(Jordan-12//Leela-16)

Jaden pov

It was actually really quiet in the house. Which makes a change really. It's never usually this quiet. Leela and Jordan always find something to argue about.

Roxy went out to pick Leela up from a friends house, and they were going to go shopping. The dogs were curled up on the sofa a little away from me. And the last I heard from Jordan. She was upstairs sleeping. I almost jumped when my phone rang, breaking the silence.

"Hello Josh?" I said as held the phone to my ear.

"Oh, hey Jaden. Didn't actually mean to call you, but while I have, you can answer my question." He said, surprised to hear my voice.

"Only you could manage that. What's the question?" I asked as I leant my feet on the coffee table.

"Where do you keep your files. Laura said she knew but hasn't actually been in your office since you changed it around and has no fucking clue." He laughed as I heard doors open on his end.

"You know, I think the files might be in the big drawer labelled files." I laughed as I heard footsteps coming from the stairs.

"What drawer? I don't see a drawer." Josh said.

I looked over to my side and saw Jordan stood there in sweatpants and a hoodie she stole from Roxy. The chances of the hoodie actually being mine are highly likely. She also had her black, fluffy blanket wrapped round her.

"Josh. It's really not that fucking hard to see. Look at the filing cabinet, and look for the drawer that has files written across it in very big letters. You'd have to be blind if you can't see it." Jordan was laughing because I was talking to him like he was a child.

"Oh yeah. Okay thanks."

"You're welcome." I said in a bored tone as he hung up.

I placed my phone down on the sofa, and when I looked up, Jordan was stood in front of me.

"Oh hi."

"My head hurts." She pouted.

"And why does your head hurt?" I asked her, already knowing the answer.

"I don't know." I gave her a look that told her I already knew why and she sighed. "Fine. Leela came into my room and started annoying me, so I hit her arm and then she hit me round the head with a full water bottle twice as hard." She said.

"And now the truth?"

"That is the truth. She started it but I'm always the one that gets hurt."

"Okay. What do you want me to do about that?" I asked her.

"Can you cuddle me?" She asked as she held her arms open.

"I don't know. Should I?" I teased.

"Pleeeeeeeease?" She begged as a pout formed on her face.

"Come here nugget." I said as I held my arms open for her.

"Yay." She cheered as she jumped on the sofa next to me.

She shuffled around a little before she laid down, resting her head on my chest. She had one hand rested on my stomach as the other rested under her chin. She pulled her blanket so that it covered her entire body, minus her head, and some of mine. I wrapped my arm around her and ran my fingers through the tuffs on the blanket.

The blanket.

"Baby, this is your period blanket. That's probably why your head hurts."

"I mean, that's probably why it hurts on the inside, but Leela is definitely, 100% the reason it hurts on the outside." She said as she looked up at me.

"Well she is very violent, she gets that from your mom." I laughed as she nodded.

"Mom is scary." She said.

"Moms not scary."

"You're scared of mom." She deadpanned.

"No, I'm scared of annoying your mom, because then she does become scary." I countered.

"Uhuh." She said, not really interested in the response she gave.

"You okay?" I asked as she shook her head.

"My cramps hurt really bad." She pouted.

"Did you take a pain killer?"

"Yeah, about an hour ago." She said.

"My poor bebe." I pouted back to her as I ran my hand up and down her back.

She laid her head back down on my chest and was soon struggling to keep her eyes open. It wasn't long before her breathing levelled out and her eyes were completely shut. I decided to just continue watching the tv show that was playing, knowing I couldn't get up anymore.

I was sort of falling asleep when Leela and Roxy came in through the door, laughing. That completely woke me up again, and disturbed Jordan.

"Be quiet." I said, gaining both of their attention. I watched as Leela grew a smirk on her face. "Leela, I'm serious, she doesn't feel good."

"God you're so boring." She groaned as her face dropped.

"You are partly to blame." I pointed out.

"She's being dramatic. I didn't even hit her that hard." She shrugged.

"You shouldn't hit her at all." Roxy said as she walked back into the room.

"So, do you think she'd be annoyed if I did this?" She asked as she threw a bag of marbles at Jordan, hitting her head.

"Leela. Stop, just be nice and leave her alone." I said as Jordan whined slightly.

"Go away Leela." She mumbled as she sat up slightly.

"Shut up, stop being dramatic." Leela said back.

"This is your fault ass clown."

"Hey, don't talk like that." I said.

"Yeah Jordan, don't talk like that." Leela said as she mimicked me.

"Don't you have exams to fail? Go and do that dumbass." Jordan spat as she laid back down.

It was silent for a minute. But of course that had to be broken when Leela threw over a chocolate bar that was kept in the fridge. I couldn't tell if she was purposely aiming for Jordan, but she successfully hit her.

"I'm gonna kill you." Jordan shouted as she tried to stand up and run after her.

"Stop. That's enough. Jordan, sit down. And Leela, leave her the fuck alone. Seriously, you two are getting ridiculous."

"We'll if she wasn't such a fucking baby about everything then we wouldn't be here." Leela mumbled.

"Shut up Leela. You're actually so annoying." Jordan shot back.

"Leela, come with me baby." Roxy said as they walked outside.

"What was that all about?"

"She's the one that started it all. If you're gonna sit here and blame me for that then I'm going back upstairs." She said as she sat up and pulled away from me.

"I wasn't doing that Jordan." I said as she nodded.

"I'm gonna go to bed so that I can actually sleep without being interrupted." She said as she stood up.

"You need to eat dinner first."

"No I don't."

"Get your ass in the kitchen and make food." I said as I followed her.

"You're really annoying sometimes." She laughed as she changed direction into the kitchen.

"I love you too." I shouted back as she laughed again.
