He took us to the forest. He told us that in order to master the use of chakra, all we had to do was climb a tree. He then demonstrated by walking up a tree simply until we were upside down. He threw a kunai at each of us and told us to mark the point we got to before we fell and try to surpass it. He also said giving a running start could improve our chances.

Taking a few big steps back, I ran towards the tree and started running up the tree. Before I knew it, I had made it to the lowest branch. I looked over and heard Sakura say, "This is fun!"

"I agree with you for once," I said to her with a smile. I looked down and saw Sasuke staring at me with his mouth hanging open. I winked at him. I guess all that training with my parents and Itachi paid off. I looked ahead to see another crow perched on a tree. 'I guess they're everywhere,' I thought before rolling my eyes and looking down to watch Naruto and Sasuke.

Even though I had already done it, I kept practising to try and master the skill. Eventually, I was all worn out. It didn't matter though, I had finally surpassed Sasuke in something.

Because Sakura and I had already mastered the technique, Kakashi Sensei told us to guard Tazuna at the bridge he was building so we spent the rest of the day there.

We had dinner at Tazuna's house. Naruto and Sasuke seemed to get a lot more competitive with each other. They were eating their dinner really fast then asking for seconds before they threw up all over the floor. I facepalmed. 'What the heck happened out there today?'

After dinner, Sakura was staring at a photo on the wall of the family, but someone's face and body were torn out. "Excuse me, this picture is all torn, is there some reason for that? Inari, you kept glancing at it all through dinner. It looks like there was someone else in the picture, but they got torn out. I mean, it's kinda strange, isn't it?" Their bodies stiffened and they went quiet.

'That girl really knows how to ruin a mood, doesn't she?' I thought as I turned to look at Tazuna.

Inari got up and left, forcing his mother to chase after him. We all turned to Tazuna as he told the story. Apparently, the guy, named Kaiza, was once known as a hero in the land. He was a travelling fisherman who met Inari after saving him from drowning, and Inari came to rely on him heavily. He became revered as a hero when he single-handedly saved a large portion of the village from a flood. However, when Gatō arrived, he had Kaiza killed in an attempt to destroy the hope of the land, which he succeeded in. That's when I decided to do whatever it took to save the land.

Since then, Naruto and Sasuke started spending a lot of time training. One night, they were training late into the night and they were missing dinner. I was starting to get worried about them. I was considering going out to check up on them when the door opened and Naruto and Sasuke walked in all battered and bruised.

I rushed up to them and started healing Naruto because he seemed to be in worse shape than Sasuke. "I swear, you two are going to be the death of me," I commented with a smile as I finished healing Naruto and moved on to Sasuke. After that, the two of them joined the rest of us for dinner.

After dinner was over, Inari stood up. "All this stupid training is just a waste of time! Gatō's got a whole army, they'll beat you down and they'll destroy you! These cool things you all say, they don't mean anything! No matter what you do, the strong always win and the weak always lose! You don't know anything about this country, you're just butting in! All this laughing and playing around, you don't know what it's like to suffer and be treated like dirt!" I clenched my fists.

Naruto stayed quiet for a while before he spoke up. "Listen to yourself, whining and complaining like some sorry little victim! You can whimper all day for all I care, you're just another coward!" After that, he stood up and walked away.

"He went too far," Sakura pointed out.

I stood up. "No, he's right," I said before walking away just like Naruto.

I got to my room and used the window to climb onto the roof. I sat on the roof staring at the moon. I hugged my knees and buried my face in them as I let the tears flow freely. He was one who didn't understand what it was like to be treated like dirt! I remembered when people whispered about me on the streets or members of the clan would yell at me for no reason until Itachi or Uncle Fugaku came to my rescue.

I was interrupted from my thoughts when I heard a "Caw!" sound. I looked to my left to see a crow perched on the roof. A second later, I saw Sasuke climbing onto the roof from his room.

I wiped my tears. "Be careful, you might scare him away," I said, indicating behind him. He turned around and saw the crow. "I've been seeing him a lot lately, ever since the anniversary of my mother's death".

I watched as he sat down next to me. I voiced my thoughts to him. "It's not fair! They're so lucky, and they have no idea how much!" He didn't say anything, I didn't expect him to anyways. After a moment of silence, I asked him the question that had been weighing on me for a while. "Do you still want revenge?"

He turned to look at me. "Do you?"

"Of course I do! That man took my family away from me, he has to pay!"

"I feel the same way, but about Itachi," he said.

I looked at him with a smile. "In that case, I vow to do everything in my power to help you achieve your revenge". If only I knew that that was one vow I would break.

We went back inside. As soon as I landed in my room, the door opened and Sakura walked in. As soon as she saw me, she sighed. "Seriously, that Naruto! He has no consideration!"

I looked at her coldly. "If you ask me, it's you that has no consideration". Her eyes widened in disbelief. I walked over to her. "You have no right to judge him, or any of us for that matter! You saying all that mean stuff to Naruto and looking at me with the same disgust that I've no doubt your parents look at me with! Even the way you treat Sasuke, fangirling over him because of his cold attitude and his skill! You have no idea what we've been through! You don't know what it's like to have everyone whispering about you on the street or to be ridiculed, all because of something you have no control over! So don't you dare judge us like that because you have no right!" Without waiting for a reply, I walked off and crawled into bed with my back facing her, letting the tears fall once again. I have to admit though, it felt good to finally give her a piece of my mind, she deserved it.
