"Alright I'll answer boy we haven't actually talked since what like four or five months." Georgie says as Pumpkins nods, and Mira looks confused, "Who's Lily?" Mira asks as Pumpkin wags her tail, "Lily is Georgie's best friend!" Pumpkin says making Mira look even more confused. "I thought her best friend was Tessa." Mira says as Pumpkin groans impatiently, "Yeah she has three best friends Lily is her best and longest friend I believe they've known each other since elementary school." Pumpkin says making Mira nod, "Oh okay cool." Mira says as Georgie answered the phone. "Hello." She asks as she was greeted with an enthusiastic squeal she definitely didn't miss that.

"Oh my gosh G! It's been so long how are you?" Lily asks Georgie who laughs as sometimes her friend was worst then the kids she worked with almost everyday . "Hey Lil and I know I have just been so busy with work and with being a therapy dog handler, and also making house calls anyways what have you been up to?" Georgie asks as Lilly smiles, "I'm currently on my break I didn't know acting could be so hard." Lily says making Georgie chuckle, "I told you so and how's Florida?"

Georgie asks as Lily smiles, it's amazing. You should really come down sometime. We haven't seen each other since sometime in March, and you had to go home early because Lola wasn't watching her." Lily says as Georgie nods, I know, but I have work, and then I have volunteer work." Georgie says as Lily frowned, "G tell me when did you last have a real vacation one where you didn't have to come back because Pumpkin tried something. Where you didn't get called back because something came up, and not just a staycation where you still did things, and don't lie." Lily says crossing her arm making the phone drop making both chuckle, and Georgie shake her head in feign exasperation.

"Georgie I am serious though how long has it been since you had an actual vacation?" Lily ask making Georgie look at Pumpkin who shrugs as something always happened when they tried to take a vacation. "Um I think Valentine's day weekend was the last time I had off and nothing to bad happened. "Georgie says even though she did get snowed into an airport. Lily rolled her eyes, "Alright you definitely need to come to Florida with Pumpkin. What about next week? We could go to Disney World, and stuff before I have to start work again."

Lily says making Georgie sighs as she knew she could not fight with Lily as she was stubborn which was one thing both had in common. "Fine I'll see if I can get the next week off no promises though alright." Georgie says as Lily nods "Sounds good with me." Lily says before they both heard Ethan, "I got to go call me when you get work off." Lily says making Georgie nod, "Got it I hope to see you soon Lily." Georgie says as Lily nods hanging up. "Looks like we got to go to Florida sometime. What do you pups think." Georgie asks making both dogs bark excitedly as they wanted to go.

"Alright then let's call work and see if when we can get vacation." Georgie says as the dog nods.

A few hours later Georgie was doing some her laundry when she got another phone call she had gotten the week off work since she had only took Valentine's day and her birthday off. So she was planning on going to Florida to see her friends. "Hello." Georgie says waiting for the caller to answer. "Hey Georgie." the director of the therapy dog group she worked with said as Georgie smiled, "Hey Phineas what do you need Georgie asked as Mira and Pumpkin look up at her in confusion.

"Hey Georgie I know you're probably busy but I just got a call from the Florida therapy dog group and they need someone to do assembly's at a school." He said making Georgie confused as school ended a few weeks before at least in New York. "Sir isn't the school year over by now." Georgie asks. "Yeah it's a summer school program thing. So can you go up for a few days?" Georgie nods, "Yeah sure I can." Georgie says typing the event into her schedule." Okay got it I'll be there Georgie says ending the phone call alright guys look like we have too have two week in Florida." Georgie says calling her work again as she had to take two weeks off now instead of just one.

The next day Georgie and the pups were working on packing there bag when there was a knock on her door making the dog start barking. Georgie looks at the door in confusion as she goes to answer it. "Oh Hey Emily what are you doing here? Georgie asked as she wasn't expecting Emily or Elena over. " Hey Georgie I know this is last minute, but I have a very important retreat and they said Elena couldn't come would you mind watching her for the next two weeks I tried my other babysitters but none wanted to take her for that long." Elena's mother says as Georgie sighs, "I would love too Emily but I'm heading to Florida in a few days..." Georgie started but Elena's mom cuts her off.

"Georgie I trust you she can go to Florida as long as she's with you. Please Georgie I'm desperate." Elena mom says as Georgie sighs she couldn't say no to Elena or her mother. "Okay I can take her as long as you don't mind her going to Florida Georgie says. "As Emily says, "Great I'll get her bag packed. And bring it over later tonight." Elena's mom says as Elena rolls in, "Miss Georgie are we really going to Florida?" Elena asks excitedly as Georgie nods "Yeah we are. Now want to go watch something." Georgie asked as Elena nods, "Yeah Pup Star." Elena says making Georgie laugh as both Mira and Pumpkin roll their eyes. As Pup Star was a movie about singing dog and it was ridiculous to the dog.

Georgie puts on the DVD as she here another knock and groans "Grand Central Station what do you need." Georgie says as she opened the door...
