"She'll be fuming when she wakes up." I opened my eyes and looked up to see my brother James standing over me. As I became more aware of my surroundings, I realized my head was on Remus's lap and the train must have rocked me to sleep.
There was a slight tickle on my face, almost like a pen.Oh my God.
"Black!" I slapped Sirius's hand away and quickly sat up. James, Remus, Peter and I were all sat in a compartment on the Hogwarts express going into our fifth year. James was sat obnoxiously relaxed taking up about three spaces on the seat opposite Remus and I. Sirius elbowed James to make him move so he could sit back down.
The four boys were in fits of laughter, I looked up at the boy who I had just used as a pillow. Remus. "I trusted you!" I gasped dramatically.
"When Sirius makes up his mind you can't convince him otherwise." Remus smirked and he was right. Peter was giggling uncontrollably, I think he was happy not to be the butt of the joke for once.
"Right let's see the damage then." I sighed "I hate all of you'' I told them as I pulled out a mini pocket mirror.
"No you don't." Sirius grinned, he had a leather jacket on with little badges of muggle bands. His dark curls were tied up in a man bun.
When I looked at my reflection in the mirror, I had glasses rather like my brothers drawn on, a big elaborate mustache, a big The Hottest Marauder Was Here across my forehead and a bunch of other doodles around my face. "you're a tosser." I told him but I couldn't help but return his playful grin, that contagious Sirius Black grin.
I stood up to go to one of the bathrooms on the train and wash it off. I kept my head down and covered the sides of my face with my hair so no one in the compartments I walked past would see. How embarrassing, I was going to get Sirius back.
After scrubbing at my face until it was completely clean, I walked out of the bathroom to go back to my compartment but walking down the thin corridor was Severus Snape and his gang of culty pureblood Slytherins.
Now my family was pureblood but we had binned off alot of traditions. It was common for purebloods to be disowned for being with muggles or even half bloods or muggle borns. Thankfully my parents were having none of that. Some families (like the Blacks) went as far as to marry their cousins to keep the bloodline pure. Sirius of course didn't fit in with them at all. He was basically a third child to my parents he stayed round our house so much.
"Oi y/n!" Severus called out and I rolled my eyes, of course I had a problem when he did bad things but I never started anything with him. Unlike my brother.
"What do you want Snivellus? Besides a bath of course." I responded calmly, really in no mood for interaction with these people.
"Where's Loony Lupin? Did they even allow violent idiots like him back this year? What about that half breed Marlene. Surprised you can be anywhere without her." He sneered and I balled my fists. God I wanted to jinx this prick. His friends all snickered at his comment like it wasn't completely unoriginal. One boy caught my eye this time though. I usually looked past his friends but this boy was tall with dark curly hair, blue eyes and that same defined bone structure Sirius had. I was looking into the eyes of Regulus Black, my best friends not so nice brother. I sort of pitied Regulus, knowing how his family were, but he made it hard. He gave me a cold stare and I returned it which only made him smirk.
"Well Remus is in a compartment thanks for checking up on him and uh Marlene is probably with Lily. But you want to know who else is with Lily? Not you. Run along now." I rolled my eyes and kept walking, feeling their eyes burning into me as I walked.
