Roxy pov
"You're fucking crazy." I laughed.
"I am not crazy. It really isn't a bother." He argued for the fifth time.
"But I'm fine on my own." I said with hope in my voice.
"For now, maybe. But what if this was to happen again, but you hit your head instead? Or you fell on your stomach? What would happen then Roxy? I know you like to be independent, and that's fine, you can be here. You can stay in one of the guest rooms and you can be on your own for how ever many hours of the day you want. I just want to make sure that nothing is going to happen again." He explained.
"Okay, fine." I sighed, knowing that he wasn't going to budge with the decision he made. "But can you at least show me around the house. I wake up early and there is no way in hell that I am going to be staying in that room until someone comes to get me."
"You have been shown around." He teased, causing me to scoff.
"Your version of showing me around was carrying me up the stairs while kissing me, and then taking me back downstairs the next morning. The second time I came here, I was in your bedroom, the entry way, and out of the door. The only other place I have been to was the kitchen." I laughed.
"Are you saying my touring skills are inadequate for you?" He asked.
"Yes." I said bluntly.
"Ouch. That one cut deep." He faked his pain as he put a hand to his chest. I laughed at his behaviour and flicked him on his ear. "Ow, that one hurt for real." He whined as he held his ear.
"Suck it up buttercup." I dismissed.
"Oh, I'll suck something alright, but you aren't gonna like it when I don't let you cum." He whispered as he walked our of the main living area.
"See, this isn't so bad."
"Of course you're here." I mumbled as I turned to face him.
"Hello to you too. You can't play the 'I hate this' card with me. I know you're secretly happy about staying here." He said nonchalantly as he sat down on the sofa. "Decent place." He said looking around.
"You've been here before." I said to him.
"I have?"
"You're Leela's guardian angel aren't you?" I asked in an obvious tone.
"It doesn't work quite the same way. With Leela, I can only see other people and potential dangers. Everything else is just a black void, but with you, I can see everything. It's nice here." He explained as he leant forwards on his elbows.
"Yes it's nice here. But I still can't help but feel like I'm burdening him in every way. He has a fucking daughter for crying out loud. He doesn't need me coming in here and being a liability for him-"
"Roxella, shut up. He wouldn't have agreed to you staying here if you were going to be a liability. He's a grown man and can make his own decisions while thinking them through."
"Well then, by that logic, I'm a grown woman who can make my own decisions. Meaning I can make my own decision on where I stay."
"But the difference between you and him is that he thinks them through. Half the time you don't think through your decisions, and then the other half, you just simply don't care about the outcome. You can't continue to live like that when you are incubating human cells inside of you. You're making decisions for two people, not just one anymore." He explained to me.
"Oh fuck off Liam. I know how to make decisions properly, I spent almost all my life looking after you-"
"Yeah? And look at where that bullshit got me. Dead."
"You don't mean that Li." I whispered to him, his words physically hurting me.
"I mean every bit of it Rox." He said before he vanished. I know he lied. He called me Rox, he wouldn't call me that if he meant it. Nice try you little fucker.
"You ready?" Jaden asked as he walked back into the living room from wherever he went.
"Uh- yeah I'm coming." I said as I followed him.
He went through the entirety of the house. Showing me every room and a brief explanation of its contents. He made sure he left Leela's room until one of the last rooms because like we had both suspected, she insisted she do a room tour. After that, Leela had decided that she was going to take over the tour.
"And now here's daddy's room. Look." She said as she opened the door.
She ran into his room and jumped onto his bed. She spread out her arms and legs so she was laying like a starfish, and was just looking at herself in the mirror above his bed.
"Daddy has a big mirror Ro Ro." She beamed as she pointed to the mirror. My heart just melted.
"Does he?" I asked, acting surprised, considering she doesn't know that I already know what's in his room.
"Yeah. And he has balloons in little packets." She said excitedly.
"What?" Jaden and I asked at the same time.
"Yeah, look." She said as she manoeuvred herself on the bed so she was laying on her stomach, facing the nightstand.
She opened the drawer and took out the 'balloon' in a little packet. She took it out of the foil wrapper and started blowing air into it. She tied off the end and held it up.
"Ta da." She said excitedly.
I was trying so hard to contain my laughter, while Jaden on the other hand, looked mortified that he just watched his four year old daughter blow air into a condom and call it a balloon. He walked over and shut the drawer before turning to Leela.
"How many times have I told you not to go through the drawers?" He asked as he crouched down so he was eye level with her.
"But it was already open." She argued. He squinted his eyes at her for a second, trying to figure out what she meant, and then it clicked in his head.
"Was it opened by you, by any chance?" He questioned.
"I don't see how that is relevant to this conversation daddy." Is all she said before she got up and skipped out of the room, with her 'balloon' in hand. As soon as she had left, and shut the door, I collapsed onto the floor in laughter.
"That's so fucking cute. She's so innocent, I love it." I said as I had finally calmed down and leant against the wall, still sat on the floor.
"It's not cute, because as soon as she goes into school galavanting about the fact that her daddy has 'balloons in little packets' I will get some questionable emails from that school. And I'd hope she's innocent, she's fucking four." He groaned as he picked up the wrapper and put it in the bin. All the while I continued to laugh at his reaction. "I'm glad you find this funny." He scoffed as he walked back in.
"Oh, I do hope she comes out with more stuff like that in the time that I'm staying here. In the meantime, might wanna find a better place for them. Bathroom cabinet, maybe?" I suggested.
He grumbled something under his breath before opening the drawer, taking the rest of them out and putting them in a cabinet.
"I knew they were going down." He said as he walked back out, causing me to laugh again.
"And you didn't question it?" I said I between laughs.
"I thought that I had just miscounted them, not that my daughter was fucking playing with them." He said in defence, causing another stifled laugh to come from me.
