"What do you mean I can't bring my dog I'm not leaving her here overnight and I'm definitely not letting Lola take care of her Lil especially now that I know Pumpkin has an enemy at the park. Trust me Lola is worst then Austin! Yeah the one that killed your hamster. Alright fine, the things I do for you Lil. Alright see you then bye." Pumpkin picked her head up lazily from her paws looking at Georgie confused "What was that about?" Pumpkin barked out. Georgie looked over to Pumpkin who wags her tail curiously. "Looks like you're going over to Lola's tommorow for some reason Lilly just wants it to be her and I tommorow." Georgie told the pup reluctantly

Pumpkin cocked her head and looked confused what was so bad about that. Pumpkin thought as she puts her head back on her paws looking at the empty space beside her on the bed. Before looking to Georgie and whimpering. Georgie sighs, "Alright Pumpkin I'm coming." Georgie says unhappily as she sits down on the bed sitting next to Pumpkin. "Please promise me something Diva Dog. Please be careful tommorow alright I don't want you getting hurt." Pumpkin sighs and nods tiredly, "I promise I will try to keep that promise." Pumpkin barked looking at Georgie before flopping her head back down. Making Georgie chuckle, "Alright, I get it you're tired. Goodnight you Diva Dog." Pumpkin wags her tail slightly before falling asleep.

The next morning Georgie and Pumpkin was at the familiar apartment door waiting for Lola to answer  the door. When she did open it Pumpkin instantly walked in. Georgie looked to Lola. "Here's the list for her don't lose it. And Lola don't let her out. I mean it this time and if you are to go to the park. Please keep an eye on her. We just had an encounter with a street dog, and he would have attacked Pumpkin if I hadn't intervened. And I don't want to come back to an injured dog understood.." Lola nodded

"Yes I understand and I promise I will not let her get out this time and I most definitely won't let her get injured." Georgie sighs not quite believing her, "Uh huh, sure anyways I better go my friend is waiting for me and I don't want a fight on my hands. Bye Lola call me if anything does happen" Georgie say with one last reluctant look to her dog before briskly yet reluctantly walking away.

Pumpkin saw Lola re-enter the room looking dead at her, "No escaping this time alright? Stay." Lola said looking at the list of commands. Pumpkin sighs, "Alright fine I'll stay here." Pumpkin says instantly lying down.

A few hours later Lola had gotten up,and looked at Pumpkin, as Pumpkin stood up, and stretched following Lola. "Come on Pumpkin let's go hang out at the park." Lola suggested, making Pumpkin wag her tail nervously as she was still nervous about being at the park after the whole Fang incident, and she was pretty sure Georgie felt the same way about it, as her guard has always been up since then. "Alright sure I guess that would be fun." Pumpkin barked as she felt the leash snap onto her collar.

At the park Lola flopped down on one of the benches and looks at her cell phone. While Pumpkin watched the children play on the playground. It was a nice spring day and Pumpkin felt good being outside as her Georgie had not went to the park at all that week.

Pumpkin catches a familiar scent and carefully starts tracing it, keeping all her senses in tune to what was around her. That is until she realizes just who it is, "Hey Diamond." Pumpkin says to the bush in front of her as Diamond jumped out.

"Hey leashed dog I see you're getting better at tracking. How have you been?" Diamond asked her friend a sly grin on her face. "I have been great even greater now that I get to see you!" Pumpkin exclaimed as she looked over to Lola, " Hey Diamond would you mind moving closer to where she is sitting she is supposed to be watching me, and I know you don't like humans, but please I want to catch up." Pumpkin tells Diamond hopefully.

Diamonds groans but nods, " Yeah sure." Pumpkin and Diamond moved closer but Pumpkin suddenly heard a familiar growl both animals quickly turn their heads. To see who Pumpkin dreaded, her half brother, Fang.

"I thought my owner and I told you, leave me alone Fang." Pumpkin growled out desperately trying to scare her older half brother away, but failing miserably. Fang snarled at her. "I'll do what I want. Plus your precious owner is not here to save you this time." Fang told Pumpkin making her fur bristle up.

Diamond quickly stepped in and made it in front of Pumpkin, "Her owner might not be here, but I am and you know the damage I can cause. You don't want to mess with me, and if you mess with her you get me" Diamond growled lowly as she quickly looked to Pumpkin reassuringly before quickly snapping her head around when she heard the male dog growl,

"Well Diamond why are you protecting a leashed pet?" Fang asked growling as he made a quick bolt towards Pumpkin managing to grab her ear and tearing a piece off before Diamond shoved him off and began to attack the dog .

Pumpkin yelled in surprise and pain as she managed to look at the new torn ear that was quickly dripping blood. She looked at Diamond who was still attacking her step brother. Before going over to Lola who still hadn't noticed that their was a fight going on. "Lola some assistance please." Pumpkin barked out making Lola look down from her phone. " Oh hey... What the! Pumpkin what happened to your ear?" Lola asks in surprise as she saw Pumpkin's left ear torn and quickly dripping blood.

Pumpkin just motioned her head to the fight that was still going on between her friend and her half brother. Before wincing in pain she had forgotten how much a torn ear could hurt. Lola just stood up grabbing Pumpkin and her phone. Heading towards the car before saying, "Please don't kill me Georgie."  almost to quietly to hear.

Lola dialled Georgie number getting an answer instantaneously, "What happened" Georgie asked totally unamused and worry for her dog. Lola just shrugged, "Who said anything was wrong can't I just call my friend to check in." Lola asked awkwardly. Making Georgie raise an eyebrow and look even more unamused then she already was.

"Lola." Georgie says warningly to Lola as she knew the doppelganger of Tessa was hiding something from her, and she did not like it. Lola sighs in defeat, "Alright um... Georgie I don't know how to say this but your dog got into a teeny tiny incident." Lola says quickly and nervously.

Georgie sighs looking at Lola seriously, "How bad is her injury." Georgie asked seriously though she was obviously trying to keep herself composed. Lola looked back at Georgie still nervous, "A dog tore the ear that wasn't already torn." Lola says as Georgie sighs shaking her head. " I'll meet you at the vet office, and to make this clear you are never EVER pupsitting Pumpkin again." Georgie told Lola before hanging up the phone.

Lola sighs looked at the dog in the backseat, "I definitely messed up this time. I'm so so sorry Pumpkin I should have kept a better eye on you." Lola says looking at Pumpkin through the rear view mirror.

Pumpkin just wagged her tail, "Don't worry Lola I'll be fine, and I forgive you." Pumpkin barked as she lies down still inspecting her newly torn ear. Lola sighs in relief knowing Pumpkin had forgiven her. Her questions was would Georgie forgive her?

Ten minutes later they arrived at the vet already Lola already seeing Georgie's vehicle there as she parked. Lola sighs here goes nothing come on pup. Let's see how bad it actually is." Lola told the pup opening the back door as Pumpkin nods and wags happily as she goes over to her owner. Georgie carefully picked up Pumpkin once she had made her way over glaring at Lola the whole time.

After seeing the vet Georgie puts Pumpkin in her car, as she looks to Lola who has her head down guiltily, "I'm sorry Georgie. It all just happened so fast, and I wasn't even paying attention."

Georgie sighs, " It's fine Lola it's just a tear she already has one just like it on the other ear, but I do stand by what I said you definitely won't be watching Pumpkin in the near future. Now I'm heading home you should too. I will see you around Georgie says hopping in the car and driving away with Pumpkin.
