"Alright ready, set, jump. " Both animals says jumping off the flatbed and tumbling into the cold snow. "We're alive!!!" Diamond says half dramatically half because she really thought they wouldn't survive the trip. They had spent only a few minutes on the flatbed, but those few minutes were scary. Neither of the animals were use to doing that when it was icy out.

Both the cat and dog shook their cold fur. As both saw the children's hospital in sight, "I told you we would make it." Pumpkin say triumphantly as she starts running towards the hospital. "Pumpkin hold up it's slic..." Before Diamond could finish her sentence Pumpkin slid on the ice and almost face planted." Diamond tried to hold back her laugh as she slid across the ice easily, before skidding to a stop near Pumpkin.

Diamond smirked at the pup who rolls her eyes at the cat before mumbling, "Show off." Diamond just rolled her eyes playfully, "Come on let's get you up. Okay now spread out your legs." Diamond instructed Pumpkin who looked at her as if she was crazy, " Why?" Pumpkin asked confused as the cat snickered, "Just do it."

Pumpkin did as told as she got up Diamond helping her to stand in the position she had told her to do. "Alright now I'm going to push you don't worry you won't fall." Diamond reassured as she started to push the dog that was quite a bit taller than the cat was. "Okay this is awkward." Pumpkin told the cat who laughed, "It's either that or I leave you to freeze to death you're choice." Diamond told her seriously as she was getting annoyed at pushing Pumpkin.

Six minutes later they finally got to the door, "Alright leash dog your officially here can you get in okay." Diamond questioned as Pumpkin nodded, " Yeah but keep close I may need help getting back home." Pumpkin told Diamond who nods, " Alright, I will." Diamond says stalking off as Pumpkin jumped on the motion pad, opening the door as she went into the hospital.

Pumpkin looked around before heading to the front desk barking for the receptionist. The receptionist looked over to the dog. "Oh hey Pumpkin where's Georgie." Nellie the receptionist asks Pumpkin

Pumpkin wagged her tail at Nellie, " She's snowed in at the airport." Pumpkin says casually though she knew Nellie only heard barks. Nellie sighs before saying, "You came here by yourself didn't you Pumpkin. Pumpkin wags her tail trying to tell Nellie "Yes." Nellie sighs looking at the dog, "I have to call Georgie Pumpkin she's probably worried sick!" Pumpkin shook her fur; as she see Elena coming over.

Pumpkin quickly went over to the girl, barking a short series of barks, "Elena help!! Tell Nellie that my pup sitter dropped me off please." Pumpkin says desperately. Elena then spoke up, "Miss Nellie I think I saw her pup sitter drop her off." Elena told the receptionist sweetly, as she picked up Pumpkin. Who wagged her tail as Nellie put the phone down. "You sure Lena?" She asked. Elena smiled, "Positive."

Meanwhile Lola had decided to go with a different approach then last time. Pumpkin may like adventures, but she had noticed Pumpkin hated the cold. She would have had them inside. She must have wanted to go somewhere, and the only four places she could think was the hospital, nursing home, Broadway, or the children's hospital so she decided to call each starting with the hospital.

"Thanks. I don't want to get the pup sitter in trouble. I have already got her in trouble from the last adventure here." Pumpkin barked to Elena who nodded, "Your welcome P. Thank you for coming and visiting us, Valentine's day gets lonely when you are alone in a children's hospital. Especially when your parents can't come because of the snow." Elena told Pumpkin who shook her fur, " Your welcome. What's Valentine's day anyways?." Pumpkin asked as Georgie had never actually explained what Valentine's day was, and she was curious as this was still her first year at holidays, and she never understood them.

"Oh it's kind of like a smaller Christmas! But with hearts instead of wreaths. It's a time we usually spend with loved ones. And my favorite part is that you get chocolate." The seven year old girl told Pumpkin who wagged her tail, but made a face at chocolate as that stuff was revolting. Not to mention Georgie got angry with her when she did eat it. "I'll pass on the chocolate, but maybe some vanilla ice cream would be go. That stuff is the best!" Pumpkin exclaimed making Elena laugh at the pup. "Oh Pumpkin! Your such a silly dog." Now come let's visit some of the other kids." Elena suggested as she picked Pumpkin up and headed off.

Lola had tried three of the four places, now she only had the children's hospital left to call, and she really hope Pumpkin would be there. As the snow was starting to slow, and the snowplows had hit most of the roads meaning Georgie could be home soon.

"Hello this is Nellie the receptionist how may I help you?" Lola heard someone answer as she sighs in relief, "Oh hello Nellie I am Lola Perez and I am looking for a dog I pup sit her name is Pumpkin, and she is white poodle mix." Lola says quickly. And got a quick answer from the receptionist, "Yeah Pumpkin is here she must have came her by herself, but one of our patients said they saw you she must have mistakened you as someone else." Nellie told Lola who chuckles.

" It would not be the first time. I look a lot like Georgie's friend Tessa, even Pumpkin confuses us sometime, also can you please make sure she stays at the hospital? I will be over in a bit to pick her up." Lola told Nellie who she hears chuckle, " Yeah I'll make sure she won't leave I promise, and be safe the snow is still a bit heavy." Nellie said before both hang up.

About twenty five minutes later Lola was at the children's hospital, and got out of her car. She immediately went inside, and went to the front desk saying, "Hello I'm Pumpkin's pup sitter, and I'm here to pick up Pumpkin." Nellie nodded, " Room seventeen ma'am."

Lola then goes to the room seeing Pumpkin just sitting there with some random girl. She looked at the dog before saying, "You need to stop doing this! I know you like adventures, but no more on my watch okay? " Lola asked the dog who sighs, but wags her tail as she stands up, and goes to Lola ready to go home.

At Georgie's apartment, Lola quickly make sure everything is in place, and make sure Pumpkin looked exactly the same as she usually did. Georgie came home a few minutes later, and was surprised everything and everyone was still there.

"Hey Lola thanks for watching her did she get into any trouble?" Georgie question as Lola wave her hand dismissively, "No she was an angel the whole time"." Lola told Georgie making Georgie laugh as she could tell something had went down, but was to tired to care right now as she had just spent half of her day in an airport with crazy people, and she was just glad Pumpkin and her home was in one piece.

"While I don't believe that for a hot second I am really to worn out to care. We will come back to this subject later. Do you want to stay for dinner?" Georgie asked Lola who shook her head, "No me and Jenny have plans for tonight, and plus none of the food you have here actually tastes good." Lola says as she grabs her backpack and started heading out, " Bye Georgie thanks for trusting me to watch her." Lola said with a smile. Georgie returned the smile, and said, " No thank you for watching her. Have a fun night Lola." Georgie says as she closed the door, and looked at her pup playfully.

"Now what kind of trouble did you get in to today Diva Dog?" Georgie questioned Pumpkin who in answer pulled of a Valentine's day card out from the couch where she had hidden it."What is this Pumpkin." Georgie asked the dog surprised. Pumpkin wagged her tail, and barked, " A card silly it from all of the kids at the children's hospital."

Georgie opened the letter before looking at Pumpkin in disbelief, "You walked on the way there in blinding snow just to visit the kids. What were you thinking. " Pumpkin shrugged, and cuddled up closer to Georgie. This was definitely not how they were expecting to spend the day before Valentine's day, but hey at least they were together in the end.

I don't feel as this one came out as good as it could have, but I think it went okay considering it being a bit rushed. Anyways I hoped you enjoyed vote and comment
