The Bug Problem

A/N: Hey guys i know its been a while, but I'm  back with more one shots for this book starting  with this one. That was strongly inspired  that actually  happened  to some broadway actor while live. So yeah anyways hope you enjoy if you do vote and comment 💖

Georgie  wipes her hand off on her apron after finishing  the prosthetic  on one of the actors, getting  ready for the show in about a half hour. "Well Diva Dog and Hero Dog we have a few minutes. Do you want to go get a snack from Jacob?" Georgie  asks, looking across the way to the stage where the actors were doing sound checks.

The two dogs just quietly bark their agreement. Georgie  heads out to where the usher is sitting, eating an early lunch. Today was a two show day. Which meant it was hurry up and wait today. So they had to eat while they could. "Hey Georgie, hi pups he says as Georgie  takes a seat beside her usher friend.

"Hey Jacob, enjoying the small break while you can?" Georgie  asks curiously  as Mira jumps on her lap, curling onto Georgie's lap. The usher nods looking   at the pups with a smile.

"So Pumpkin Pie and Miss Mira do yoo want some peanuts?" Jacob asks playfully and both pups bark.

"Yes!" The pups bark in unison. Jacob instantly understands and throws a few peanuts at them which the dogs snatch easily. They wag their tails briskly, looking  at Jacob with puppy eyes. Meanwhile Georgie  glared at him.

"One more and that's it deal?" He questions and the fogs nod in agreement and he threw another peanut to both of them. Pumpkin  and Mira just bark "Thank you." Georgie  on the other hand rolls her eyes, bumping his shoulder playfully.

"I swear you're worse than Lily with spoiling my pups." Georgie  says sassily and Jacob rolls his eyes, shoving Georgie  back playfully. Before Georgie's name was called . Causing her to get up and head back to the wings. Giving on last glance to Jacob.

"I'll  meet you for dinner after the show." She says and Jacob nods starting to head and open the doors for the show.

As they were waiting for the second  showing another few hours away the workers all went their separate ways to do different  activities; Georgie  went back over to Jacob who had just finished his job of herding  everyone out after the stage door. "I swear the fans can get crazy." He told Georgie  as they headed  outside for some fresh air. Well as fresh as the air in New York City could be.

Geirgie just chuckles, "Next time you need help just call my pups, I'm sure they would be great at herding people. Plus it would get them off my back for a while." Georgie  says, looking  down at her pups with a playful smirk.

It was Jacob's turn to chuckle as she looks down to Georgie's pups who look at their owners in shock. "I'll have to remember  that." Jacob says looking  down at them with a smile. Both dogs just huff and shake their playfully they  knew their owner and friend were just messing with them.

As they sat on the outside bench that was when heck broke loose inside. There was a loud shrill scream that sounded like someone was being murdered.This causes both the makeup artist  and usher to rush inside going to aid whoever screamed like that.

As they go in they head into the dressing room where the actors usually  hang out a lot on a two show day. "Turn the live off, turn the live off, one of the voices says as Georgie  quickly  opens the door to see the woman freaking out about seemingly  nothing. 

"What the heck is going on?" Georgie  questions  as Pumpkin pushes through, sniffing the air. She was also confused about what was going on before  noticing a few bugs on the floor.

"There's some kind of bug on the floor!" Cathy one of the main actresses  says both Jacob and Georgie  face each other sharing an eyeroll.  Georgie  looks at Pumpkin who immediately  understands her assignment and chases the bug toward Georgie  who grabs it with a napkin.

"Guys it's just a cockroach, we live in New York. Where cockroaches manifest. You should be used to this." Georgie  says not even phased by the bug as she opens the window and drops the bug outside.

"Did you really freak out on a live video?" Georgie  asks after a minute trying  not to burst into laughter. The thought of thousands of people watching the chaos Georgie  dealt with all the time. 

"Yep, but in our defense most of our followers were freaking  out as well." Another actress named Emma said and Georgie  chuckled a bit. She didn't  necessarily get why people were so scared of bugs, but she also lived in a rural part of Arizona where bugs were prominent and always around, so she was a bit desensitized to it by now.

 Pumpkin  then barks looking  at another bug on the floor and Georgie  quickly snatches it up.  And throws it outside before  someone else comes into the screaming both she and Jacob had witnessed just moments before. 

Now Jacob and I were about to order dinner. Does anyone want anything  from the Chinese restaurant nearby?" Georgie  questions  before  taking down everyone's  orders. Afterward she and Jacob leave to go to the restaurant with three actresses smirking  behind them.

"So at least we know what prank to pull at the Halloween  party this year." Georgie days playfully  as they go inside the restaurant. Jacob eyes  her and snickers as they quickly order.

"That's really what you are thinking  about right now!" He asks and Georgie  nods, making Jacob roll his eyes. Georgie  may seem like the calmest person in the universe, but she definitely  had a side you did not want to mess with.

"Yeah! Last Halloween  they ruined my lunch on a double show day! They are getting  it this year, and you're going  to help me." Georgie  says  confidently  and Jacob shakes his head. He wasn't  into those kinds of shenanigans. He left that to the cast members. Gosh knows they get into enough  trouble. 

Georgie  glares at him, "No way you know I'm  not into this kind of stuff." Jacob tells Georgie  who just continues  to stare him down eventually  leading  him to put his hands up. "Fine, but only this once on Halloween deal?" Jacob  asks putting his hand out and Georgie  takes it.

"Deal." She says shaking her friends hand and looking  at Pumpkin  and Mira getting an idea. "I will also need to borrow Bruno for it as well." Georgie  days and Jacob nods. He was curious what his friend had in mind. He looks silently  to Mira, looking  about as done as he is. With Georgie  and Pumpkin  working together it would be trouble for sure.
