"Isa pa, uuwian talaga kita!"

I laughed when Rye looked at me. Halatang inis na inis na sakin. One year had already passed ever since I leave Philippines and start my life here in New York. Isang taon na rin ng nawala si Yara at ang break up ko kay Elijah. But it felt the same. Masakit pa rin ang pagkawala nila sa buhay ko.

I was in a bad condition on my first month here in New York, but I never stopped in life. Pinagpatuloy ko ang buhay ko kahit sobrang hirap. I started modeling. I had more and more bookings since I came here. I liked getting my hands full to distract myself. Kahit nakakapagod, kahit malungkot.

I used to look in the moon and think of him. Nasa akin parin ang sumpa dahil sa twing titingin ako roon ay maaalala ko siya. Speaking of him... Wala na akong balita sakaniya. After months of breaking up with him, he deleted my photos on his Instagram. It hurts, baka ayaw niya na sakin dahil sinaktan ko siya.

"Iyak ka ng iyak, bat ka kasi nakipag break kung mahal mo? Tanga ka pala e," Rye said without looking at me.

Pinunasan ko ang luha ko at tumingin sakaniya. She could be a little nicer to me! Siya na nga lang ang meron ako inaaway pa ako. I remembered Yara to her kaya siguro naging close kami.

Rye is my makeup artist and my stylist. All in one actually! Kapatid siya ni Zia. Dito siya naka base since dito siya grumaduate ng college. Iisang building lang ang condo namin pero mas madalas siya rito sa unit ko dahil gusto kong may palaging kasama, kahit na napipilitan siya minsan dahil wala na raw siyang time sa sarili niya.

"Ryeia," I cried again. "Ang sakit pa din kasi,e... Bakit ko ba siya iniwan? Miss na miss ko na siya."

"Mag move on ka na. Baka nga naka move on na yon sayo e," She said without emotion.

The next day, I woke up so early because of Zia's call. She started talking about my schedule and my upcoming bookings. I got an offer on a big brand here and was invited to photoshoot and show. Zia was great! Having her and her sister made my life a little bit easier.

"Kisses! A pleasure to meet you!" The director gave me a warm embrace when I entered the studio for the photoshoot. "I've heard a lot of good things about you in the industry!"

"Thank you, it's nice meeting you!"

Rye had to do my makeup again before I put on the sleeveless crop top and panty. Sanay naman na ako sa ganitong mga damit dahil naka ilang shoot na rin ako sa mga lingerie brand dito sa New York.

I have a nice body because my diet and workout was strict. I can't skip a day. I have to discipline myself. Rye and her sister is pretty strict too. Lalo na si Zia she wanted to keeping my form dahil ayun daw ang puhunan ko.

The shoot was for new collection of bag and shoes, and I had to work with other models, too. We finished early, so I asked if I can leave. May lakad kasi kami ni Rye at sabi niya ililibre niya ako.
