Roxy pov
"You want pizza?" I asked him as I walked back into the living room.
"If you don't mind." He said as he brought his attention away from his sleeping daughter.
"If I had minded, I wouldn't have asked." I laughed as I walked over and sat on the floor in front of Leela. "Do you want to try waking her up? See if she wants food?" I asked as I turned to him, after opening the pizza box and folding it back on the lid.
"Fuck no. She's a little devil when you wake her up." He laughed as he sat forward. I scoffed at his words.
"Pussy. How could this little angel be such devil you speak of?" I asked as I lightly shook her body.
"Just watch." He dismissed as he sat back.
"Lee Lee, sweetheart, I need you to wake up." I said softly as I shook her a little harder.
"Go away daddy." She mumbled against the pillow.
"Ouch, I'm not your daddy Lee Lee." I laughed as Jaden scoffed at my words.
"Doctor Ro Ro?" She asked, she gasped when she opened her eyes. "Doctor Ro Ro." She squealed as she threw her arms around my neck. Jaden sat there gawping at me in disbelief.
"You were saying?" I asked him as I ran my hand through her brown, soft hair.
"You want pizza baby?" He asked, not answering my question.
"Daddy, my head hurts." She whimpered as she cuddled against his side.
"I know baby, but if you eat something, you'll feel better." He said as he sat her on his lap. I got up to get her a glass of cold water to help with the headache she will undoubtedly have.
"The room is turning daddy." I heard her cry.
I walked back into the room to see her crying into his shoulder as he ran his hand through her hair, and kissed the top of her head repeatedly.
"Baby, Doctor Ro Ro is going to help you." He whispered as she pulled away from his body slowly.
"Hi princess. Can you drink this for me please?" I said softly as I handed her the glass. She took the glass, still crying and started to drink it.
"It's really cold." She said as she tried to push the cup away.
"It's gonna help you baby, drink a little bit more, and then you can eat some pizza." Jaden encouraged as he took the drink from her hands, and brought it to her lips. She reluctantly drank a little bit more of the water before eating a small slice of pizza and two mozzarella sticks.
After we had finished eating, Leela was practically falling asleep against Jaden again. I knew it was too late for him to drive back with her, so I decided it would be best for them to stay here.
I quickly got up out of the room, telling Jaden that I'd be back in a second. I walked back into my room, and straight into the bathroom. I picked up the shower head and sprayed off the baking soda solution I had sat on the deep sets of blood, and it was surprisingly clean.
I then went back to my room, getting into a hoodie and sweatpants, deciding I was going to let them sleep in my room, and I'll sleep on the sofa. I walked out after throwing my laundry in the hamper and disposing of anything that had blood on it. I walked into the living room to see Jaden getting ready to leave.
"Thank you for the help Rox- Roxy, but I need to get her home before she's too far asleep." He explained, correcting himself with my name.
"No."
"No?"
"You're not leaving." I stated simply.
"I have to Roxy, I need to get her home." He explained.
"You can stay here for tonight, it's too late to drive back. Take my room." I instructed as I went over and locked the door.
"Roxy, no, I can't let you do that, you've already done so much for her." He argued.
"Sorry Hossler you don't have a choice, doctors orders, you must stay here tonight. Now," I said as I grabbed my baseball bat. "You can go there willingly, or I will chase you there." I said as I gripped it between both my hands lengthways.
"Fine, but at least let us stay out here." He reasoned, but I wasn't budging.
"Sorry I can't do that." I said as I put the bat down. "I can't let a damsel in distress and his beautiful daughter sleep on the sofa. To the room you go." I laughed as he rolled his eyes at my comment. He still didn't move so I decided to help him get there.
I walked over to him and grabbed his hand, pulling him down the hall. I sat him on the bed and gave him a stern look, telling him to stay. I went into my wardrobe, and got out a pair of the bigger sweatpants that I had, knowing they would probably fit him, and an oversized T-shirt.
"Go change." I demanded. He rolled his eyes, but took the clothes, thanking me, and then walking into the bathroom.
I walked out of the room and walked over to Leela's little body. I gently picked her up and carried her into my bedroom. I put her in the bed after pulling back the covers. She immediately curled up into a ball and snuggled against the mattress. I put a pillow next to her body, between her and the edge, already knowing that Jaden wouldn't let her fall off the bed, but just in case.
The door opened to reveal Jaden holding his dirty clothes and wearing the sweatpants I gave him. Apparently he's allergic to shirts and so he didn't put it on.
"If you wan you can put your dirty clothes in the hamper and I can wash them in the morning for you." I smiled after standing away from Leela's body.
"Why are you being so nice all of a sudden?" He asked with no malicious intent. It's a good question, I'm normally horrible towards him and... well everyone.
"I haven't worked in over a week so my stress level is right down low I guess." I shrugged, not really knowing the reason. He nodded as he put his clothes in the hamper and climbed into the bed next to his daughter, who immediately cuddled against him.
"Are you sure you won't let me take the sofa?" He asked before closing his eyes as he put his arm around Leela's small body.
"Goodnight Jaden." I chuckled softly at his stupidity as I walked to the door and shut it.
I walked over to the sofa, after turning the lights off, and allowed the darkness of my mind to consume me once again.
