Jaden pov

I heard everything she said yesterday. Talking to 'Liam' about her pregnancy. I mean I'm no doctor, but I don't think that it's healthy to talk to someone who has been dead for three years.

I also knew she was crying last night. I felt her turn around in my arms, and her tears fell onto my chest. I felt her snuggle in closer to me, but I knew she never fell asleep. She just laid there with her eyes closed, resting her forehead against my chest.

When I woke up, she was laid in the same position, with her forehead resting against my chest, but this time, she had her arms wrapped around my waist instead of folded up against her chest. I managed to slide out of her grasp, her immediately replacing my body with the pillow I was laying against. I walked over to her blinds and shut them better so that when the sun got higher, it wouldn't be shining directly into her eyes, allowing her to hopefully sleep for longer.

I walked out of her bedroom and was hit with a gush of cool air, making me shiver. It's only now that I am realising just how hot it gets in Roxy's room. But she doesn't seem to notice it. I was brought out of my little moment realisation by my phone ringing. Constantly.

"Shit." I muttered to myself when I realised that I had over twenty missed calls from my mother and two from my father.

I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it was only seven thirty, meaning we only really slept another three hours or so. Regardless, I pressed on my mother's contact and held the phone to my ear.

"You fucking asshole, I've been worried sick." Her voice screeched down the phone when the call connected through.

"Good morning to you too mom." I said back to her sarcastically.

"Have you only just woken up?" She asked, shocked.

"Mom, it's like seven thirty in the morning, when Leela isn't with me, I actually sleep past six in the morning. Believe it or not." I said to her as I sat down on the sofa.

"Why didn't you answer your phone? I was scared for you." She said sympathetically.

"I was asleep." I reiterated.

"Well, you better get up and get ready because your little princess wants to come home." She said as I heard Leela squealing in the background, probably trying to 'talk' to the pigs my mom has.

"You see, there's a slight problem about that one." I said in a guilty tone.

"And what would that be?" She asked, her bored expression coming through the phone.

"I'm not at home." I said simply.

"So you're telling me the first chance you got to get your daughter away, you took it so you can go and fuck someone?" She accused.

"What? No. Me leaving my house was never actually the plan, but then I got told something, and the person telling me ran out of the house before I could have time to react. I then spent a little while sitting outside their door waiting for them to come back, and then after we spoke about the decision made, I was too lazy to drive home so I stayed here. And besides I'm twenty three years old, what does it matter to you what I do in my free time." I defended.

"You're my son." She stated simply.

"Oh, because that's a plausible explanation." I said as one of the dogs barked.

"Daddy's at Ro Ro's house." I heard Leela say.

"And how would you know that munchkin?" My mom asked her.

"Because that was Creams bark." She said, I could tell by the tone of her voice that she had a wide smile spread across her face.

"Is this true Jaden? And who is 'Ro Ro'?" She asked me.

"This is true, and Ro Ro is what Leela calls Roxy, you know the doctor?" I explained.

"The one that was at your house a month ago, the last time I looked after Leela for you?" She asked in a teasing tone.

"For me? Mom, both times have been because you wanted to see her, not because I asked you too, first of all. And second of all, yes she is that one." I said to her.

My attention was brought back to the real world when I heard a door open and close. I turned around to see Roxy, stumbling around a little from having just woken up. I chuckled to myself quietly when I saw this.

"Mom, I've gotta go, Roxy just woke up, but I'll see you guys later okay?"

"Okay baby, bye bye now. Say bye to daddy munchkin." She said to Leela.

"Bye daddy, love you."

"I love you too baby, bye bye." I said as I heard her hang up.

I turned around to see Roxy sat on the floor, holding her knees to her chest. Not in a scared or panicked way, but more in a way that she's given up with trying to walk.

"Roxy, you good?" I asked. I saw her nod, but she didn't speak.

"You want a coffee? Or some food?" I asked as I walked closer to her.

"I'm pretty sure if I eat anything I'll throw up, and I don't drink coffee this early in the morning." She mumbled out, her voice hoarse from sleeping, and probably the crying yesterday.

"Well at least drink some water then, before you absolutely murder your throat." I laughed as I held my hands out to pull her up.

She nodded and looked up at me. Everything she did seemed like it was slow and heavy, and I know that's not how she normally wakes up, because she has been quite prepared to hit me quite a few times when she's first woken up.

"Are you okay bub?" I asked as she slowly stood up, grabbing a hold of my arm for support.

"Yeah, it's just my body's reaction to throwing up. Happens quite often." She explained as she wobbled her way to the kitchen.
