Roxy pov
Amber and Craig had come in and walked over to Jordan. They started to congratulate me, and thank me for their granddaughter. I noticed that Leela had stayed by the door being extremely silent. She looked very upset, and almost guilty.
"What's wrong Lee Lee?" I asked as Amber and Craig had died down by now.
"I'm sorry I was rude to you Ro Ro. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings when I said you weren't my mommy. Can you forgive me?" She asked in a little voice that just made my whole body melt.
"Of course I do baby. It's okay." I smiled as she did too.
"Can I still call you mommy?" She asked again with a lot of hope in her eyes.
"You can call me whatever you want bub, I promise." I giggled as she squealed and ran up to the bed.
She climbed on the bed and wrapped her arms around my neck, giving me a tight hug. She rested her head on my shoulder as I wrapped my arms around her. I heard her gasp as she pulled away from the hug quickly.
"Is that my sister?" She asked as she pointed to Jordan sleeping in the cot.
"Yes it is." I smiled as I watched her stare at Jordan in awe of her.
"What's her name?" She asked as she leant over and lightly touched the baby's cheek.
"Her name is Jordan." I said as she smiled.
"Can I call her Jordy?" She asked as she sat back on the bed.
"You can call her whatever you want." I said to her as her smile brightened.
"Where's Jaden?" Amber asked, now noticing he wasn't in the room.
"Yeah, where's daddy?" Leela asked, also noticing the missing presence of her father.
"I don't know where he is. We were talking and I made a point he didn't like. He then fell silent and stared out the window for the best part of ten minutes and then walked out of the room without a word. He had been gone about half an hour by the time you guys came in and I have no idea where he went." I shrugged as I tried to hide the fact that I was worried where he was.
"I saw him in the canteen when we walked in, I just assumed he was getting coffee and then coming back." Craig said as he sat down on the sofa.
"I'll be back." Amber said as she walked out of the room, her high heels clicking against the marble floor.

Jaden povWhen she raised that point, I immediately realised what I said. I was so shocked by what I had said accidentally, that I didn't respond to what she said, and I think that got to her.
I knew she was crying. She does this thing where she'll pinch the skin on her hand to stop herself from verbally crying. When she laid down and faced away from me I could see how uneven her breathing was. I couldn't take it, sitting there, knowing I was the reason she is crying.
I left the room, but I couldn't bring myself to leave the hospital. I just went down to the canteen. I was trying to figure out in my brain how I managed to do the exact same thing. It's been over a month since Roxy has been legally Leela's mother, I don't know how I messed that up in my head.
I had just been sat there thinking, staring at the empty coffee cup in my hands for quite a while. There was movement opposite me, and a woman sat there. I couldn't be bothered to look up, until they grabbed my hands. I then looked up to see a woman I didn't recognise.
"Can I help you?" I asked as I pulled my hands away from her grip.
"Why is a handsome man like you sitting here, all alone in a hospital?" She said in a seductive tone.
"Nope, not interested. Go the fuck away." I said as I moved my fingers to continue peeling the small layer of cardboard on the cup.
"Why not? You look like you're very good in bed." She said as she ran her nails up my forearm.
"He's already said he's not fucking interested you slut. Now get the fuck away from him." I heard my moms voice say from behind her.
The woman rolled her eyes and got up. Not before dropping a piece of paper in front of me. Already knowing it's her number, I gave it back to her. She scoffed and walked away from the table as my mom sat down in her space.
"What the fuck was that about? Why were you talking to a whore?" Is the first thing she asked me.
"Did it look like I was fucking entertaining her bullshit? Because I fucking wasn't. I couldn't have been any less interested in that." I argued back to her.
"Why are you sitting here, when your fiancé is in the hospital room, having just given birth?" She asked in a softer tone as she leant back a little in the chair.
"Because I made her fucking cry." I said back, as simply as I could.
"How?" She asked as she leant forward and took the cup out of my hands, forcing me to look at her. I sighed and sat up properly from my previously hunched over position.
"We were talking about how I was still annoyed and angry with what Leela had said to her when before we left the house. And when I told her that, she said that Leela had said it to her instead of me, and so I should let her handle it. And instead of agreeing with her and allowing her to do that, I told her that as Leela's parent I needed to make sure she didn't do that kind of thing again out of natural habit. When Roxy pointed out what I had said, I was so shocked that I slipped up like that, that I didn't argue or protest with her. She probably thought that I didn't argue because I thought it was true and got upset and started silently crying. I couldn't deal with the fact that I made her cry, so instead of trying to comfort her in fear I'd mess things up further for her, I left to give her space." I explained.
"She doesn't need space Jaden, she needs help. She needs you to be there. She has just given birth to your beautiful babygirl, and needs to know you're there with her, not against her." She argued.
"But how can I be there for her when I say shit that makes her fucking cry? She doesn't need that." I argued back.
"You made a fucking mistake. Get over yourself. I really don't think she cares about what you said, she cares about the fact that you showed to her you didn't care. Get your ass up and got and help your fucking fiancé. She is in there with both your children and your dad. You don't need to say a fucking word about what Leela said, because that's been dealt with. Don't undermine the fact that Roxy also has authority over her as well." She said as she stood up and walked back out of the canteen.
