Roxy pov
"You don't look so good Roxy." He said as he followed behind me.
"I promise you, this happens every time I throw up. It's not abnormal and is a natural reaction. I don't throw up often, and when I do it's normally pretty bad, so the disorientation is normal. I'll be fine once I've had some water and gotten my head in the game." I assured as I grabbed a bottle of water out for myself and him.
"Are you sure?" He asked as he took it from me.
"Yes." I smiled after I took a few sips.
"So you'll be okay if I went home and got Leela from my mom?" He asked wearily.
"Oh my god. Jaden, your daughter should still take priority over me. I'm a grown adult, I'll be fine. Go spend time with your daughter." I laughed.
"But you-"
"If you finish that sentence you won't live to see this child's birth." I threatened as I pointed at him. He put his hands up in mock surrender.
"Okay, okay fine. I'll leave in an hour." He chuckled.
"Bitch." I laughed as I walked over to the sofa and sat down, I rested my legs on top of the coffee table, and leant back.
He laughed as well and came over to me. Instead of being a normal human being, and sitting next to me, this man child decided that the comfiest way for him to sit would be for him to rest his head on my lap, causing his legs to hang off the edge of the sofa. I laughed as he looked up at me with a goofy smile on his face. I ran my hands through his hair as he shut his eyes and leant his head against my thighs. He turned so he was facing my stomach.
However he decided that that wasn't enough for him, and he needed to be closer. With that decision in mind, he lifted the bottom of my hoodie, and moved his head so his nose was brushing against my skin. He then dropped the bottom of my hoodie back on top of his head and sighed. I felt my stomach retract slightly as I felt his breath constantly hitting my skin.
"Why is it so warm under here?" He asked, it coming out mumbled from the fabric.
"I was literally just cuddled up under the fucking quilts and blankets for a while and also you are right below my boobs. Which as you learnt last night, trap heat." I explained as I lifted the hoodie slightly so I could still play with his hair.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to do your doctor knowledge off duty?" He groaned.
"Suck my dick." I laughed.
"I mean, you don't have a dick, but I can arrange something else to be sucked if that's what you wish." He teased as he lifted his head out to look at me.
"Suddenly I think you've overstayed your welcome." I joked as I ran my nails over his shoulder, watching the goosebumps form on his skin. His body shivered under my touch and he whined.
"Don't do that." He pouted.
"Why?" I laughed at his reaction.
"Makes my fucking skin crawl." He mumbled.
"Okay, what ever you say." I laughed as I gripped his jaw.
I brought his lips to meet mine. He took his hands and caresses my cheek lightly. He quickly slipped his tongue into my mouth and started to make out with me. He managed to move us so I was now straddling his lap, and he was sat straight against the back of the sofa. He slowly pulled away, taking my bottom teeth between his lips as he did so. I giggled and rested my head on his shoulder. I turned my head so I was facing his neck and I reached my hand up to play with the tuffs of hair at the bottom of his head.
"You need to wash your hair." I said randomly.
"I know."
"It smells like the hospital. You could also do with a haircut."
"I am aware."
"But don't get rid of the blonde. It's hot."
"Is there anything else you would like to note about my hair, or is that it?" He said sarcastically.
"If you get a skin fade, I will never speak to you again." I said in all seriousness.
"Get a skin fade." I heard him playfully mumbled. I pulled on his hair and he groaned. "You shouldn't play a game you can't win Miss Hawthorne." He warned as he removed me from his lap and pinned me onto the sofa.
"You have to leave soon, otherwise your daughter will beat you home. You shouldn't be playing a game you won't win." I mocked as I squished his cheeks.
He laughed and pushed himself up, pulling me up with him. He stood all the way up, while I remained seated. I watched as he walked around the apartment, collecting the several items of clothing he had lying around. While he was walking around, I was trying to find the energy to stand up.
I lied to him earlier. Well, sort of. The reason I was stumbling around was because of my body's reaction to the morning sickness, the pounding headache I had forming was not. But I didn't want to cause him to worry and take him away from Leela, so I hid it.
He was finally finished faffing about, and I decided to just suck it up for the last five minutes he was here. I slowly stood up and walked over to him. He wrapped his arms around my body and pulled me against his chest. I returned the favour and snaked my arms around his waist, as I felt his head rest against mine. I heard him placing soft kisses on the top of my head, before pulling my face out of his chest and kissing me.
"I'll see you soon Ro Ro." He said, mocking Leela's voice at the end.
"I'll speak to you later Jae." I smiled as I kissed his cheek and released him from my grip.
I walked him to the door and opened it for him. He thanked me and kissed my cheek, before walking off and disappearing into the elevator.
As soon as I saw him out of sight, I sighed and slid down the door, exhausted from just standing up.
