Rakshit's POV:

Fortunately Neil was running late for the bus and we were told by Miss Clarke that his chances of joining us were bleak. As my eyes raked through the group of students to watch Drishti for whom another surprise was waiting  I felt a hand on my shoulder that came along with a kiss.

"Tell me your best friend is clingy without telling me your best friend is clingy" I sighed as I wiped off Vicky's kiss from my cheek.

"I ain't clingy! Please!" He exclaimed showing me his hand before starting with the tale of 'How he managed to get Alvina sign up for this trip'

Translating which it would sound like 'How he managed to get his girlfriend killed' for I could see Drishti watching her with hateful eyes.

After living with her for this time I already knew that she was possessive for the few people that were in her life and were actually special to her, or at least made her feel special.

In spite of the anger she still held onto for her father, she would never fail to punch that person who would curse her parenting, adding the sentence "My dad loves me" at the end. She would also be calling Romi every Sunday when she had time, and Divya every alternate day for her friendships here were questionable.

A part of her was changing but another part which was still Drishti held onto her, she never took anyone of her status, this time even leaving the rich kids claiming that they didn't deserve her friendship.

"Look here they come!" Vicky signaled at a frowning Romi And a chirpy Divya who were coming towards us with Romi holding Divya's luggage, clearly indicating that they had fought over something from the way he was mouthing a series of 'sorries'

"Now where is my Drishti!" Asked Divya, to which Vicky pointed towards the direction in which Drishti was standing. "Great! We will meet you guys soon at the camp after we surprise her, rest a lot follow me my loyal servant!" Before walking away she side hugged each one of us with Romi left with the still frowning face.

"Never ever watch couple pranks on YouTube and don't even dare to do one, especially pretending that you are going to hit your girl" he scoffed in dismay as he pulled the bags all the way towards the girls.

"Haha Poor he" Giggled Vicky who forgot that his own girlfriend was at the verge of breaking up with him.

We watched as they surprised Drishti by hugging her from behind before a series of tickles came her way. Drishti looked overwhelmed at the sudden surprise, relieving her that she wouldn't be all by herself on her trip.

Last night she told me that it would suck being alone at the trip, when I asked her to be with me she simply laughed it off saying 'and disclose our marriage, wow' Even if that was meant to be a joke, it had always been easy for her to just talk it off like marriage was a little thing for her.

Even if she was changing, it would take time which I was ready to give her only if she tried to change which she wasn't willing to, most of the times.

Whenever a change was evitable, she would do something proving that change and Drishti are scarce cater cousins but anyhow, some day she will understand.

The principal announced the departure and the students got into the buses, everyone but Drishti who stood in a dilema. Before I could see what she was looking at, Vicky pulled me with him.

Drishti's POV:

Maintaining a safe distance, I glared at the person who seemed to not notice me right now as I reached the bus which would be taking us to North/South Lake Campground, the place I used to visit the most with my parents, especially a month after my birthday which was mom's birthday, for it happened to be my mom's favorite destination.

Father

How did I not get the idea?

Dad was standing with the principal of the school. I watched them as they shook hands with each other making me understand that it was all planned out.

Who would say that Rakshit was not a part of it?

The whole trip thing was planned out and they thought I'll never know about it. Rakshit never spent any money for this and I was thinking that he might have spent something which was why I cut out some items for this camp.

He lied this morning when he said that the destination was a surprise for it was a plan.

As for dad, the same man did not care to come and meet me on my birthday was here, arranging the trip wanting to show that yeah I care when I don't.

"Hurry up students" The teachers called the remaining students to the bus for the departure. While watching my father with the feeling of disbelief, I entered the bus where my eyes met with the same pair of deep brown ones that faked innocence.

Even our bus number was Similar which was clearly another set up. He was standing there, arranging his luggage in the upper trunk while blocking my way.

He broke my trust again, so he did not deserve to be in my good books. I hate you for that Rakshit. Pretending to be a good person to get married to a rich man's daughter who turned out to be actually stupid to not see through, what an easy jump to money when you can't have it.

"Keep this too and move aside pinhead" Throwing my bag at him I pushed him towards the seat where Vicky was seated giving me a disgraceful look. Passing him I sat with Romi and Divya who had seated themselves at the seat just at the back of Rakshit's.

Much more to my pleasure as I seated myself, I saw Alvina coming towards them and sitting near the window seat.

This was going to be a long trip.
