To Rise Up

I quickly sat up and looked around at my surroundings. Finally, my eyes landed on Katsuyu. "What happened?"

She seemed to be shocked. "Lady (Y/N), your eyes..."

I was confused. I pulled out my kunai to look at my reflection and saw that one of my eyes were purple with black lines. "The Rinnegan..." I breathed. So that's what he meant when he said he would give me some of his power. (A/N: just a heads up that I don't actually know much about the Rinnegan and its power so (Y/N) probably won't do everything that Sasuke can do but we'll see how I go writing it)

Before I could examine it further, I realized that I couldn't sense Naruto's or Sasuke's chakra.

I turned my narrowed gaze back to Katsuyu. "Lady Katsuyu, what happened to Naruto and Sasuke?"

"Naruto had the Nine-Tails extracted from him and is in critical condition. As for Sasuke, he was defeated by Sasuke".

I nodded in understanding. "And who are treating them?"

"Orochimaru is on his way to Sasuke". So, Karin was treating him. "Lady Sakura is treating Naruto, but she's out of chakra".

I nodded again. As the leader of the Allied Shinobi Forces, I knew where my priorities were, especially with the sinister chakra I sensed coming from where I sensed Sakura's chakra. "I'll have to leave Sasuke to Karin, Sakura needs my help". I turned to Katsuyu one last time. "Thank you, Lady Katsuyu". Then I teleported away.

I landed right next to Sakura to see her with her hand in Naruto's chest, Minato next to her, Gaara a few meters away, Kakashi Sensei in front of us and in front of him was Obito Uchiha – who was half-covered in Black Zetsu – and Madara Uchiha – who now appeared to be the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki. It didn't take me long to figure out what was happening.

Sakura was staring at me with wide eyes. "(Y/N)..."

I interrupted her. "Dry your tears, Sakura. Now is not the time for waterworks". She nodded in determination. I placed my hand over Naruto's heart as I started healing him with my Medical Ninjutsu. "Sakura, when I say, let go of his heart and remove your hand from his body. Now!" She did as I asked without question.

I looked around, analysing the situation.

I took a deep breath. "Kakashi Sensei, you handle Obito and Madara. Gaara and Lord Minato, provide backup. And Sakura, you're with me. I'll need your help".

Everyone stared at me with wide eyes. It was clear they were surprised by my sudden authority.

"Did I stutter? Go!" At my orders, everyone ran to their designated stations.

One hand still on Naruto's chest, I held my other hand out to Sakura. "Take my hand and place your other hand where mine is," I ordered.

Hesitantly, she placed her hands over mine. I closed my eyes as I transferred some of my chakra to her. I could feel her staring at me with wide eyes as she felt the transference. "(Y/N), you... Are you going to be okay?"

"I'll be fine," I replied as I opened my eyes, my snake-eyes activated so I could check on the snake I had sent to Sasuke before coming here.

I looked up at Obito, who was staring at me, and sent him a confirming nod. Seconds later, the three of us were being transported using the Kamui.

"I can feel your worried gaze, Sakura," I noted, my gaze locked on Naruto's unconscious body.

"It's just... you're using up so much chakra at once," she replied, hesitantly. "What if you run out and pass out? Or worse?"
