"Remind me why we are leaving Pumpkin with these two again. " Georgie asks her friend Tessa as they walk through an apartment building.

Georgie had the weekend off. Well at least she thought she did until Tessa and Reed showed up; asking her to join them on a weekend retreat to help with their makeup. Which Georgie agreed to. The only thing is that dogs were not aloud to come, and there was no way Georgie would be able to talk the hotel in to letting Pumpkin stay.

She also didn't have a dog sitter since Pumpkin went pretty much everywhere with her which left her to her last resort. 

Georgie had met Lola quite a few times. The first being when they quite literally bumped into one another in the  hospital. The time after was when Pumpkin mistakened Lola for Tessa as the two almost looked identical.

Soon after they kept meeting each other at the park when Georgie had her days off and Lola was just wandering around. She had gotten to know Lola pretty well which is exactly the reason why she was not keen on leaving her beloved pet with her.

The only thing that was letting Georgie actually do this was because of Lola's friend and roommate Jenny. Who was much more organized, and would actually watch Pumpkin.

Tessa sighs seeing Georgie's nervousness at leaving Pumpkin with her friend. "Because the hotel does not allow dogs, and besides you two need a break from each other. You guys are always together." Tessa told Georgie as she knocks on the apartment door.

Georgie sighs before whispering to herself, "I know but I don't trust Lola." As Lola opened the door

Lola smiled as she opened the door. One of her friends was letting her pup sit, and she was excited to do so since her roommate would not allow her to get a dog, as she was pretty irresponsible. "Hey Georgie, and hi Pumpkin she said as she pets the pup that was in Georgie's arm.

Pumpkin wagged her tail enjoying the attention she was getting. Pumpkin liked Lola alright, but she could tell why she was here. She did not want to stay here she wanted to go with Georgie! Pumpkin wriggled deeper into Georgie as she waited.

Georgie smiled at Lola,"Hey Lola thanks for watching Pumpkin I know it is short notice." Georgie told Lola who waved it off.

Lola returned the smile, "No problem Georgie I love Pumpkin, and she'll have a great time here." Lola replied to Georgie who nodded.

" Alright here are the instructions. Please follow them. " Georgie told Lola as she handed Lola a piece of paper. That had instructions on it.

Lola looked through the instructions, and nods, " Don't worry I will Jenny will make sure of it." Lola told Georgie who smiled.

" Alright then here you go." Georgie said handing Lola Pumpkin and Pumpkin's food. "Thanks again Lola now we better go. Pumpkin be good for Lola." Georgie said before her and Tessa headed back the way they came.

Pumpkin whimpered a little as she watched her owner leave but turned to Lola when she heard her start to move. Pumpkin looked around the apartment uncertainly. This place was a lot bigger than Georgie's studio apartment even the television was bigger. Pumpkin did not like it at all.

Pumpkin sighs as she sees Lola sitting on the sofa; she then turned her head when she heard her name being called. "Pumpkin come here girl do you want to watch television with me?" Lola asked her; as she cocked her head. Her and Georgie never watched much television since they were always busy or at the park. Georgie only watched it for the news.

Pumpkin went over to the couch and jumped up on it near Lola keeping a little space between the two of them as she did not feel comfortable with sitting on Lola's lap, as she only did that for her patients and Georgie and Tessa.

Pumpkin really wanted to get out of here, and do anything, but stay here so she made a small plan. As she continued sitting on the couch.

Lola looked at the pup as she saw Pumpkin lying on the couch she then looked at the list. At the very bottom it said "Don't let Pumpkin escape." Lola laughed at this as Pumpkin was to well behaved to do this, but there was a reason Georgie had mentioned it.

Pumpkin had a knack for escaping when Georgie was not around, but she only really did it when she was alone, and bored at the apartment. That why Georgie had put the warning on there.

About thirty-five minutes later Jenny came back and Pumpkin saw her chance. Once the door opened the pup darted out before Lola or Jenny could think.

Pumpkin runs down the stairs and presses the handicap button to get out the door. Pumpkin yipped happily she could not believed that worked! Now she could have some fun, and maybe see her friend Diamond if she was lucky enough.

"Lola why didn't you hold her!!!"  Jenny asked as she had noticed Pumpkin had darted and was heading towards the stairs.

"I didn't hear you until the door opened, and Pumpkin never did that before!!!" Lola told Jenny who groans.

" Yeah maybe because Georgie actually uses the commands she wrote down." Jenny said looking at the instructions which on the back also had a list of commands that Pumpkin knew.

Lola looked at the instructions. "I didn't even see those!" Lola exclaimed as Jenny sighed.

"You know what it doesn't matter. We just need to find her." Jenny told Lola who nodded

" Easy peasy she's probably still in here. There is no way she could get out the door. " Lola told Jenny who nodded

" Yeah that's true now let's go get her I don't feel like going on another adventure today. " Jenny told Lola who once again nods in agreement.

They went down the elevator and looked around. Both surprised to see that Pumpkin was not there. "Pumpkin stop hiding." Lola called out as Jenny looked at the list of commands.

" Pumpkin come!" Jenny called out, but neither saw Pumpkin. Both girls groan as they see the accessibility button and Jenny reads out one of the commands.

"Just great this dog is smarter than some children I babysit. I think she use the button to get out, and she could be anywhere." Jenny told Lola who sighs.

" Georgie is going to kill me if we can not find her before she gets home." Lola said as she knew how much Georgie loved Pumpkin, as Jenny looks at Lola seriously.

" Oh we better find her before Georgie gets home otherwise she'll have an assistant. " Jenny told Lola who shuddered at hearing this.
