The One For Me

Hey everyone  I'm finally back with the whirlwind pack. As of lately  I've  been feeling  my newer characters  are missing something  that older ones have so I'm coming back to these because  I miss writing  these wonderful  OCs and the adventures  they have along with how real they feel. So I really  hope you enjoy since it's been quite a while and I had to remember  how to write these characters  let me know what you think. If you enjoy  vot and comment 💖

"Thorn, can Tyson and I play in the water?" A white puppy asks her Beta one day as the corgi  mix beside her just raises an eyebrow. The bronze dog just chuckles at the two pups.

"Dove, I never agreed to this!" Tyson barks in disbelief  as he did not like water or getting bathed very much. Dove just gave a huff look before  giving him her puppy dog eyes. 

"Come on Tyson, please play with me in the water." Dove whimpers and Tyson  immediately  looks away knowing  if he looked at his young friend  he would do whatever she wanted. "Alright fine, but only if Thorn allows it." Tyson says and Thorn  could not help, but smile. Tyson would do anything  for the youngest pack member they all would. Even Jade and Diamond  had a soft spot for her.

"I don't  see why it's a problem just please stay where you can walk please!" Thorn warns and Dove wags her tail excitedly grabbing a piece of Tyson's  floppy fur and pulled him away to the pond excitedly.
9"Yay! Thanks Thorn!" Dove says Tyson's tan fur is still in her mouth as she dragged him away with a lot of effort. Tyson just looked back at Thorn desperately, mouthing help me. Thorn just continues  to smile, bathing in the sun before  she hears pawsteps dachshund she loves

Hey Arrow…" Thorn started happily, her tail wagging slightly, before noticing the scratches and blood on his black and tan fur. "Oh my street! What happened  to you,   Arrow? Thorn asks as Arrow just looks at Thorn for a minute before looking  at his back.

"It's  nothing serious my love…" Arrow started as he didn't  want Thorn  to worry. He wasn't  worth worrying  about. He couldn't  lie though once Thorn gave him her stern look.

"Arrow your bleeding, I say that is serious. Now I'm asking you again what happened?" Thorn asks and Arrow huffs.

"I don't  want to talk about  it." Arrow barks out and Thorn sighs, but nods, not wanting to push Arrow as they were still getting  to know one another, and she didn't  want to force him.

"Okay, I  understand… um do you want to see little rock and sassy fur?" Thorn questions  and Arrow instantly nods at the nicknames given to Tyson and Dove.

"Of course I miss my young whippersnappers." Arrow says and Thirn just barks for her two younger pack members who were now soaked by the water.

"That was so unfair, you're bigger than I am!" Dove exclaims unhappily  as Tyson who rolls his eyes in irritation.

"Only by two inches! It was totally fair your just mad you didn't  win!" Tyson replies smugly before  noticing  Arrow. "Arrow!" The pup barks excitedly  and runs up to his mentor.

"Hey bud been a while hasn't it?" Arrow question  and Tyson nods before noticing  the scratches on Arrow. The young dog just huff looking  at Arrow  for confirmation.

"Next time I see her  I'm going  to make sure she regrets it." Tyson growls out. Arrow was basically  his dad and he hated how his parents  treated Arrow. Arrow just gives a small smile slightly  glaring  at Tyson since Thorn  was going  to ask even more questions that he didn't  feel like answering. 

"Tyson, what are you talking  about?" Thorn asks her pup and Tyson quickly glances at Arrow who just gives a nod of permission.  He felt more comfortable  with it.

"Arrow's sister attacked him again! It has happened many times before  we met Thorn. Arrow's family  hates him. They don't  think him being smart is important, that's  why he ran away. Now when they see him they try to hurt him." Tyson barks looking  at Thorn and noticing  the hurt and madness in Thorn's eyes.

"Tyson, take Dove home and tell the alpha's  I won't  be home tonight." Thorn  says and Tyson nods nudging Dove away from their Beta knowing  it was time for grown up times.

……

"Arrow, why didn't  you tell me that you had to deal with that, don't  you trust me?" Thorn asks later after walking  farther away to make sure Dove and Tyson weren't  spying on them again. Arrow just shook his head. Thorn was actually  the first female he trusts in quite a while.

"No it's  not that… I just don't  like talking about  my past life. Plus I  rarely see them. If I scent any member of my family  I avoid them." Arrow says and Thorns nods in understanding  it was just like how she felt with talking  about what Fang did to her. "Thorn, you think I'm  strong, but the truth is I'm  just a scared dog who tries to survive each day. Jeez I can barely  even hunt." Arrow mutters and Thorn just nuzzles him

"I understand  that, but Arrow, you are the  strongest dog I know. It doesn't  matter if you can hunt or lead. I needed your smarts. That's why I love you." Thorn says and Arrow nods. Thorn then takes a breath, "Arrow can I trust you to keep a secret, and not to react badly?" Thorns asks quietly  knowing she needed to tell Arrow about what Fang did to her.

"I promise." Arrow says and Thorn looks at all the love in her lovers eyes and nods as they continue  to walk stars staring to dot the night sky.

"Fang used me, he wanted heirs and threatened that he would hurt my pack. He did it so many  times and at one point I didn't  even feel like living. It was so horrible but…" Thirn started her eyes getting  wet. Arrow just licks her tenderly and lovingly. 

"You needed to protect  your pack, I get it. I used to feel that way when my parents  tried to hurt my sister. Unfortunately  it didn't  get me anywhere, but look at your  pack they're  fine. We both did what we had to do to survive, and just because  I'm  not your first doesn't  matter to me.I love you Thorn and I  promise that will never change." Arriw says with so much love and kindness in his voice and it makes Thorn  feel ten times better.

Thorn wags her tail she was so lucky to have this smart, handsome  dog in her life. Arrow is the first male she could ever trust and knowing that it didn't  matter t ok him. It made Thorn know he was the one she was looking  for.  Now just to convince  the pack of that.
