"Lola Perez! Why haven't you answered any of my calls?!" Georgie asked annoyance and worry clear in her voice. Lola gulped nervously, "My phone wasn't charged." Lola told Georgie who rolled her eyes, "Seriously Lola do you really think I'm going to believe that? What happened this time?"" Georgie asked seriously, Lola sighs as Georgie knew her to well. "Well... you see..."

Georgie groaned, "Lola where is my dog?!" Georgie asks warningly wanting to know what happened to Pumpkin this time. "Well she umm... was um... stolen?" Lola's statement came out more like a question. "She was what!" Georgie whispered yelled in disbelief. "You better have a good reason to not be watching her." Georgie told Lola who gulped. She had finally pushed Georgie past her line.

"Georgie I only turned my back for a second, and she was gone, and her collar was on the ground. I promise I'll find her. I don't know how, but I will." Georgie sighs, "I'll get on the next flight home. To help search my mom will understand. See you soon Lola." Georgie told Lola hanging up.

Lola sighs she had no idea how to find a stolen dog. Unless if she knocked on every door in New York, and who knows she may not be in New York at all.

A few hours had went by and Jade had gotten up and quickly nudged Pumpkin up. "Rise and shine Whitey we got to get moving we slept in." Jade told Pumpkin who quickly got up, "Alright let's go then." Pumpkin said as Jade begins leading the way, but almost instantly after they stepped out of the sewer Pumpkin heard a familiar growl and turned around to see Diamond staring at Jade not even acknowledging Pumpkin.

"Get out of my land stray!" Diamond growls at Jade who looks at her in surprise. "No need to get your tail in a twist cat! We're just passing through." Jade told the cat defensively stepping in front of Pumpkin.

Pumpkin knew she needed to break this up before Diamond got killed. So she steps in between them looking at Diamond. "Diamond she's telling the truth she's helping me! And I just watched her defeat Fang not to long ago. I would not fight her if I were you." Pumpkin warned the cat before turning to Jade. "Jade this is my friend Diamond she may seem a little territorial but aren't all alley um.. street animals?"

Both Diamond and Jade calmed down, but they were still glaring at one another. Pumpkin sighs at least they weren't killing each other. Pumpkin turned around when she heard Diamond speak, "Anyways Leashed dog why are you here. I thought your owner was off." Pumpkin wagged her tail. She wagged her tail, " She was but she had to go to Arizona to see her mom. She'll be back tonight. And why I'm here is a very long story all you need to know is that I need to get home pronto." Pumpkin explained wagging her tail.

" Say no more! I'll walk you home Pumpkin." Diamond told the white dog, but the black dog intervenes. "Hold on just a second this is my job, and I'm going to complete it. I didn't walk you all that way just to stop here." Pumpkin groans. " You both can come. Just don't fight please." Pumpkin told the two animals as they were not getting along very well, and Pumpkin knew neither of them would back down.

Both of the street animals roll their eyes at Pumpkin and groan, before Jade sighs giving in, "I'll just go home, I need to talk to my pack about what we do next anyways. Bye Pumpkin nice meeting you."  Jade says before quickly re-entering the sewer.

Pumpkin sighs she knew Jade didn't feel welcome here especially with her cat friend glaring at Jade all the time. "You could have been nicer ya know. Jade wasn't trying to steal your territory!" Pumpkin said lowly as that dog had just saved her life a day prior, and she did not like how Diamond had treated Jade.  "What she was on my territory..."

Pumpkin groans, "So what I welcomed you into my territory! I wandered into Jade's territory, and she saved me from Fang. She could have been killed protecting me from the dog almost two times bigger than her.  And even after that she accepted me into her packs territory! Now come on let's go I need to get home." Pumpkin says still overly annoyed with her friend. Hopefully she would find Jade again, and be able to apologise, but for right now she needed to beat Georgie home.

Both animals  started the journey to Pumpkin apartment building. In a silence that usually wouldn't be between the two. Pumpkin had been giving Diamond the cold shoulder since they started their walk. All was silent before Diamond sighs, "Pumpkin listen, I'm sorry about getting mad at your new friend. It's just the alley cat way, and I was worried she was going to take my territory, and I was worried she was going to hurt you."

Pumpkin sighs as well, " It's fine Diamond I know that you want to protect me. But if we ever see Jade again you need to apologise to her." Pumpkin  told Diamond who nodded before stopping mid step. "Great animal control is coming over here." Diamond says looking for anywhere they could hide, but the the men were starting to surround them.

"If only I had my collar on that would save both of us." Pumpkin thought before a familiar black streak ran over pushing them into a small drain  that barely fit them. "Stay here I got this!"
