Finally, the big day arrived. Today was supposed to be a special day, it was my seventeenth birthday. But I was using all my energy into hoping the summit went well.

I met up with Danzo and his personal guards at the gate, and then we set off to the Land of Iron.

After what seemed like forever, we finally arrived at the meeting place. The Five Kage all took their place while I stood next to the person hosting the meeting. Gaara and I locked eyes before I tore my gaze away.

Not even five minutes into the meeting, I started to sense a familiar chakra behind me.

Almost immediately after, the Kage started arguing. Eventually, Mifune was able to shut them up. "Why don't we start by letting our guest interpret the information she's managed to gather?"

I took that as my cue. I grabbed out my scrolls and placed them in front of the Kage, opening them up in the process. As I handed Gaara his scroll, I managed to discreetly slip a note into his hand saying, 'Sasuke's here, be on your guard'. When he read the note, he looked at me with wide eyes and I subtly put my finger over my lips telling him not to say anything. I did promise Sasuke I wouldn't stand in his way if he were to come after Danzo.

When I reached the front again, I yelled 'Release!' and on the scrolls appeared two binders; one with the Uchiha crest and one with a red cloud. "This is everything I have. And I mean 'everything'". I glanced at Danzo with a slight smirk as I said that last bit.

I waited in silence as they flicked through it. Eventually, the Raikage spoke up. "How do we know we can trust you? You were a member of the Akatsuki for three years and are close with Sasuke Uchiha".

"She was on a mission so she could protect her village," Gaara defended me. My eyes widened momentarily before they softened.

I held up my hand to stop him. "Thank you Lord Kazekage, but it's alright". I turned to the Raikage. "I understand your suspicions, I'd be suspicious of me too. But as the Kazekage said, I joined the Akatsuki to spy on them from the inside and report back to my godmother, the Fifth Hokage. I hated them and everything they stood for. I only did what I did in an effort to gain their trust. And when they captured me, I told them nothing about my village or our plans.

"As for Sasuke, he is more than just a member of my clan, he is my brother, by law and in my heart. Part of the reason I stayed in the Akatsuki was that I thought it'd be easier to find him and bring him home safely. To this day, I want nothing more than for that to be a reality.

"So I stand here as proof of my loyalty to my village, giving you all the information I have on Sasuke and my clan, in turn betraying the trust Sasuke has placed on me. All in order to save him from himself.

"But I stand here for another reason. I implore you, please lift the elimination order on Sasuke. With both my parents, my brother, my husband and my godfather all dead and my godmother in a coma, he is the only family I have left. He means more to me than life itself. If he died, I don't know what I'd do with myself. He's not a bad person, he's just lost. So driven by his need for revenge, he fails to see reason. I know in my heart that the Sasuke I once knew is still in there. Please". I smiled softly, knowing Sasuke could hear me.

"No matter what, I will eliminate Sasuke Uchiha for what he did," the Raikage said. Defeated, I stepped back. "But he was not alone. My men recognized the person that aided them as someone from the Bingo Book". He handed me a folded piece of paper.

I opened it but as soon as I saw who was on the paper, I froze. It may have been 13-14 years since I had last seen him, but I'd recognise him anywhere. That was my brother. I shook my head. "No, that's not him, it can't be".
