Who knew planning a wedding was going to be so stressful, but yet so stress free at the same time?

I don't know why, but Jaden seems to think that every idea he has he feels he has to run by me first like it's not his wedding too. Actually I think I do know why, but I was joking when I said it.

"You know, I've only just realised that I've never met your brother." I said absentmindedly as I threw the tennis ball up and caught it.

Jordan was seven months now, and Leela had just turned five. Jaden and I were going over the guess list when he mentioned his brother was going to be there.

"I don't really think that's a bad thing." He mumbled.

"Why?" I asked as I looked over at him confused.

"Oh that's really simple, it's cause he's an asshole." He deadpanned as he looked at me from his spot on the floor.

I tried not to giggle at his face. His deadpanned look was really contradicted by the way his glasses sat lopsided on his face. He looked like a little kid who just got told he couldn't have a candy, especially since his hair was a little messed up due to Jordan using his head as a balancing post.

"How so?" I asked, trying to understand more about this resentment he obviously had for his brother.

"Well there are many things about him that just scream asshole, but I'll tell you a story you won't like." He said as I nodded, waiting for him to continue. "Bearing in mind that he's only ever met Leela once, he acts like he knows everything that's best for her. So he first saw her when she was three. It was after a hospital check up and so she had a lollipop, one you would've given her. But this prick decided to turn to a three year old and tell her that if she kept eating lollipops and candy then she'd never have a body that a guy will want. He took the lollipop out of her mouth and stomped it into the ground. He then proceeded to tell her to shut up when she started to cry, and then called me a bad parent when I picked her up and hugged her when she came up to me crying." He said as I looked at him with an eyebrow raised.

"And we need to invite him why?" I asked as he laughed at my response.

"Because my mom said that if I don't at least invite him, then she won't be attending. I'm just hoping he's too far stuck up his own ass to accept the invite." He shrugged as he looked down at his phone screen that lit up.

I watched as his eyes scanned over the message several times. His eyes squinted as he tried to comprehend what was written. He then groaned and dropped his phone into his lap.

"Coincidentally, mom just messaged saying she has very kindly persuaded Holden to come to the wedding. She claims that she can't wait to see both of her babies in the same room again. Fan-fucking-tastic." He said.

"Great. So I'm gonna have to bite my tongue at my own wedding around a guy I've never even met because I know he's disrespected my daughter?" I asked as I sat up.

He sighed and nodded his head. He stood up and walked over to the sofa. He pushed me to lay back down like I was before and he sat down on the floor next to me.

"I'm sorry baby. Trust me, I don't want him there either. I don't want him saying anything about Leela or Jordan, but if I want my mom there I have to accept the fact that my brother will be there too." He explained as I nodded.

"No, I completely understand that. Just kinda sucks." I shrugged as he nodded.

"Have you tried getting in contact with your brother and sister, or your parents?" He asked I scoffed.

"No. Of course not. I don't want them there." I said defensively.

"Okay, but don't you want Leela and Jordan to meet their grandparents. Or have an aunt and uncle that aren't assholes?" He asked as I stood up and walked away into the kitchen.

"Aren't assholes? You'd be better off going to a class on how to give anal and not finding an asshole than you are looking at my family. Look, my parents were never there during mine or Liams childhood. They had Ryan and Sophia and were happy. Then I came along and they weren't happy. And then Liam came along too. As far as I'm concerned, they are all just people in this world. They have no form of relationship to me. I only have one family member, and his legacy lives on my wrist in black ink." I said as I pointed to the tattoo I got in memory or Liam.

"Okay, okay. I'm sorry, I know that was too far." He said as he walked over and embraced me into a hug.

"So it looks like our daughters have no family on my side, an asshole for and uncle on yours, and an amazing pair of grandparents?" I recited as I rested my chin on his sternum to look up at him.

"I guess so." He shrugged as he leant down and kissed my lips.

"If he says anything about my daughters I swear to fucking god, I don't give a shit what day it is or whose watching. I will drag his ass out of the venue in my dress and six inch heels." I threatened as he laughed.

"Oh I know you will. I plan on setting up a betting programme before the wedding, see how much money we can make from it." He teased as we slowly rocked back and forth in our place, still in each other's arms.
