Pumpkin was walking the snowy sidewalks of Broadway Park with Georgie's friend Tessa. It was once again a pretty cold day and it was snowing a little bit. Tessa had gotten snowed in again.

And even though Pumpkin was still a little over protective of her owner. Pumpkin's owner Georgie's had once again offered Tessa to stay with them, and thankfully Georgie was there when it happened this time.

Pumpkins sighs with happiness. It was Georgie's and Pumpkin's day off, and as always they had went to the park despite the frigid weather, Georgie had went to get some hotdogs for them to eat while Pumpkin made sure Tessa did not get lost as this was her first time at this park.

Pumpkin could feel Tessa eyes almost penetrating holes in her head so the dog turned around facing her owner's friend looking confused.

She then heard Tessa ask her something, "How do you guys survive in this weather it is freezing." Pumpkin shook her head.

Pumpkin had been to California once, and let's just say she was hotter than a hotdog. So as Tessa was used to the warm Georgie and Pumpkin were use to the cold winter weather of New York.

Tessa looked at the pup and then said, "I am going in that coffee shop really quick okay stay." Pumpkin heard Tessa command and immediately understood, and stayed not just because it was a command, but did it for Tessa would not get a talking to from Georgie for leaving her alone.

Pumpkin sighs as she waits for one of the two girls to return looking more for Georgie, as Pumpkin was getting hungry, and really wanted a hotdog. Not to mention some water that was not frozen.

Pumpkin ears perk up when she hears the cafe door open though, and she sees someone who looks almost exactly like Tessa come out of the shop.

Pumpkin cocked her head very confused this girl looked like Tessa, but her hair was down and it did not look like she even acknowledge Pumpkin.

Pumpkin could not decide what to do Georgie was no where to be seen, and that could have been Tessa. So Pumpkin decided to follow the girl who looked like Tessa.

Georgie came back to the spot where she had left Tessa and Pumpkin not seeing either of them. Georgie just stands there until she sees Tessa coming towards her.

Georgie looks around still looking for her pet before asking Tessa, "Tessa where is Pumpkin?" Georgie asked unhappily as she was nervous as the pup had never wandered out of sight before.

"She was sitting right where you were standing before I went inside." Tessa told Georgie who calls out to her dog hoping that she was just hiding in plain sight since she was white, and the snow was white.

"Pumpkin if you are hiding it is not funny." Georgie called out to the pup. Who did not answer.

Meanwhile Pumpkin was getting even more confused by all this. Pumpkin had realized that she was getting farther and farther away from home. So she decided to head the way she had came, but before she could the girl who looked like Tessa noticed the pup

"Hello cute girl, what are you doing out here in the cold." Pumpkin heard the girl ask. Pumpkin just sighed not wanting to deal with this. Georgie would be worried sick, and she was hungry and cold not to mention that it was starting to snow again and would cover her scent and paw print. Before she could show the girl her collar though the girl had picked her up.

"Come on Pup it is starting to snow, and I am sure you have an owner, but it is too cold out here to search right now." The girl told the pup as another girl came up to Lola a panicked look on her face.
