The Adventure In Meeting Mal

This is part two of the three shot Descendantsfan03 requested.  So thank you Descendantsfan03  for this idea and for letting me use Little Mal and the quints again. And I'm sorry this took so long to post. I really hope you all enjoy.💖

"Miss Georgie I'm bored." Mal complained only thirty minutes after Georgie had started working. Georgie sighs, as she heard her boss grumble. "I know Mal I only have another twenty minutes before we can take a break. Why don't you play with Pumpkin no one has needed her yet." Georgie suggested as she really needed to finish setting up all the makeup as the actors and actresses would be there in a few minutes and things would get busy.

The little girl sighs going over to Pumpkin who was lying on her purple pillow chewing on her stuffed hedgehog. "Pumpkin is she always this busy?" Mal asked Pumpkin who nods, "You call that busy? You should see her when the real work start. We usually can't spare a glance at one another until everyone is rehearsing. " Pumpkin told Mal as she continues to chew on her toy.

Mal sat down by Pumpkin, " Tell a story please?"  Pumpkin looked at Mal confused, "What about Mal?"  Pumpkin questions as she knew Mal loved hearing her adventure stories, but she didn't know which one she wanted to hear.

"The one where you ran away from Auntie April, and went to see the Bolt statue." Pumpkin laughed at Mal before smiling, " It's Balto not Bolt, and sure I'll tell you about that, " You see it started when Georgie's, best friend Lilly called her up, and....

….......

Meanwhile Diamond and Jade had went through the tunnels neither talking to each other, as they were still trying to digest what happened a half hour before. Before Diamond randomly spoke "What did we do to deserve this?" Diamond spoke out with a growl making Jade turn to her sighing understanding exactly what Diamond was saying

"Diamond we didn't do anything to deserve this. We just weren't wanted." Jade says calmly, trying to sound as happy as she usually did, but failing miserably, as the things Pumpkin said hit her hard, and she was trying her best to help Diamond, but it was really hard.

Diamond looked to her friends seeing through her optimistic and happy mask, before sighing, "You know you don't have to cover your true feelings under your mask. I know Pumpkin's word hurt you just as much as they did me if not more. I'm seriously starting to wonder why I helped Pumpkin in the first place." Diamond told Jade stopping as she saw the entrance to one of the hunting grounds.

Jade sighs, "It's not her fault. We have never told her our pasts. So she doesn't know." Jade told Diamond who groaned, " Yeah because we don't want her to worry about it happening to her,but we told her many times that we don't like children or any person for that matter. And she needs to respect that and not throw insults at us. Pumpkin will never understand us. And that's a known fact." Diamond told the pug who nods.

" Yeah you're right so how about a hunt I bet  I can catch more mice then you!" Jade asks trying to throw their mind off the fight. Diamond smirked, "Your on Alpha Dog!" Diamond says playfully as both jump into the green grass.

Mal once again was very bored, and now both Georgie and Pumpkin were busy. So she decided to go and find the Balto statue Pumpkin had talked about just ten minutes prior.

Mal made sure neither were watching before finding her way to the door. Before walking out she started down the street looking around. She had no idea where this statue was so she just started wandering around before seeing a man sitting on one of the benches.

The stranger noticed her. "Well hello  young one what are you doing here?" The stranger asked

The two street animals were enjoying their hunt when both Diamond and Jade smelled something familiar. They turn their heads alerting their prey that they were hunting. Both animals groan, "Great there goes breakfast." They both say in unison as both fully turn around seeing the child they had just met talking to some one she obviously did not know.

"Is that Pumpkin's friend." Diamond asked half disgust half hurt in her voice. Jade nodded yeah, "Right near the dognapper that tried to dognap me and did dognap Pumpkin! We got to help her!" Jade barked urgently even though she didn't really want to after what Pumpkin said, but knew that wasn't a true reason to let someone get kidnapped.

Diamond groaned, "Why?" Jade quickly answered before she started running, "Let's put it this way do you want to be the one who tells Pumpkin that we let some kidnap her?" Jade asked. Diamond sighs, " Point taken." Diamond says catching up to the dog.

Jade and Diamond jumped off the cement that was about two feet up frome where Mal was with the stranger. "We're going to have to jump, otherwise we won't catch up." Diamond told Jade who nods, " I know but you're going to have to do extra hunting tommorow because I won't be able to move." Jade says before both jump in front of Mal growling.

" Leave her alone she's not your property." Diamond growled slashing the strangers knee." As Jade quickly led Mal to a drainage pipe where she would not be reached. "Stay here!"  she instructed as she ran back to where the stranger was. "Diamond I got this! Get Mal back to Broadway now! " Jade growls out quickly getting the attention of the dognapper.

"Alright be safe Jade I don't want another rescue mission understood?" Diamond yelled out to the the dog getting farther away who yelled back "Got it!" Before totally disappearing. The dognapper running after.

Diamond went over to where the child was, "Come on Mal right? Let's get you back to Broadway." Diamond says as she quickly led the way.

Soon Jade rejoined the two panting and limping. Diamond looked at her in concern. "You okay Jade?"  Jade nods, but immediately winces in pain afterward, "Yeah just twisted my leg I'll be fine just a little sore. How about you how is Mal treating you she whispered watching the girl walking in front of them.

"It took me everything I had, not to bite or scratch her she is the most annoying creature in the world." Diamond hissed at her before Mal started talking again.

"Why do we have to go back. I want to see the Bolt statue." She complained make Diamond groaned, but Jade quickly answered, " Mal, I'm Jade and we need to go home because Pumpkin will be worried.

" But it's no fun! I wanna stay with you!" Both Diamond and Jade groan. " Well you can't stay with us Mal. Pumpkin is already mad at us we don't need her to be even madder." Jade told Mal softly as they finally made it to the Broadway theater. Jade explained nudging her into the building. Bye Mal be good for Pumpkin and Georgie." Jade barked before both her, and Diamond walked off. Not wanting to deal with Pumpkin little did they know that wasn't the last they would see of that toddler.
