Holden left pretty quickly. I stood by and watched him leave, to make sure he did, and his eye was already bruising.

Amber and Craig left soon after. Amber wasn't happy that Jaden and Holden got into an argument that got physical, but when Jaden emphasised that he was trying to protect me and Jordan, she let it slide.

Leela and Jordan both needed baths, but decided they wanted to go in the pool first. It was quite cold and so Leela wasn't very happy when we told her she couldn't go in.

"But why mommy?" She whined.

"Because baby, it's cold outside. We can't risk you getting sick now can we?" I said as I looked down at her.

"But I wanna play." She whined again.

"Leela, mommy said no. Stop whining." Jaden said as he walked in the kitchen.

"Fine." She sulked as she walked out of the kitchen and into the playroom.

"I'm not even going to attempt to get her into the bath right now." I said as I leant against the counter.

"But that means I have to do it."

"Yeah, but then I'd have to help Jordan, and that's arguably worse than helping Leela." I argued back as he scoffed.

"Why don't we just bath them together, kill two birds with one stone?" He suggested.

"Ugh fine." I playfully groaned as he laughed.

And that's exactly what we did. We sat them both in the bath, Jordan was sat in her little seat, and Leela was free to roam. I sat on the toilet as Jaden stood up by the sink. Leela asked to put the Frozen soundtrack on so he brought the Alexa in from our room and played it quietly. It was sat just outside the door.

"Mommy." Leela whisper-shouted to get my attention.

"Leela." I whisper-shouted back to her.

She waved her hand, motioning for me to come over. I was suspicious but did it anyway. She smiled cheekily at Jaden as I crouched down at the edge of the bath. Before I could react, I felt water trickling all over my body. I gasped and slowly stood up as my shoulders hunched. Jaden and Leela started laughing which caused Jordan to laugh too. She had no idea what was going on, she just started laughing.

"Okay." I said as she smiled up at me innocently.

"Daddy, you have to come here." She said to Jaden.

"I think I'm good over here princess." He said to her.

"Unfortunately for you, that wasn't an option. Get your ass over here." I said as I stood up and pulled him closer.

He sighed, knowing what he was in for. He reluctantly crouched down next to me and was almost immediately hit with water as Leela poured the full cup over him.

"Well how did I know that was going to happen?" He asked sarcastically and stood up, taking the hoodie he had on, off.

"You do her hair, I'm gonna go and get their pyjamas ready." I said as I patted his chest.

I didn't go far considering Leela's room is right next to the bathroom. I got her out a fresh pair of underwear and her bunny pyjamas that she's obsessed with at the moment. I took them into our room and then walked back to the bathroom.

"It's in my eyes daddy." Leela whined as she moved her head, causing the water to go down the front of her face.

"Well if you didn't move your head then it wouldn't be, would it?" He asked her as he gently wiped her eyes with his thumbs. "There you go."

He carefully washed the rest of the bubbles out of her hair and made sure there was no spots of shampoo left.

"Right, that's one baby nice and clean." He said as he lifted her out of the bath.

"I'm not a baby." She argued.

"You will always be my little baby, now go over to mommy so you aren't dripping water all over the floor." He laughed as she ran over to me.

I had my arms open with a towel. She ran into my arms and I wrapped the towel around her. I stood up and moved out of the way of the door.

"Come on, let's go get you changed." I said as I left Jaden to finish Jordan's bath.

She ran into our room, and almost jumped on the bed before I stopped her because she was still soaking wet.

"No, I wanna jump on the bed." She giggled as I held her back.

"You can jump on the bed when you aren't soaked with water." I laughed as I sat on the bed and stood her in front of me. "Turn around and I'll dry your hair." I said as I grabbed a smaller towel.

"Not with the hair dryer. I don't like it." The sound of the hair dryer has always scared her.

"No, I'll just towel dry it so it's not getting your pyjamas wet, and then once you're dressed I'll put it in braids for you." I said as I rubbed her hair with a towel.

Once she was dressed, I quickly put her hair in two french braids and she ran downstairs. I put her towel in the laundry basket and followed her.

I heard a lot of giggling coming from the living room, and when I walked in, I saw Leela sat on the sofa next to Jordan as Jaden was sat on the floor in front of them. Jordan had her hands in his hair as she was playing with his hair. Every time she would pull his hair really hard, he'd let out a painful groan causing her and Leela to laugh.

We ordered a pizza, and were just sat on the sofa watching movies again. It was around nine o'clock when the last movie finished. Jaden had Jordan curled up in his lap, and Leela cuddled up into his side, both of them asleep.

"They look too peaceful to move them right now." I said, grabbing his attention.

"Is that your way of saying you're too lazy to stand up and help get them off me?" He asked as he looked over to see a guilty smile on my face.

"Yes." I said as he quietly laughed.

He didn't say anything, but he did wrap his free arm around me as he pulled me closer to him. I leant my chin on his shoulder and looked up at him. He looked down at me and kissed my lips before I moved to lean my head on his shoulder. I felt him kiss my head a few times as I pressed play on another random film.

And that was how I spent the rest of the night.

Cuddled up with my family.
