After my little meltdown, the traffic had started moving. I was still pretty shaken up, but I felt a lot better knowing there was no way that it was Jaden in that wreck.

When I pulled up at Ambers house, I used the key we have for her house and let myself in. I walked in and walked into the kitchen where I saw Amber stood there. As soon as she saw me she walked over and engulfed me in a tight hug. Almost immediately after I felt my eyes start to sting a little as I hugged her back.

"He's okay baby. Did he call you?" She asked as she rubbed her hand up and down my back.

"Yeah. Yeah he did. He had no clue what had happened. I was just so scared I had lost him and the last thing he remembered was us arguing." I said as I pulled away from the hug and sobbed a bit.

"Oh baby. He's not going anywhere for a long long time. He's got two little girls to see all grown up before he goes." She said as she stood to my side, still rubbing my back.

"How are you so calm about it?" I asked, laughing slightly as she did too.

"He may be 23 years old, but a mom has always gotta make sure. He has Life360 on his phone so I know where he is. I checked it as soon as you called me panicked. I had him call you for your own piece of mind." She admitted as I laughed a little, a few tears still streaming down my face.

"Why you crying mommy?" Leela asked as she came bounding into the kitchen.

I quickly wiped my eyes and sniffled my nose a little. I smiled and bent down to her level, opening my arms up for her to hug me. Which she did.

"I'm not crying baby, it just an allergy. It's the middle of summer don't you know?" I said as I tickled her sides in the hug, causing her to laugh.

She pulled away from the hug and kissed my cheek before running back to where ever she was playing. I stood back up properly and turned around to see Amber stood there with a warm smile on her face.

"Jordan is still asleep and she's been up since seven this morning." Amber said absentmindedly.

I smiled and nodded. I gave her one last hug before going to find my babies. I saw Leela was playing in the nursery next to Jordan's cot.

"What you doing Lee Lee?" I asked as I leant against the doorframe.

"I'm making sure Jordy is safe when she sleeps." She said as my heart melted.

"That's very sweet. She's lucky to have a big sister like you. Are you ready to go home?" I asked as she nodded and stood up.

"Is daddy there?" She asked me.

"Not right now, but he'll be home soon." I said as I watched her face drop slightly.

"Oh, okay." She said with a small smile.

I walked over and saw Jordan laying there, looking up at me with her big blue eyes. I saw her smile and she let out a little giggle when she saw me. I reached my hand in and ran it over her cheek a few times before I picked her up and cradled her.

"Hello baby. Are you ready to go home too?" I asked her.

She didn't answer because she's still a baby. Instead she looked around the room amazed at her surroundings.

"Come on Lee Lee, let's go home." I smiled down at her as she smiled back at me and grabbed my hand.

We walked downstairs and she let go of my hand to run and give Amber a hug goodbye. After that, Amber stood up and walked over to me and Jordan. She gave her a kiss on her little cheek before I put her in the baby carrier so she can sit in the car. Amber then turned to me and gave me a tight hug.

"Call me if you need anything okay?" She asked as I nodded.

She pulled away and left a light kiss on my cheek before we all walked out. I buckled Jordan in in the front seat so I can watch over her while driving, before walking around and buckling Leela in. I waved to Amber before getting in the car, buckling in myself, and driving off.

We got home a lot quicker than it took to get there. Jordan had fallen asleep in the car, so I took her and laid her down in her cot and took a baby monitor with me so I could hear her.

"Come on Miss Leela, it's time for a bath." I said as she shot you and ran into her bathroom.

I let her sit and play in the bath for half an hour before I washed her hair and got her out. We weren't going out anywhere else today so I told her she could put her pyjamas on if she wanted, which she did. Once she had dressed herself, I put her hair in french braids.

I went to wake Jordan up and took her downstairs where Leela was already sat waiting to watch tv. I quickly made Jordan up a bottle and went to sit down with Leela on the sofa. She picked out a movie to watch, surprisingly she chose to watch Thor: Ragnarok.

Once Jordan had finished her bottle and the movie had finished, I laid her down in the cot we kept in the living room, but moved it to the kitchen so Leela and I could make our dinner with her here. I made Pesto Pasta with fresh pasta dough and also made some garlic bread. I didn't know if Jaden would want any when he came back so I made extra just in case.

When Leela and I had finished eating, we went back into the living room to watch one more movie. It would have been more if she hadn't fallen asleep.

I laughed to myself when I noticed she was asleep on my chest. I stood up carried her upstairs. I laid her down in her bed, tucking her in. I walked back downstairs and carried Jordan upstairs and laid her down in her nursery. I took a baby monitor so I could hear her if she cries.

I went back downstairs yet again to quickly tidy up the kitchen before walking back upstairs into my room. I felt really sweaty and gross, so I decided to have a shower. I took the baby monitor into the bathroom with me and put it on the counter. I striped down out of my clothes and stood under the warming water.
