Together As One We Stand

Just a cute and idea I had with Jade and her pack. It won't be very long

It had been three moons since Fang's Dictatorship and the pack were finally starting to settle again. Jade was elected Alpha shortly after Fang got captured, and was way better than he'd ever be at it.

Thorn who had known Fang the longest and was  forced to try and bear him pups. Was finally free of her misery, and still got to keep her role as beta.

Tyson who had also been in Fang's pack for a while was no longer belittled and put down by Fang for his small stature.

And Dove the one who was in Fang's pack for the shortest time regained her puppy like innocence. Things still weren't going to be easy, but just looking over her small pack gave Jade hope for the future.

Jade then heard the sibling bickering from near the dirty water. And jumps down from her spot landing swiftly on the ground walking over to Thorn the eldest of the pack, and sits side by side with her. "What are they bickering about this time?"  Jade asks with a quirked eyebrow and gentle laugh.

Thorn rolled her eyes lovingly, "Who knows with those two. Should I break them up yet, Jade?" Thorn asks Jade who nods, "If you wouldn't mind, Thorn." Jade told the red dog that stood quite a few inches taller then her.

The red pup smiled, "I don't mind at all." Thorn says starting to walk over to the two others pup. Who were bickering.

" I get the can first!" Tyson growled out playfully

"No  I do." Dove whines out as both started tugging on it before Thorn stepped in between them  making both dogs fall into separate sides of her flank, "That's enough for now you two. I think it's about dinner time anyways." Thorn told them gently.

" Yay I'm starving!" Dove barked out making the others roll their eyes. "So what's for dinner." Tyson asked looking to the two eldest pups. Jade and Thorn sighs, "Not much sadly we Jade didn't have a successful hunt, and I only found a few scraps of food that was salvageable." Thorn told the pups throwing them the pieces of food she had found.

Tyson and Dove looked at the food then looked at the place Jade and Thorn were sitting which didn't have anything. "Where is your food Thorn and Alpha?" Tyson asked quietly even though he already knew where it was.

"Oh we already ate, Jade told the pup even though neither Jade or Thorn had eaten for few days as it was winter and there was barely anything to hunt. So they gave everything they had to the younger two.

Tyson instantly knew the two were lying and he split his already small portion of food into smaller ones, not wanting to get in a fight with Dove about borrowing some of her food. "Your lying here have some of mine. At least then we'll all have a little bit in our stomachs Tyson says throwing the two pieces of food which they reluctantly ate.

After dinner Tyson jumped into the water splashing all three of the other members. "Tyson!" All three yell out before Tyson can back out of the mucky water. "Sorry."

"You better be."  Dove says playfully as she jumps into the water splashing Tyson. Tyson laughed, " Oh you're on Dove!"

Both of the older pups watch them, "Should I stop them?"" Thorn asks quietly making Jade shake her head. "No everyone needs to have some fun."  Jade says before splashing the bigger dog fur with water  before swimming quickly away. Thorn rolled her eye playfully as she goes to get Jade back for splashing her fur that was already soaked. "Get back here Jade! I'm going to get you, but do be careful I don't want anyone hurt." Thorn called out making all the other groan before saying unanimously, "Mother Hen!"
