(Leela-12//Jordan-8)

Leela pov

"Hi dad." I called as I opened the door.

Mom was still at work and Jordan went home with her friend so they could do a project. The door was unlocked when I walked up and his car was in the drive.

"Hey baby, how was school?" He asked as he walked in from the kitchen.

"It was great, next week on Thursday I'll be staying back late for my drama exam and it could quite possibly go on till about five." I said as he nodded.

"Yeah, I got an email earlier." He said as I nodded.

I turned around to grab my books out my bag when he stopped me.

"What's that?" He asked, making me turn around.

"What's what?" I asked him confused.

"Turn around." He told me. I did as he asked and turned around. "Princess, you have blood on your pants." He said calmly.

"I have what?" I asked him.

"Blood, baby." He said again.

"Not again." I mumbled under my breath.

"The fuck do you mean not again?" He said.

Oh so he can hear me now but not when I'm shouting in response to him from my room.

"Nothing." I said before I made a dash for the stairs.

"Leela." He said after me as I heard his footsteps coming after me.

I ran as fast as I could to my room. I shut the door to my main room to slow him down a little and bolted into the bathroom where I could lock the door. It didn't take him long to be knocking on the door.

"Come on princess, just open the door." He said as he softly knocked on the door.

"No, go away." I shouted out to him.

I heard him sigh slightly, which made me feel slightly bad. I heard his footsteps get quieter but I know he didn't leave.

"Hey Roxy."

Why would you call mom!?

"You do realise I'm at work right?" She said when she heard my voice.

"Yes I do realise that, but I felt that you should know this. If you don't wanna know then fine I'll jus-"

"Don't you fucking dare hang up on me. You made me take my break so you can tell me why you called now." She said as I heard doors shut on her end.

"I'm pretty sure Leela started her period." I said.

"And what brought you to this conclusion?" She asked me.

"Okay, so I may not be one of the smartest people out there, but I'm pretty sure that when a girl had blood on her pants, there's a nine out of ten chance it's her period." I deadpanned to her.

"Okay, but what do you want me to do about that? At this very moment, there is little that I can do right now. I'm at work, so what do you suggest I do?" She said back to me.

"Tell me what to do so I can fucking help her until you get back dumbass." I said.

"Take her into our room and let her choose between the pads or the tampons, whatever she chooses, you explain how to use it." She explained.

"I'd greatly prefer if I could just give her the pads." I said back.

"What if she's more comfortable using tampons?" She countered.

"Then that's fair enough, but I genuinely think that's a conversation between mommy and baby. Not for me. I don't want to make her uncomfortable." I argued.

"That's fair enough. But are you sure you aren't the one that'll get uncomfortable?" She teased.

"Roxy, the amount of times I've had these conversations with you has made me immune to this shit." I said back.

"Okay okay. Go and help Leela, I'll be home at five." She said as she hung up on me. Fucking rude.

I put my phone back in my pocket and walked back into Leela's room. She was laid on her bed, on her phone.

"Oh hi dad." She said, acting completely normal.

"Nope. We are not going to pretend that didn't just happen." I said as I walked further into her room.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She said as she kept looking at her phone.

"Leela." I said as I took her phone to gain her attention.

"What?" She asked, obviously annoyed.

"You said not again. How long has this been happening?" I asked her, tracing back to earlier before she ran off.

"About two months." She shrugged.

"Two months?"

"Yes, two months. That's what I said." She said back.

"Drop your attitude. Why didn't you tell us?"

"Because I've been too busy working on our drama piece. I've been trying to keep my grades up, it just keeps slipping my mind. But I'm fine." She explained.

"No. Your health should never come second to your grades. What have you been using for the past two months then?"

"Pads. I'm not stupid." She stated.

"Where did you get them from?"

"Either your room, or the school nurse would give me one if I forgot. Mom showed me what they were a while ago just in case. She said I could use them if I needed to." She explained.

"What about today then?" I asked her.

"Accident. I didn't realise I had started and with some of the weird ways I have to sit for our performance probably didn't help that fact." She shrugged.

"Fine. As long as you're sure there isn't a problem, then things are fine." I said as she nodded.

She sat up with a smirk. I already knew she was planning something. She slowly stood up and walked to the door.

"Hey dad." She said, making me turn to her.

"What are you planning?"

"Last one to the kitchen has to make dinner." She said before she ran out the room.

I groaned and ran after her. The thing that was going to make her lose was the stairs. She can't even out her running to match the stairs, which made it easy for me to over take her. Until she jumped on my back.

"You're worse than your fucking mother." I laughed as she pulled me back and ran ahead into the kitchen.

"You can make fresh pesto pasta." She said in response.

I scoffed and stood up, walking into the kitchen as she lifted herself up and sat on the side near the stove.

"Can I have my phone back now?" She asked with a pout as she made grabby hands to me.

"No you can't. You just tackled me to the ground and demanded I make you food." I scoffed as I reached into my pocket anyway and handed her her phone.
