Drishti's POV:

Just two left for my ruin. I stopped going to the college. All day I would be sleeping or sobbing. I was a prisoner in my own room. My own father locked me to prevent me from budging away.

I kept staring blankly at the walls cursing my fate and thinking of how pathetic my life was going to be.

What a cheap turn my life took!

I kept deciding which outfits I would take to his tumbledown hut. Leaving a mansion! Sarthak Sharma gave me a limit of only 15 outfits and 8 footwear. He seized my cards and everything.

"Princess." He entered the room bringing a wedding gown for me. "This one you used to admire na?"

He still remembered how madly I was in love with that gown. On getting no reply he again tried to talk. "Princess?"

"She died."

"Why are you saying this princess?" He tried to console me but this damage wasn't meant to be repaired.

"Keep your pity to yourself Sarthak Sharma." I looked out of the window. He sighed in melancholy and kept the gown there only.

"Fine. But I love you princess."

"But I am mad at you dad" These words were enough to make him exit the room. Everything was going so messed up with my life that a moment I wanted to kill that damn guy. I don't even know his name.

There was a knock at the door and soon Stella entered as I permit her.

"Princess your father seeks you for dinner."

"Tell him I ain't hungry and don't call him my dad."

"But Princess..."

"Are you actually trying to tell me what to do?" She burst out laughing at me which rose my anger more. It was like fire to gasoline.

"Oh Drishti. You are gonna be a poor rugged girl too! No money no fame. Normal dresses. No expensive cars, No nothing!!!!"

She was laughing continuously. Soon I could hear the laughs turn loud and loud. My entire room started rotating like earth.

Stella disappeared and many more laughs were heard. The hoodie girl,  Lavanya, Luke, the bar tender and many more.

Flash!

I opened my eyes with a jerk. Perspiration covered my entire body and I was racking after the nightmare. No! I can't afford to marry any stranger.

I rushed downstairs only to find dad talking to a man. He had a handsome and bold countenance with resolute pair of dark black orbs. I reached them and stood there, tears flowing down my face.

"Please dad. Don't do this to me. Plz plz plz. I will behave. I will change. Trust me." I fell at his feet but the expressions he held on his face didn't change at all.

"Get up Princess." I got up thinking he might be feeling pitty for me. "This is Rakshit. Your to be husband." I looked at the 6'4" and widened my eyes in disbelief as I was being introduced him like it was so normal a meeting.

"You! What do you want? Money, fame, property? What the hell do you want from me? What did you do to my dad? Tricked him just because he is so sweet and innocent"

"Behave Drishti!!!!" He raised his voice at me.

The word Drishti from his mouth made me numb. He never called me Drishti.

"You shouted at me. Again! For this man! You never shouted at me like this? Why today?"

I held up my tears and looked at the man who actually held me from falling when I was backing and crashed into the table.

"Don't touch me you" I pushed him light, making sure he did not fall on the ground.

"Drishti!!!" He was about to raise his voice again but stopped in the midway as he looked at my hurt elbow.

Yesterday I hurt myself by mistake.

Pretty clumpsy, yeah!

From my childhood his expressions at my smallest to largest wounds didn't change a bit.

"What stopped you? Yell at me once again. Why you stopped dad. Fake! Everything was fake! You, your so called love, your care! Everything! If you want me to die then you should have directly poisoned me!!"

Was I over reacting? No. I wasn't.

"Princess...."

"Don't talk to me! Consider you lost a daughter and I lost a father. Keep your company and property to yourself. I don't want a penny from it" I turned to go but stopped near Rakshit. "I will make your life hell! Get ready to enjoy!''

No one's POV:

After she ran to her room Sarthak broke down crying. If not for Rakshit he would have died in the guilt.

"I am sorry Rakshit"

"Why are you apologizing dad?" After a console session both sat down to talk.

"So, still you will marry her?" Sarthak was expecting a no, especially after considering the fact that he was a great man and Drishti was his comolete opposite.

Who would agree to marry such a stubborn and unmannered girl?

"Yes dad" The reply was unexpected which made Sarthak startled.

"Why?" Did you hear her cursing? She pushed you. She can't-"

"Don't worry dad. I will handle her" He assured her.

This man was unbelievable. How can someone be so calm and normal. Sarthak thought in his mind.

"But Rakshit......"

"I am here. So don't worry"

For Rakshit he saw the same person in her that he had been once. He had not always been so calm and polite but had to work a lot on himself to become the man he was today.
