Jaden pov
I woke up in the middle of the night to a voice coming over the baby monitor. I knew it wasn't Roxy because she was still sat on top of me. I gently moved her off of me and pulled the covers over her body so she didn't get cold.
I slowly walked out of our room after putting on a pair of sweatpants, and made my way to the nursery. When I opened the door, I saw Leela curled up on the floor with one of her blankets and a pillow next to the cot. Jordan was laid in the cot whimpering and crying quietly.
"Hey princess, what you doing?" I asked as I walked over to her.
"I was sleeping with Jordy. She was sad and you and mommy weren't waking up so I came in here to stay with her so she wasn't lonely. But she keeps crying." She said as she pointed to the cot.
"Awh, that's very kind of you princess." I smiled as I stood up and leant over the cot to pick Jordan up.
I went over and sat down in the chair we have in her room. I held her in one arm and patted my other knee, signalling to Leela to come and sit up with us. She did and quickly climbed up on my lap. I wrapped my other arm around her as she cuddled up into my chest.
Jordan wasn't crying anymore, so I just had to wait for her to fall asleep, which wouldn't take long. I watched as Leela lightly ran her fingers along Jordan's leg.
"Why is her skin so soft?" She asked as she looked up at me.
"Because she's still a baby. They always have soft skin because of how young they are." I explained as she looked back at Jordan.
"Why does she have no teeth or hair then?" She asked.
"She actually has quite a bit of hair, it's just blonde so you can't see it. And she doesn't have teeth yet because she's still a little baby, when she gets a bit older, in a few months, she'll start to grow through her baby teeth." I explained as she looked at me confused.
"She doesn't have hair." She argued.
"Yeah she does, she has mommy's hair. You can't see it now, but you'll see it in the morning." I explained.
"She doesn't have hair like you." She said as she crossed her arms over her chest, adamant she was right.
"What do you mean baby?"
"Look." She said as she pointed to my armpit. "Jordy doesn't have that hair." She said proudly.
"You're right, but that's because I'm a boy. Most girls don't have hair there." I explained.
I quickly lifted Leela off my lap so I could lay Jordan back down.
"But why?" She asked me as she followed me out of the room.
"Because most girls decide to get rid of it. Some keep it, some don't." I shrugged.
I walked into her room, but she didn't follow me all the way in.
"Leela?" I asked as I turned around to see her looking at our door.
"Can I sleep with you tonight?" She asked as she pointed at the door.
Fuck sake.
"Give me a second to go and ask mommy if she's okay with that and I'll come back out. Why don't you go a choose a teddy to come with you?" I suggested.
She shook her head and just sat down on the floor.
"Teddies don't come with me when I sleep with you." She said as she waited for me to go inside.
Okay, I guess that works.
I quickly walked in our room and left it open a crack. I opened the closet and grabbed out a random shirt I could find. I walked back out and carefully pulled it over Roxy's body. She was laying on the left side anyway so there was no need to move her over. Normally I wouldn't have bothered about covering Roxy as Leela's mother, but I already know she's gonna start asking questions and I don't want to answer them, nor do I have the energy to.
I walked back over to the door and saw Leela laying down on the floor, almost asleep. I laughed slightly and picked her up.
"Come on princess, let's go to sleep." I said as I wrapped her legs around my body to make it easier to carry her.
I carried her into our room and over to the bed. I moved the covers back on my side and laid her down in the middle, next to Roxy. I then climbed in next to her and shut off the light. She rolled over and rested her head on my stomach as she tried to wrap her little arms around me. I laughed to myself and wrapped one arm around her.

Roxy povI woke up at around six o'clock to a small body snaking it's way under my arms. I opened my eyes to see Leela resting her head on my chest as she laid down on my body. She must have come in in the night.
"Oh hello Peanut. When did you get in here?" I asked as I lightly ran my hand up and down her back.
"Yesterday after I helped daddy put Jordy back to bed." She said as she sat up and rubbed her eye.
"Why were you helping daddy put Jordy to sleep?" I asked her as she played with the ring on my finger.
"I was in there before he was. She was crying because she was sad so I went and tried to make her happy until you or daddy woke up. I was going to sleep in there with her so she wasn't lonely until daddy came in and got her to stop crying. Then I asked daddy if I could sleep with you and him and he said yes." She beamed as she then started to play with the hem of my shirt, something Jaden must have put on me before letting Leela come in.
"Well she's lucky to have a big sister like you then isn't she?" I said as she smiled and nodded.
"Shall I wake daddy up?" She asked as she pointed to Jaden's sleeping body.
"We can come back up in an hour and wake him up if he hasn't already. If he was up with Jordy yesterday then he must be tired." I said as she pouted.
"But I was up with Jordy and I'm not tired." She countered.
"Yes, but the difference between you and daddy is that you are a young energetic child. Your dad is an old prune." I said as she laughed.
"Great to know this is what you say about me when I'm not conscious Roxy." Jaden mumbled from next to us.
"Noo, go back to sleep I wanna wake you up." Leela whined as we both laughed at her.
