My eyes widened in concern. I refused to let anyone else die, especially knowing there was something I could've done to save them. If I could just get enough strength...
My eyes widened even further when Obito teleported the bone heading towards Kakashi away. In that one millisecond, Obito's act gave me an idea. Using all my strength and chakra, I managed to teleported the bone heading towards Obito to me. I just barely managed to dodge it and it landed right behind me.
I could feel everyone's eyes on me. "No one else is dying today!" I looked up at Obito with pleading eyes. "I refuse to let anyone else die knowing there's something I could've done! I meant what I said. You are a good person, your act just now proves it. You don't deserve to die, you deserve to come back to the village as a ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village. You deserve to live! And I'll be damned if I throw all that away just so you can be a martyr!"
Obito was speechless, they all were. Eventually, his eyes grew watery as he whispered, "thank you". I smiled in return.
Out of the corner of my eye, I was Kaguya opening a portal and trying to escape. "Sasuke!" I yelled to grab his attention. He immediately realised what I was hinting at and attacked Kaguya using his Rinnegan.
She just narrowly managed to escape him by shifting dimensions again.
Sasuke immediately activated his Susanoo and flew towards her, Naruto following. Exhausted, I collapsed, Obito catching me.
After only a few minutes, I forced myself to sit up. I turned around to face Obito and Kakashi Sensei. "There might be one last thing I'm able to do for this war". They tilted their heads, signalling me to continue. "What if I told you I had the ability to transfer one piece of the Sharingan from one person to another? You both possess a piece of the Sharingan but since it's being used by two different people, it isn't whole. If I were to, say, transfer Obito's piece of the Sharingan to Kakashi Sensei, then that would make it whole and give Kakashi Sensei all of its abilities, but Obito could lose the Sharingan. But it's very powerful, it might not even last. It might just last long enough for the war to end". It was also very risky and fatal. If I didn't have enough power, I could die. But I knew what their answer would be if I told them.
They took one look at each other before turning to me with a nod. "Do it".
I nodded in return. "Just decide amongst yourselves who gets the power".
Immediately, Obito stepped forward. "Give it to Kakashi". My eyes flicked to him. "I don't need the Sharingan anymore".
Kakashi Sensei opened his mouth to argue, but I cut him off. "Then it's decided". I sent Obito a knowing smirk.
Struggling, I managed to stand in front of them. I did the hand signs then placed my hand on Kakashi Sensei's good eye while placing my other hand on Obito's Sharingan eye. I could feel the strength leaving my body, but I knew I had to stay strong. At least, until the Jutsu was complete.
After what seemed like forever of excruciating pain, I finally removed my hands. I knew immediately that I didn't have the strength to even stand as I felt my legs give way, Sakura moving behind me to catch me. I forced myself to breathe in order to stay conscious.
I forced myself to look over at the two ninjas. I watched as they both opened their eyes. Obito's eye was as black as mine and both of Kakashi Sensei's eyes had the distinct red pattern of the Mangekyō Sharingan. I smiled, knowing the Jutsu I hadn't even perfected had worked.
Sakura looked at me with wide eyes. "(Y/N), your eyes..."
That's when I noticed it. I couldn't sense the Rinnegan anymore. "That must've been my sacrifice to ensure we had the power to win this war," I deduced. "I just got this power and now I have to give it up..." I chuckled.
I turned to Kakashi Sensei and Obito. "I don't have enough strength to continue in this war. The two of you will have to take my place. Obito and I will stay here".
Sakura seemed hesitant to leave me, so I sent her a soft smile and a nod signalling that it was okay. Eventually, Obito and I were alone as we watched the war come to an end.
Naruto severed Black Zetsu from Kaguya, and immobilised him. Kaguya knocked Sasuke back, and Naruto attacked her with his enhanced Rasenshuriken, resulting in Kaguya undertaking an unstable Tailed Beast transformation. The beast's hands began attacking, and when they aimed for Sakura, she was saved by Kakashi Sensei's Susanoo. As he joined the fight, Kaguya created a gigantic Truth-Seeking Ball and re-emerged. While the others confronted her, Kakashi used his new found techniques against Kaguya. Naruto and his disguised clone faced her, and when Kakashi warped away Black Zetsu's attack, Sasuke swapped with the clone as Sakura punched her.
I watched proudly as Sakura prevented Kaguya from flying up, allowing Naruto and Sasuke to make physical contact with her, sealing her away. It seemed we had come a long way from that scattered team who were unable to think of anyone but themselves.
Kaguya's Expansive Truth-Seeker Orb began crumbling, the land began sealing Kaguya, and Kaguya herself began reverting into the Gedo Statue, as the tailed beasts were separated from it. The rabbit head left in it spat Madara's body out. Sasuke and the tailed beasts met up with Kakashi Sensei and Sakura, while Naruto went looking for Black Zetsu, who was already intent on scheming Kaguya's next resurrection, and sealed him away too.
Naruto looked over at me and I gave him a proud smile, which he returned with a cheeky one of his own.
Just as we were wondering how to get back to our own dimension, we were back and standing in front of the first four Hokage and Hagoromo.
