"Jaden? To what do I owe the pleasure?" I asked as I opened my door to see him stood there.

"Get ready." Is all he said as he walked into my apartment.

"For what exactly?" I asked as I followed him.

"I'm taking you out to thank you for everything you've done for Leela and me." He explained as he picked up Pepsi who was pawing at his feet.

"You don't need to do that." I said as I sat down.

"Quite frankly I didn't ask that question, and I'm not taking no for an answer." He said as he pulled me up by my wrist.

"Wow, never thought I'd ever hear a policeman saying that no doesn't mean no." I laughed as he rolled his eyes.

"Go."

"Where are we going?" I asked as I stopped in front of my bedroom door.

"Somewhere fancy." Is all he said.

"Well that's helpful." I said as I turned.

"I know, I'm always helpful." He said as I laughed and shut the door.

I put on a pair of high rise ripped jeans, with an off the shoulder black crop top. I paired it with a pair of heeled boots, that weren't too high, so I still wasn't taller than Jaden, and an earring that connected my industrial piercing to my normal lobe. I pulled the front part of my hair back into a clip, and curled the ends out. Finally I added a little bit of mascara and lipgloss before returning to my living room after spraying myself with perfume that smelt like macadamia nut.

I walked out to the living room where I kept my purses. I walked over to them and picked up a sleek black purse, and I put the chain over my body. I then grabbed a leather jacket in case it got cold and turned to see Jaden, eating another bowl of my cereal.

"When are you going to stop eating my cereal?" I laughed as he stopped chewing his food. He went to talk before I quickly stopped him. "If you are going to talk to me, you better swallow what's in your mouth before I break that bowl over your head." I warned as he swallowed his food.

"It was there." He argued causing me to scoff.

"Why do I feel like that that's something you've heard from someone trying to justify their actions?" I asked as he smirked.

"That's cause it is." We both laughed as he walked over and wrapped his arms around. "You look good by the way." He mumbled into my hair.

"I know." I laughed as he scoffed jokingly.

"Okay, now your ego has hit top capacity, let's go." He joked as he held open my door.

"Thank you kind sir. Wait I need to give the-"

"I already fed the dogs, don't worry." He laughed as he pushed me out of the door.

"Okay." I laughed.

"That was going so well." I laughed as he dropped one of the bread rolls.

After leaving the restaurant, he decided he was going to take some bread rolls in case he got hungry on the way back. He did not get hungry, but did get dared to juggle them. He was actually pretty good until he dropped one of them.

"I blame gravity." He said, making me laugh harder.

"Yeah, okay." I joked as I stood up properly and calmed myself down.

"Come on." He said as he walked over to his car.

"Where are we going now?" I asked as I sat in.

"My house." He stated as he started the engine.

"What about Leela? How's she doing anyway?" I asked, remembering that her surgery was over two weeks ago now.

"She's at my moms house, and she's doing great. The stitches are starting to itch her again, but she gets them out in a few weeks, so it shouldn't be too bad." He explained as he drove out of the parking lot.

"Put vinegar on it." I said.

"What?"

"The stitches, put a little vinegar on it. It'll soothe the itch and won't sting or infect her. It might smell just a little, and that's why you only use a little bit." I explained.

"That really works?" I couldn't help but face palm. As much as I tried not to, my reflex just wasn't fast enough to catch it.

"No. I just decided to tell you that for the sheer fun of it." I joked as he mocked me slightly. We both fell silent for a quick minute, taking glances at each other every so often before we both burst into laughter.

We finished the rest of the drive in a peaceful silence, as we just listened to the radio. I was just looking out when I realised that I've never actually been to his house. The only reason he's been to my house is because he just turns up. My thoughts were briefly interrupted by him cracking his neck while driving. I lightly hit him on the chest, causing him to give me a look before returning his eyes back to the road.

"And what was that for?" He asked, still looking at the road.

"For cracking your fucking neck. It's not necessary." I laughed as he rolled his eyes.

"It's a force of habit. I've been doing it since I was like seven. My mom couldn't get me to stop, and you sure as hell won't." He admitted.

"And what make you think that? All I need to do is get a scan of your bones and show you how worn down they will be from you doing that constantly." I said in all seriousness.

"Well as a doctor you should know that it's not even my bones. It's nitrogen gas bubbles popping in the synovial fluid." He said smugly. You think you did something?

"Okay mr science guy. You want science I can give you science. Your synovial fluid ultimately leads back to your bone marrow which is where the production of red blood cells come from. For the blood to have the most amount of oxygen, the cell has a bio-concaved shape. Nitrogen gas naturally pushes and expands things, which means it will push out the shape of the red blood cell meaning that less oxygen can get in because the haemoglobin is stretched further. Boom, science lesson." I laughed as he looked at me shocked for a brief second.

"No. Put Doctor Roxy away, I want fun Roxy back." He joking whined as he pulled into his driveway.
